Where will I be?
Chalet Beaumont is located on Tourist Road between Berry and Kangaroo Valley. It is a 15 minute drive to Berry, 15 minute drive to Kangaroo Valley, 20 minute drive to Nowra, and 30 minutes to Seven Mile Beach. The stunning Cambewarra Lookout and Cafe is also only a few minutes drive by car away - well worth to visit to see the spectacular view on a clear day!
Why choose Chalet Beaumont?
Chalet Beaumont is a tranquil and eclectic getaway. The stunning mountain views can be enjoyed from the spacious deck, or from in front of the fireplace during the cooler months. If you like to cook then you will enjoy the large, well equipped kitchen with gas appliances and beautiful views. Touches such as the stained glass windows, interesting artworks and unique furniture make this property unlike any other and one that you will feel at home in.
How is the property laid out?
The house is set on two levels. It is approached from a parking area on the road / high side of the property, and from the lower level, you have access to large sprawling lawn areas, complete with pond and firepit!
The upstairs or main level of the house has two king bedrooms, a shared bathroom (for use by the second bedroom on this level + the bedroom downstairs), a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living room....all of which connect with a near full width deck with great views. In the hallway, there is also a single bed that is a day bed during the day. You can see that bed in the photos, with the dog sitting on it! It is suitable for a child / teenager. Next to the day bed is a piano which guests are welcome to use.
The 4 poster king bedroom is the one with the en-suite, and please also note that it is divided from the hallway where the day bed is via the use of moveable room screens, not a door. The second king bedroom has doors and curtains for privacy.
External stairs on the deck lead to the lower level of the house lead to a third, very private queen bedroom with covered patio area and direct access to the lawns and gardens. This bedroom shares a bathroom on the main level, but has its own, fantastic outdoor hot and cold shower!
The kitchen is equipped with a La Pavoni ground coffee machine - complete with coffee bean grinder, coffee tamper and milk frother. Please bring your own ground coffee.

Karon Lekeu - 25th April 2023Amazing view and lives up to the images in the ad. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great outdoor living spaces and very picturesque. Full of old world charm, clean and delightful. We loved our stay and would definitely return again.
The most amazing weekend
alan peacock - 27th March 2023After arriving, it was so easy to get keys and unlock the oasis that is Chalet Beaumont. The views from every room in the house are spectacular looking down into the valley and the stained glass windows are so special. The house itself is very equipped with all amenities and everything you will ever need to have a great stay. The beds are extremely comfy and we slept so well. We had so many wombats, echidnas and a few wallabies in the backyard which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place

Perfect mountain retreat for family with dog
Eugene Chew - 7th December 2021We highly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. We loved the fireplace, piano, espresso machine, high ceilings with beautiful Stainglass windows, amazing vistas of the mountains below. Our dog loved exploring the large yard with many beautiful plants and wild animals including wombats and parrots. The house itself is decorated in an eclectic mix of art deco and oriental arts and crafts. It’s a really fun and charming place to relax with family. Highly recommend!
Wonderful!
Anonymous - 16th June 2021Chalet Beaumont is the most wonderful place to really unwind. The house itself is comfortable, very well equipped and full of lovely surprises. You don't need to go anywhere else as the view from the deck is endlessly captivating and there is much to explore in the grounds. It was enough for us to just sit still and watch the wildlife. We will be back.
Bucolic Bliss!
Anonymous - 8th June 2021Space to breathe, views aplenty, charm in buckets, wombats and amazing coffee machines! Everything was thoughtfully prepared for our stay. Love the funky style!
Like stepping into a dream
Anonymous - 8th June 2021Beautiful, homely interiors and a stunning view of the surrounds. Even when a bit of a chill sets in there was wood for the fire and heaters to warm your toes by. If you don't book quickly, I will, so get in before I snap it up again!
A wonderful, unique and picturesque holiday home in a beautiful part of the world.
Anonymous - 8th June 2021Stunning, expansive views and colourful, cosy interiors complete with pot belly stove on winter’s evening. Gorgeous and peaceful garden on the edge of the bush. Loved walking down to the dam, visiting the neighbours cows and having a look at the vegetable garden. Other highlights were sitting on the sunny deck and trying out the invigorating outdoor shower!
Chalet Beaumont
Anonymous - 8th June 2021We had a lovely time staying three nights at Chalet Beaumont. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the extraordinarily beautiful surroundings. As you come down the driveway, you’re transported to your own private world with stunning views of the natural environment as far as the eye can see. The chalet is immaculately and characterfully presented with beautiful high ceilings, stained glass windows and a huge deck. The outdoor shower was an unexpected bonus, with equally beautiful views! It’s the perfect place to get away for a weekend or longer to recharge from the hustle and bustle of the city!
A special and unique house and property in a perfect location for many varied activities
