Akuna - a place where you can sit and unwind while you take in the in magnificent ocean view! Modern inside and out, Akuna offers everything you need for a holiday by the beach. This home is thoughtfully decorated and has a crisp and homely coastal feel. It also has the luxury of a separate unit downstairs with its own living area and kitchen, queen bedroom and ensuite. With two separate livings areas, Akuna is an ideal house for families or groups to enjoy a holiday together, yet providing spacious living. Travelling with kids? The backyard has a cubby house and the owners generously provide games and colouring books for use while during your stay.

Where will I be?
Akuna is located one street back from the ocean in a quiet suburban area between Easts Beach and Loves Bay. Easts Beach is the closest swimming beach and can be reached on foot - about a 10-15 minute walk. Kiama is under 10 minutes drive from the house.
Why choose Akuna?
The expansive front deck with outdoor setting and retractable awning provides the ideal location to feel the sea breeze and watch the whales passing by during migration season. The back deck is covered and private and has a dining table and chairs. You can walk to the beach, or drive further afield to one of the many beautiful beaches on the south coast. Kiama, Gerringong and Berry are located close by and offer an array of shops, cafes and restaurants.
How is the property laid out?
Akuna is a light filled house with two separate living areas. Upstairs is the main area with living room, kitchen, and an amazing front verandah overlooking the ocean. The upstairs living area also has a dining table, and the kitchen features a breakfast bar where you can enjoy your meal looking out to the ocean. Off the kitchen is a back deck with garden area and gas BBQ - and a hammock for lazy afternoons! Downstairs is a self contained unit with generous living area, kitchen, queen bedroom and ensuite with shower and toilet. The laundry is accessed from downstairs and has a washing machine and dryer.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The large deck opens up from the living/dining area and has spectacular views. The backyard is fenced and has a deck, garden area and cubby house for the kids!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Akuna has reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living area upstairs and a portable electric heater downstairs.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street, open air parking for two cars on the driveway. The garage is locked and not available for guest use.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

A great location with incredible views. Lots of space, wonderful decor with everything you need for a short break or holiday. Comfort and quality throughout. A short 4 min trip by car to Kiama and it’s beaches, access to coastal walks and a 15 min drive to beautiful Berry. Choice of two large Outdoor living areas to relax. Recommended.
