Enjoyable Stay

Our girls weekend away was most enjoyable for the six of us. The beds were comfortable and warm plenty of space with the upstairs area providing nice views of seven mile beach. Beach Retreat has a nice backyard.

The property was great. It was clean and tidy and had plenty of space and things to do. Check in and communicating with the host was easy. I would recommend this property to others, as it had a great outdoor spaces with the top deck having great views of the escarpment and ocean. It was also just a short walk to the beach.

This was a lovely home jampacked with lots of indoor activities, which were very fun and enjoyable. The retreat and easiness of check-in and check out was great.

Great location and heaps of room

Outstanding

Family reunion in Gerroa and we had 5 houses between us. This was the house people kept coming back to. We only had 3 nights but would need at least a week to enjoy everything this house had to offer. Comfortable beds, loads of activities for all ages without stepping out the door, but when you do you realise that maybe a week won't be enough.

Positive: 3 bathrooms/toilets came in handy. The beds were comfortable and liked the piano/guitar although we did not make use of it. Spacious and games room came in handy for our crowd of 8.Negative: There were many insects inside the house. Fortunately there was an insect spray which came in handy. Also some items were not in working order such as the juke box in the games rooms and some of the portable radios did not have batteries in them. The barbecue looked very dated and unclean.

We had a great stay in Gerroa as a group of friends. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend but this house couldn’t be better set up for that with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, an arcade, comfy lounges and a big table for meals/board games. It was great to have separate single beds without bunks making the place suitable for adults as well as kids. The backyard was nice and level for playing yard games and had great undercover space also. For when it wasn’t raining we had a quick walk to the beach and cafe and the upstairs deck has nice views. Would highly recommend this house for a weekend getaway for friends or families.

Great property! The house is perfect size for 2 families and kids and has everything you would ever need. We were so content at the house that we didn't explore as much as we had planned. Lovely area - we will be back soon hopefully!

Lovely Holiday Home

Thank you for the privilege of staying in your lovely holiday home. It felt like a family home not a rented house. The little touches were greatly appreciated. The games room was a bonus . Gerroa is such a lovely spot and we loved that it was only a short walk to the beach. It was our first family holiday since Covid-19 and the memories made were priceless! Many thanks.

Beautiful Home

Had a lovely, relaxing time in your beautiful home. The kids particularly enjoyed the layout of the house and spent many hours playing imaginary games in the different spaces. Really appreciated the proximity to the beach and rock platforms.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gerroa. The location was excellent, a short walk to the beach and a short drive to neighbouring town Gerringong. The house was spacious and suited our one week stay with 4 adults and three children. The house had everything you could want and the kitchen was well equipped to cook all meals. The property was cleaned prior to our stay but could do with a thorough spring clean throughout. There is no dryer at the property and trying to get washing dry in the sea air did present a problem for our large family.

Large, comfortable house in a great location

Our family of six adults, two children and a baby had a wonderful holiday in this very spacious, comfortable house. It was only a short, pleasant walk to the tranquil river beach or the patrolled ocean beach, so there was swimming to suit the whole family. The house has a pleasant, flat back yard, ideal for children, and we enjoyed many long lunches and barbecues on the covered back terrace. Inside, the house has everything you need, and the large, separate upstairs area with balcony provides a great parents' (or grandparents') retreat. You couldn't ask for a more comfortable place for a family or group holiday.

Beautiful

I am Australian but currently living in Cardiff, Whales with my husband and 3 daughters. We stayed in your house with my parents and sister and have very much enjoyed our family beach holiday. Girls have loved the surf + sun, but have particularly enjoyed fossicking in the rock pools, harassing starfish, crabs, anemones and collecting shells on beautiful 7 mile beach! Your house has made our holiday very relaxing with enough space + activities for everyone. Gerroa is truly beautiful - we have love every minute of it!

We had the best time at your house. The balcony at the top has the nicest view and allowed us to enjoy the weather and our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable :-) We will come back for sure!!

Would Recommend!

We enjoyed three perfect nights here and had a wonderful time exploring all it has to offer. Night trip to the beach is always a good idea but i'd recommend taking the footbridge as the lagoon can easily be 10ft deep! Perfect cheeky little weekend away, would recommend!

Thoughtfully equipped

The house at Gerroa was just right for us, a big family. It was near the beach - in walking distance and near shops and restaurants. There were flexible sleeping arrangements, separate areas for adults and children (when needed), a lovely inside dining room as well as a beautifully large table with BBQ. The house was very thoughtfully equipped with a big kitchen and good bathrooms. We'll be back! Helen

Always Spotless, we keep coming back

I have stayed here a few times now, and have loved it every time. It's a great house - big and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. The house is always spotless when we arrive, with everything in good working order. The kitchen is well-appointed, so we've been able to cook family meals without fuss. A TV and DVD both upstairs and downstairs means that night time entertainment is sorted for both children and adults, and the short walk to the cafe is fabulous for morning coffee. The street is quiet and safe, with a small park a few doors away for kids, and the beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. Gerroa is a beautiful part of the world and the house makes holidaying here very easy. Each visit has been relaxing and lots of fun, and we'll be coming back again
