Earlsbrae is an iconic and luxurious Bowral home.Built in the 1870s, the property has been stylishly renovated, yet still maintains the beautiful period architecture that connects its guests to a rich history. Set on 7 acres of beautiful established gardens, Earlsbrae can accommodate up to 19 guests across 9 bedrooms. Once in house, it is a pleasant stroll or short drive to Bowrals shops, cafes and restaurants. Or if you prefer to stay in, there is plenty to keep you entertained and comfortable including a clay tennis court, billiards room, grand piano, easy access to Mt Gibraltars walking trails, smart TVs, a modern, fully equipped kitchen and 5 renovated bathrooms. Please also note that due to the high standards of this beautiful home, party groups are not accepted, smoking inside is not permitted, and a cash bond of $2,000 applies to every booking.

** Weddings, events, and corporate retreats at Earlsbrae **

Unless you have written permission from us or the owner, weddings, events, large celebrations, parties or any other event are NOT allowed at Earlsbrae. If you do have a special occasion or celebration in mind that falls within reasonable use of the property by you as a guest, please contact us with full details so that we can consider your request. If you hold an unapproved event at Earlsbrae, your full cash bond will be forfeited.

For an additional fee, Earlsbrae is able to offer small Corporate Retreats, including use of a purpose built facility with meeting room, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor terracing. Please contact us for more details.

** Security at Earlsbrae **

Due to the quality and nature of Earlsbrae, external security cameras are located at both entry gates, and at the external doors of the house. There are no internal cameras. The security cameras are used as needed to monitor vehicle movements and to ensure that the property is used for agreed purposes by the agreed number of guests.

** Where will I be? **

Earlsbrae is located a 15 minute stroll or quick drive from Bowral’s restaurants, cafes and shops. The surrounding towns of Mittagong, Berrima and Moss Vale, as well as local wineries and key wedding venues are also all within easy driving distance.

** Why choose Earlsbrae? **

Earlsbrae offers guests a beautifully modernised, period home located in one of Bowrals most desirable areas. The tennis court, billiards room and seven acres of garden to explore means that even large groups will not feel confined here. If you do wish to leave the luxurious confines of the property, you are within walking distance of Bowral, and easy driving distance to all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.

** How is the property laid out? **

Earlsbrae is accessed through an ornate cast iron gate which leads to a driveway that winds through the property’s established gardens. Guests then have access to the large and stately main house that sleeps 14 and a separate loft style cottage that sleeps 5.

The main house has three bedrooms downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs, and two additional bedrooms, one of which is a very good quality queen sofa bed in a study room. The master bedroom downstairs has its own large en-suite, two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom, and each of the upstairs bedrooms has it own shower / toilet bathroom – a total of four bathrooms for five bedrooms.

The cottage has one bedroom upstairs with a double bed and single bed, plus a good quality queen sofa bed downstairs. The cottage has its own ktichen, living area and a shared toilet / shower bathroom upstairs.

The main house has a number of generous, luxurious and beautiful common areas – a large open plan kitchen / dining room, a formal lounge, a second formal dining room, a large billiard room, an internal laundry, outdoor entertaining decks, a fire pit, and extra bathrooms for visitors.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it? **

This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property.Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can 100% guarantee that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If internet access isimportantto you, please have a backup plan.Smart TV’s are provided in the main house with access to Netflix and other streaming services.

** What about outdoors? **

Earlsbrae has extensive gardens and grounds, with multiple places to sit outdoors and entertain. There is a full sized clay tennis court and the walking trails of Mount Gibraltar are within close proximity perfect for getting some exercise!

** Keeping warm or keeping cool?! **

In the main house, Earlsbrae has central gas heating thoughout that rises from floor ventsand 2 working fireplaces that can be usedfor the cooler months. The two upstairs bedrooms have split system airconditioners for either heating or cooling. The open plan ktichen / dining room also has its own splitsystem airconditioner, and the two adjacent bedrooms have electric heaters. Finally, some of the bathrooms have under floor heating.

The cottage has its own fireplace and firewood suppy, as well as a split system airconditioner downstairs and upstairs.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

High quality sheets and towels are provided at Earlsbrae.

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

Off street parking is available for multiple cars.

** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **

Sorry, Earlsbrae is not a pet friendly property.

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends or during December / January, and four nights at Easter.

** Who will I be dealing with during my stay? **

Jindalee – 4pm Check Out Sundays

Jindalee sleeps 12 (a maximum of ten adults please). Jindalee Beach House has gorgeous views of Point Perpendicular and is located a one minute walk to the beach. Beautifully renovated, the house has contemporary beach interiors, a separate flat, quality furnishings throughout, and a large rear outdoor BBQ entertainment area.
Please note Jindalee accepts minimum 7 night bookings only.

Jindalee sleeps 12 but its configuration allows for a maximum of ten adults. Please respect this rule.
There is a minimum seven night stay for all bookings all year round.

** Where will I be? **

Jindalee is located at the southern end of Hyams, just across the road from both the cafe and the main beach access. The location is therefore perfect!

** Why choose Jindalee? **

This house has modern spacious living areas and a huge deck with the capability to accommodate a large group. Air conditioning and cool beach breezes make for pleasant living on a warm day.

** How is the property laid out? **

Jindalee sleeps 12 : in the house there are three bedrooms (one queen with bath en-suite and walk-in robe, one queen with en-suite and built-ins, and one with two singles). Additionally there is a garden flat with two single beds and a kitchenette and below the house there is a children’s bunk room (two bunks) with its own small lounge/entertainment area.

** What about outdoors? **** **

There is an elevated and tiled front deck, a timber rear deck with gas BBQ and good outdoor entertaining area, as well as lovely lawns and gardens. There is also a hot and cold water outdoor shower in the rear garden for when you come back from the beach.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

Jindalee has air-conditioning as well as extra pedestal fans and an electric heater. The garden flat has ceiling fans.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Linen and bath towels are supplied at Jindalee. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels.

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

There are twodriveways on the property, comfortable enough for four cars. The parking is not under cover.

** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **

Jindalee is notpet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum sevennight stay for all bookings all year round.

** Are there any special Peak season rules? **

Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
