Immaculate and modern, Stonefish features five bedrooms, five bathrooms with manicured gardens and is less than a 2 minute walk from the white sands of Hyams Beach. Stonefish is a FAMILY friendly holiday beach house with the emphasis on providing premium accommodation for those wishing to enjoy a luxury holiday with modern conveniences.
A special and unique feature of this house is that a private viewing platform (accessed from the beach below the house in front) allows you beachfront privacy whilst taking in the beautiful views from your own sea deck.
Strictly NO PARTIES at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Please note that the owners of this property live in the adjacent house. The backyards are separate, but adjoining.
Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023)
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Friday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
Where will I be?
Stonefish is located in the heart of the village, just at the bottom of Booderee Avenue when you come into Hyams Beach. It therefore has very easy walking access to the cafe and all beaches, so just park the car and enjoy the location.

A spacious, well designed house with a fantastic outdoor entertaining area, a lovely secure garden and one bathroom for each bedroom making this property the perfect house for all the FAMILY.
How is the property laid out?
The house is two storey and both levels are accessed through the entry foyer. The foyer can also be accessed through the garage. The two queen bedrooms are on the entry level, each with ensuite bathroom (shower and toilet only), and each with a walk in wardrobe. A few steps then lead down to the lower level which has a third bedroom with 2 x king single beds, a third shared bathroom (bath, shower, toilet and twin vanities), an internal laundry, and an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The living area opens up to a large outdoor entertaining area with a table and chairs, lounges, and gas BBQ. Bi-fold windows also create a servery that opens from the kitchen to the entertaining deck. Finally, Stonefish has a lovely, fully enclosed garden with sun cabana - perfect for kids to run around safely. Upstairs is accessed by stairs located in the entry foyer. On this level, there are two queen bedrooms. One bedroom has an ensuite (shower, toilet and twin vanities only), and the other bedroom utilises a shared bathroom which features a three-way bathroom and includes a twin vanity area; a separate toilet; and a separate shower and bath. This level contains a full kitchen, dining table with seating for 8 and a generous lounge area. This level also contains a bi-fold window that opens from the kitchen to the balcony. The living area opens up to a large outdoor entertaining balcony with outdoor table and chairs. The view from this balcony is stunning!
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFI is important to you, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Stonefish guests also have access to an ocean viewing platform and sitting area which is accessed from the beach below the house in front. You walk to the middle beach at Hyams, then back around to under the house in front. Go through the gate and up to the platform with a sign "Stonefish Guests Only". The cushions are in a storage box, so please help yourself to these, however, please put them back in the storage box on departure, and ensure the umbrella is closed. Please DO NOT go up the stairs further as this is private property.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Stonefish. Please bring your own beach towels and beach gear.
Additional provisions for children
Stonefish provides child’s high chair, booster seat, plus pram, foldup cot, mattress, sheets, and blankets.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Stonefish has 3 parking bays - 1 bay in the garage and 2 bays on the driveway (left and right of driveway). Note: Please don’t park over foot path as the ranger patrols this very frequently.
Is my pet welcome to stay?
Sorry, Stonefish is not a pet friendly property.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Stonefish has electric air-conditioning or heating in each of the two queen bedrooms (individual units with their own climate control), and also electric heating and cooling in the open plan kitchen, living and dining (a third unit). Upstairs bedrooms and living room have individual electric reverse cycle air conditioning units with independent climate control. All of the bathrooms also have under-floor heating and heat lights overhead.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 7 night blocks during the peak period. The peak period runs mid-December to the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special peak season rules?
Please note that during the peak period our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the rosters manageable for our cleaners. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
