Please also note that due to the high standards of this beautiful home, party groups are not accepted, smoking inside is not permitted, and a cash bond of $2,000 applies to every booking.

Unless you have written permission from us or the owner, weddings, events, large celebrations, parties or any other event are NOT allowed at Earlsbrae. If you do have a special occasion or celebration in mind that falls within reasonable use of the property by you as a guest, please contact us with full details so that we can consider your request. If you hold an unapproved event at Earlsbrae, your full cash bond will be forfeited.

For an additional fee, Earlsbrae is able to offer small Corporate Retreats, including use of a purpose built facility with meeting room, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor terracing. Please contact us for more details.

** Security at Earlsbrae **

Due to the quality and nature of Earlsbrae, external security cameras are located at both entry gates, and at the external doors of the house. There are no internal cameras. The security cameras are used as needed to monitor vehicle movements and to ensure that the property is used for agreed purposes by the agreed number of guests.

Earlsbrae is located a 15 minute stroll or quick drive from Bowral’s restaurants, cafes and shops. The surrounding towns of Mittagong, Berrima and Moss Vale, as well as local wineries and key wedding venues are also all within easy driving distance.

** How is the property laid out? **

Earlsbrae is accessed through an ornate cast iron gate which leads to a driveway that winds through the property’s established gardens. Guests then have access to the large and stately main house that sleeps 14 and a separate loft style cottage that sleeps 5.

The main house has three bedrooms downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs, and two additional bedrooms, one of which is a very good quality queen sofa bed in a study room. The master bedroom downstairs has its own large en-suite, two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom, and each of the upstairs bedrooms has it own shower / toilet bathroom – a total of four bathrooms for five bedrooms.

The cottage has one bedroom upstairs with a double bed and single bed, plus a good quality queen sofa bed downstairs. The cottage has its own ktichen, living area and a shared toilet / shower bathroom upstairs.

The main house has a number of generous, luxurious and beautiful common areas – a large open plan kitchen / dining room, a formal lounge, a second formal dining room, a large billiard room, an internal laundry, outdoor entertaining decks, a fire pit, and extra bathrooms for visitors.

In the main house, Earlsbrae has central gas heating thoughout that rises from floor ventsand 2 working fireplaces that can be usedfor the cooler months. The two upstairs bedrooms have split system airconditioners for either heating or cooling. The open plan ktichen / dining room also has its own splitsystem airconditioner, and the two adjacent bedrooms have electric heaters. Finally, some of the bathrooms have under floor heating.

The cottage has its own fireplace and firewood suppy, as well as a split system airconditioner downstairs and upstairs.

Where will I be?

Set amongst the trees and a flat 200m walk from Werri Beach, Treetops at Werri is a laid back, family friendly home. Drive 5 minutes up the road to the seaside town of Gerringong to find cafes, resturants, bars and shopping – or 15 minutes to the nearby boutique towns of Berry and Kiama for a day out! Located at the Northend of Renfrew Rd, Treetops is also close to the start of the Gerringong to Kiama Coastal Walk.

On entering downstairs you will find two bedrooms – Bedroom 1 with a Queen and Bedroom 2 with 2 Singles – plus a laundry area leading out to the spaciousbackyard. A toilet and shower are ajacent to the laundry area.

Head up the stairs to the second storey and you hit the airy and comfortable spaces of the kitchen, living room (with Smart TV & Bluetooth Speaker System)and dining area – centred between balconies either side of the house. Bedroom 3 with a Queenand Bedroom 4 with2 x Singlesare also on this level and are off to the side for quieter quarters. The main bathroom is located on this level.

What about outdoors?

Treetops at Werri has a good sized grass backyard that is fully fenced. You can enter straight off the beach via a side gate and make use of the outdoor shower.

The garage now includesa ping pong table! You may also borrow the boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrella.

On the second storey, a covered barbeque area overlooking the backyard with spanning views to Rose Valleymakes for fantastic entertaining space whilst opposite on the same level an additional balcony catches the morning sun – the perfect spot for a morning cup of tea!

Staying warm or keeping cool?!

During the warmer months the house can be opened up to catch any available sea breeze. In the cooler months a gas heater is available to keep you warm in the open plan lounge and dining area. Portable heaters are also provided for use in the bedrooms.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

High quality linen and bath towels are provided at Treetops at Werri – though please remember to bring your own beach towels!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

Treetops at Werri has parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles.Street parking is also available on Renfrew Rd, and there is alternate access to the backyard via a gate on Werri Street.

