What about outdoors?
Behind the front picket fence, is a pretty shaded feature garden, including a spectacular smoke bush and a fairy magnolia tree. The rear garden is terraced with a lovely patch of lawn at the top, then continues down steps to the veggie garden and fire pit. Beyond that is the wild and rambly part of the garden with its own apple trees. The cottage garden includes hellebores, Japanese wind flowers, clematis, daffodils, jonquils, butterfly bush, jasmine. It has ornamental deciduous trees such as Japanese Maples and a flourishing veggie patch. And no country garden would be complete without a bay tree and a lemon tree to help yourself to. There is a nice little lawn to picnic on and terraces with a complete outdoor setting and a fire pit (subject to fire restrictions). During summer pick your own apples and raspberries in the little orchard down the back, and there you'll find a gate that opens to a pretty creek.
