Just over an hour's drive from Sydney, Alpine Lodge is the perfect luxury country getaway. Set on 22 acres, this architecturally designed home boasts beautiful bush views and luxurious modern amenities. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen and generous living spaces, Alpine Lodge can accommodate up to 10 people in great comfort.
Where will I be?
Alpine Lodge is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Mittagong. Bowral is a 15 minute drive away. This is the perfect location for those who want a secluded retreat, yet on the doorstep of the Southern Highlands.
Why choose Alpine Lodge?
Alpine Lodge is split over three levels. The upstairs level has 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms; the middle level has the main lounge areas, study, dining room, kitchen and butler's pantry; the lower level has 2 bedrooms and a rumpus room. Each level either connects to outdoor balconies or paved deck areas.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it?
Alpine Lodge provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can 100% guarantee that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If internet access is important to you, please have a backup plan.
The main lounge room has a large screen television, and due to its age and complexity, the home theatre system is still in the house, but its operation cannot be guaranteed.
What about outdoors?
Alpine Lodge is set on 22 Acres. The house is surrounded by gardens and manicured lawns. Beyond the lawns is bushland which attracts a range of wildlife that can be viewed from the expansive outdoor entertaining area.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
There are heated, polished concrete floors in parts of the house. Between the formal dining room and the lounge room is a double sided gas fireplace which warms both areas. The ensuite bathroom features underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
For the warmer months there is reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Alpine Lodge.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Alpine Lodge has a carport plus open air driveway parking spaces. Sorry, the garage is not for guest use.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Alpine Lodge is not a pet friendly property.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral. Gilen Perez - 21st March 2023Such a beautiful holiday home. My family and I stayed there for my wedding and it was perfect for getting ready & some DIY projects. We didn’t get to utilise the amenities much as we were crazy busy leading to the Big day but would be happy to come back for just a relaxing weekend with fam. If anything I hope they just upgrade their coffee machine to the usual coffee pods. I was prepared for it and brought heaps of coffee pods (usual nespresso non-vertuso) & milk but could not use it.

Huge space - fully equiped
Robert Longair - 31st December 2022Big space, in addition to 5 bedrooms, there are endless reception rooms. Ideal for large family gathering as you aren’t all squeezed into a single area. And that without counting the multiple patios. Cutlery and glassware for large group and enough pots and pans for cooking. Support was great from Paul and team. We had two issues both resolved immediately. V clean, nice sheets and linen. Grounds are extensive, bordering forest, so the occasional roo visits. Supper place to relax.

Typically a 9 and 5 iron and putter is all you need to have some fun. No hole on greens but you can improvise with a cup. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Sound system a bit challenging. We managed to get tv and dvd working, that was all that was needed.

Elise Grundy - 14th June 2021Had a lovely stay at the Alpine Lodge over the June Long weekend. The property is exceptional, with beautiful grounds and a perfect internal layout for multiple families. We had such a lovely time & will have memories for years to come!
Alpine Lodge was a divine getaway for my friends and I. The photos do not do it justice. It is the perfect space to entertain and you will want to stay in as much as possible. The large grounds are made even more beautiful by the colourful deciduous leaves in late April / early May. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware at the house, induction stovetop, two ovens and three dishwashers- an entertainer’s dream!

This place is very clean and spacious. The 4pm checkout on Sunday is a great touch and allowed us to leave without rushing.
Thank you for our stay, the group had a lovely time. The residence is very large, enough to accomodate everyone with some added luxuries like the home theatre.
Our entire family had a great time staying at the property, it was very relaxing, plenty of space for everyone to chill. My only issue was with the wifi as it did not work at all, even when I tried to use my mobile hotpot it was super slow. Overall, it was a really good experience. definitely recommend it if you want to get away from the city for a quiet and relaxing long weekend.
