Anchor Cottage is a neat and comfortable beach house sleeping a maximum of 8 guests. The cottage is just around the corner from the beach, general store, park and RSL. Park the car and enjoy your holiday without having to drive anywhere! The cottage has a generous living space that leads on to the front sun filled front lawn - an ideal place for friends and family to enjoy being together, playing games and enjoying the sunshine! Anchor Cottage is fully fenced, so it is great for families with young children.

Peak Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Monday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Friday being the arrival and departure day. Peak Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
Currarong is a small village with calm beaches, rock pools and excellent bushwalking, fishing and swimming. The surrounding area is well known for its sandy white beaches, beautiful swimming spots and the local towns of Huskisson and Vincentia.

There is a driveway within the fenced property where you can park your car and boat. Anchor Cottage is the perfect holiday home for enjoying a laid back holiday in a coastal village!
How is the property laid out?
Anchor Cottage consists of a main house and an additional room with an extra kitchen area and bathroom accessed externally through the covered area. Note that there is a MAXIMUM OF 8 guests permitted at the property. The main house has a very generous living and dining area which overlooks the front lawn. The glass sliding doors can be opened up to let in the sun and the fresh sea breeze. In addition, there is another dining table located near the kitchen. There are two bathrooms - one in the main house and one in the additional room - as well as a kitchen in the main house and another kitchenette area in the extra room.
Wi-Fi, internet, Netflix or pay TV- will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
There is a generous front lawn area that is fully fenced. The front yard receives full sun. The house also has a covered area with table and chairs which is great for inclement weather. The back of the property is adjacent to a reserve, which can be accessed through the back gate of the property. There is a gas BBQ for easy outdoor cooking.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
There are ceiling fans in the main living area and in each bedroom. There is also a reverse cycle air conditioner in the dining room and the extra room. For cooler months, there is a gas heater in the living room.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sheets, pillow cases, doonas, blankets, bath and hand towels are provided all year round. Please remember to bring your own beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats, etc?
Parking is available within the property for 2 cars or 1 car and a boat.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Unfortunately, Anchor Cottage is not pet friendly.
Smoking is strictly not permitted in the Cottage
Please note that The Holidays Collection has a strict non-smoking policy. Please respect this policy by not smoking within or around the Cottage. Thank you.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

The house is fresh and bright. Linen, towels, beds all good. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment ; also generous supplies of cleaning materials as well as such things as gladwrap and foil and seasoning, olive oil etc. One caveat is that there is no automatic dishwasher
