Stonefish - Ground floor - 4pm Check Out Sundays (except Peak season)!
Immaculate and modern, Stonefish ground floor features three bedrooms, three bathrooms with manicured gardens and is less than a 2 minute walk from the white sands of Hyams Beach. Stonefish is a family friendly holiday beach house with the emphasis on providing premium accommodation for those wishing to enjoy a luxury holiday with modern conveniences.
A special and unique feature of this house is that a private viewing platform (accessed from the beach below the house in front) allows you beachfront privacy whilst taking in the beautiful views from your own seadeck.
Please be aware that Stonefish is the lower level of a large modern house, with a separate 2 bedroom unit upstairs that is occupied by the owners. The owners have a separate front door, no children or pets, they will notuse the garden during your stay, and only share a laundry and half of the garage and driveway with you. They will in no way interupt your stay, and will leave you to your privacy.
Where will I be?
Stonefish is located in the heart of the village, just at the bottom of Booderee Avenue when you come into Hyams Beach. It therefore has very easy walking access to the cafe and all beaches, so just park the car and enjoy the location.

A spacious, well designed house with a fantastic outdoor entertaining area, a lovely secure garden and one bathroom for each bedroom making this property the perfect house for all the family.
How is the property laid out?
The house has private access from Cyrus Street into an entry foyer. The two queen bedrooms are on this level, each with ensuite bathroom (shower only), and each with a walk in wardrobe. Access to the lock up garage is also from the entry foyer. A few steps then lead down to the lower level which has a third bedroom with 2x king single beds, a third shared bathroom (bath, shower, toilet and twin vanities), an internal laundry,and an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The living area opens up to a large outdoor entertaining area with a table and chairs, lounges, and gas BBQ. Bi-fold windows also create a servery that opens from the kitchen to the entertaining deck. Finally, Stonefish has a lovely, fully enclosed garden with sun cabana – perfect for kids to run around safely.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it?
Stonefish offers complimentry wifi, however,please note that connectivity cannot be guaranteed by the owner nor the managing agent as Jervis Bay can be intermitent with reception.
What about outdoors?
Stonefish has a fantastic outdoor entertaining deck that is covered from the rain, a lovely garden with separate cabana for catching the afternoon sun. The garden is for your exclusive use and is not shared with the upstairs unit.
Stonefish guests also have access to an ocean viewing platform and sitting area which is accessed from the beach below the house in front. You walk to the middle beach at Hyams, then back around to under the house in front. Go through the gate and up to the platfrom with a sign “Stonefish Guests Only”. The cushions are in a storage box, so please help yourself to these, however, please put them back in the storage box on departure, and ensure the umbrella is closed. Please DO NOT use the upper level viewing deck as this is private property.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Stonefish. Please bring your own beach towels and beach gear.
Parking for cars, boats etc??
There is shared use of the double lock up garage with the unit upstairs i.e. one locked up car space plus room to park one more car behind that space on the driveway, again shared with the unit upstairs.
Is my pet welcome to stay?
Sorry, Stonefish is not a pet friendly property.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Stonefish has electric air-conditioning or heating in each of the two queen bedrooms (individual units with their own climate control), and also electric heating and cooling in the open plan kitchen, living and dining (a third unit). All of the bathrooms also have under-floor heating and heat lights overhead.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 7 night blocks during the peak period. The peak period runs mid-December to the Australia Day long weekend in January
Are there any special peak season rules?
Please note that during the peak period our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the rosters manageable for our cleaners.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

This property is comfortable, clean, plenty of indoor and outdoor space and is in a great location. The viewing deck just up from the beach is a gem and perfect for contemplation, reading or cocktails 🍹. The coastal and national park walks are beautiful. I highly recommend and will be back

Stonefish was immaculate. Each room was beautifully decorated and had everything that was required. The outdoor area was fantastic - such a great place to eat, relax and enjoy the sunshine. The location was perfect - just a short stroll to both the beach and cafe. Having access three bathrooms was definitely a plus when staying as a group, as was the late check out on a Sunday. We have already looked to see whether Stonefish is available at another date as we can't wait to return!

We stayed here for 2x nights to celebrate our young daughters birthday. The main reason we paid extra and booked this house was because of the 'direct beach access' - lugging a 2 year old and all the baggage that comes with that, this was perfect for us. Unfortunately when we got there, we soon realised there was no direct beach access (as advertised AND on the welcome email). When I called to query, we were told 'oh sorry, the house doesn't offer this anymore, we'll take it off the listing'. Really, really disappointing in the lack of comms around this. We would have gone with another beach house had we known this. The beds are also super hard as well hence why we stayed 2x nights and not 3. Beautiful house and the location is still great. The advertising detail around this though gave this trip a bit of a sour tone.

What a lovely stay! With 2 young children an enclosed yard from which we can see the children play from inside the house (or indeed on the very pleasant back deck) was ideal. Direct access to the beach and the spectacular views from the deck above the beach where we viewed a pod of dolphins and several whales made for a wonderful, relaxing long week end.
