Blue Wren Cottage offers guests casual and comfortable country style accommodation located in the historic village of Berrima. Set amongst the rose bushes, this semi-attached cottage offers a generous open living space with heating, gas fireplace, dining area and a kitchenette. The front garden with a wide north-facing verandah is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your stay in the country.

Where will I be?

Berrima is known for its colonial sandstone architecture which has been built amongst the lush green surrounds of New South Wales Southern Highlands. Along with its country charm, Berrima is filled with exceptional restaurants, rustic pubs, cafes, and eclectic boutiques. Blue Wren is only a short distance to the popular Bendooley Estate, The Stables and Berkelouw Book Barn and only minutes to Bowral and surrounding country villages. Blue Wren is located within a quiet area of the town. Just a few streets from the centre of the historic town, you can walk to all areas of Berrima.

How is the property laid out?

Parking in the front driveway, the front door is located on the verandah. The door opens into a hallway with the lounge and kitchenette area on the left, and the two bedrooms on the right. The lounge room is generous in size and has a fireplace and TV. Both bedrooms have ensuites with showers and toilets.

WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?

This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. There is a TV in the lounge room.

Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

What about outdoors?

Blue Wren has a north facing verandah with seats and a gas BBQ. There is also a covered outdoor area at the back of the house, which is accessed through the second bedroom.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

There is a gas fireplace in the lounge room, and a reverse cycle air conditioner which can be used in warmer weather.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Blue Wren provides linen, duvets and quality towels.

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is parking for 2 vehicles on the driveway to the left of the cottage.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?

• Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
• Easter: 4 nights
• Long Weekends: 3 nights
• All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Peak Season rules?

Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
