This unique escape is architect designed and set on an acre overlooking 100 acres of lush green farmland that rolls down to picturesque Gerringong Golf Course and secluded Walker’s Beach. And we always offer a late weekend checkout on Sundays at 4pm because we know you won’t want to leave!
Where will I be?
The Shed Gerroa is located 90 minutes south of Sydney, set on one acre overlooking farmland and the ocean between Gerringong Golf Course and Seven Mile Beach. Just a few minutes’ drive from Gerringong’s charming cafes and shops, beautiful Werri Beach and coastal walks. Berry and Kiama are a picturesque 10 minute drive away.
Why choose The Shed?
The Shed is the perfect getaway for any time of year. In Summer enjoy the plunge pool and sea breezes, while in winter soak in the northern sun by day and enjoy the cosy double-sided open fireplace by night. The expansive outdoor grounds are perfect for family fun all year round. Sunrise and sunset is spectacular at The Shed. Gerroa.
The Shed celebrates an industrial aesthetic with magnificent five and a half metre high ceilings, polished concrete floors, expansive glass and many unique details throughout.
How is the property laid out?
The Shed is single level with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master king bedroom has views to Walker’s Beach with an ensuite with bath, shower and deluxe bathrobes. The queen bedroom has French doors opening onto the garden, and the bunkroom has two sets of bunk beds (four single beds), lounge, smart TV with Netflix, and DVD player, Sony PlayStation, games and plenty of room for the kids to play.
The main living area features an open plan lounge and dining area capturing the magnificent farm and ocean views with a galley kitchen. This flows onto the northern lawn and covered eastern terrace. The dining table seats ten comfortably and is separated from the lounge by an impressive double-sided wood fireplace. The industrial style galley kitchen is generously stocked and has everything you should need including Nespresso coffee machine. The breezeway space features an impressive four metre glass fold up door and sliding wall to truly make this an exceptional indoor/outdoor space – whatever the season.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
Complimentary WI-FI is available at The Shed and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The Shed. Gerroa is on one acre of lush green grass and is surrounded by 100 acres of neighbouring farmland. Take in the views while enjoying the 3.5m diameter plunge pool. Dine alfresco at the outdoor table for 10. Disconnect while you lounge around the firepit and watch the kids climb trees, play on the swings and explore! You may be lucky to catch the neighbour’s friendly cows when they come to the fence to say hello.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
The double-sided industrial open wood fireplace is a stand out and central to the living space. There are also ceiling fans in the living/dining/kitchen and bedrooms. All bedrooms have electric heaters and there is also a large gas heater in the breezeway while the bathrooms enjoy radiant heaters.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
All linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street parking for 4 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, this property is not pet friendly.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Who will I be dealing with during my stay?
This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral. We have over 270 properties in Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Berry, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach and the Southern Highlands. We offer guests 24/7 customer service – emergency calls only after hours, please.

Karina at Dandelion & Mallow can provide in-house catering options at The Shed. Gerroa., from ‘sit and share’ drop-off meals to a ‘communal feast’ with a fully styled table, beautiful food and full service. Chris173 - 30th December 2015Just spent a great Christmas week at the Shed with children and grandchildren! We love the design, set up, it's practical and easy to live in - we instantly felt at home! With Gerringong so close for shops etc., a fab restaurant down in Gerroa and lovely beaches on either side everything is within easy reach but you are 'far from the madding crowd' - we'd definitely consider returning!!

Incredibly Stylish!

Just divine. We were there for an hour and were planning our next week end back. We took up some of our 70's records and reminisced with good music, good wine, good food and lots of laughs. DanielB - 2nd April 2015We recently spent a weekend away at The Shed, Gerroa & we can honestly say we have never stayed anywhere like this. We can best describe it as industrial chic meets modern comfort with big high cathedral ceilings and views nothing short of spectacular, which could be seen from every room in the house! We are a family of 5 mum, dad and 3 kids all under the age of 9 - so the rumpus/bed/TV room proved extremely versatile. Our kids also loved playing in the huge backyard (with bonus trampoline) and didnt want to leave! We loved everything about The Shed, but the main living area was our favourite part, where we sat with the gorgeous dual access fireplace blazing away as you look over the rolling green hills, cattle, and the Pacific Ocean. So relaxing! We can't recommend this place enough and will be looking for the next opportunity to get down there soon!