Is my dog or cat welcome to stay?

The Oasis is an original Werri Beach house that has been stylishly renovated into a casual, comfortable and relaxing home – complete with a secret garden! The main house has one queen bedroom and a separate cottage in the magical garden has a double bedroom with en-suite. The house oozes tranquility and you are less than a one minute walk to Werri Beach!

** Please note – water well and shallow pondin the garden **

The Oasis has a water well and shallow pond in the garden. The water well is completely covered by solid timber lattice work. The pond is shallow, yet unfenced!Please inspect upon your arrival, and despite the cover being secure, please supervise young children around the well.

** Where will I be? **

The Oasis is less than a one minute walkto the famous surf spot at Werri Beach, and the start of the Gerringong to Kiama Coastal Walk. Close to The Oasis is Werri lagoon – a safe swimming area for younger children. A short, 5 minute drive away is Gerringong where you’ll find good coffee and a selection of nice restaurants. Minnamurra Falls is also close by – another great family outing!

The Oasis is a stylishly renovated, original Werri Beach house. With a Balinese influence, The Oasis is a comfortable and tranquil place to come home to after a day on the beach or exploring the local area.

** How is the property laid out? **

The Oasis is made up of the main house and a cottage, joined by a timber walkway that leads through a lovely garden. The cottage is nonetheless totally separate from the main house so keep this in mind if travelling with kids!

The main house contains one spacious bedroom with queen bed, as well as a bathroom withshower and separate bath tub, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a lounge room with smart tv. In the bedroom there is a single sofa bed that can be made up for a child on request.

The cottage contains a double bed and a bathroom which also contains a washer/dryer.

Please note that there is also a two storey annexe on the property (as seen in the photos). The deck areas of this annexe are accessible to guests, however the interior rooms, both upstairs and downstairs,are not for guest use.

** Sofa bed in master bedroom for one child **

The master bedroom has a super comfy sofa bed, suitable for one young child. You are free to make use of this but bring your own sheets, towels, blankets etc if you do.

** What about outdoors? **

Werri Beach is less than a one minute walk from the house. Connecting the two buildings is a timber deck with a Balinese inspired entertaining area complete with gas bbq and a heated spa bath, complete with swim jets for those who like to swim. There is an outdoor shower on the deck for cleaning up after the beach. The deck overlooks the landscaped garden.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

There is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge room of the main house, which also services the other rooms in the house. The lounge room also contains a ceiling fan. Both bedrooms have free standing fans, and the cottage has an oil heater for warmth.

The Pottery Cottage started life as a pottery studio bu has been lovingly converted into a comfortable, characterful cottage. There are two bedrooms, each with ensuite and bedding for 5 guests. The design of the living area and bedrooms makes extensive use of beautiful timber cladding and a double height ceiling with exposed timber joists. During the colder months, the fireplace makes this a wonderful cozy place to be.

** Where will I be? **

Pottery Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 40 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

The Pottery Cottage is a charming and comfortable base from which to explore the Southern Highlands. Set amongst beautiful gardens and removed from other cottages on the property, Pottery Cottage feels like a secluded and comfortable getaway.

The Pottery Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a charming country kitchen and dining area. The front door opens into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The bedrooms are at each end of the cottage, with the living area in the middle. Studio Cottage is a truly unique property that offers guests a charming country getaway. The cottage was built by artist Ray Crooke as his studio in the 1970s. The sandstone he used was originally hand quarried by convicts and was reclaimed from the old Kerrigans Inn. The cottage has a wonderful cozy feel to it and is a wonderful retreat to come home to after a day exploring the Southern Highlands.

** Where will I be? **

Studio Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 42 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. There are two other cottages as well as the Angas Carriage in immediate proximity to your cottage so please do expect to occasionally see your neighbours. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Oatley Cottage was originally built in 1910 in the Sydney suburb of Oatley. It was transported to Little Forrest in 2009 and lovingly restored. The cottage has a wonderful homely feel to it and is a wonderful retreat to come home to after a day exploring the Southern Highlands.

Oatley Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a charming country kitchen and dining area. The front door opens into a light, timber lined hall way off which you will find the three bedrooms. At the end of the hallway is the open plan living and dining area with large country kitchen. The bathroom and laundry lead off from this open plan area. The verandah runs the length of the back and one side of the house. There is a barbeque and plenty of outdoor seating out there to enjoy in the warmer months.

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Oatley Cottage is surrounded by lawns and gardens that are open for guests to use. The house is part of a larger 40 acre property which includes bush trails for guests to explore. Please be aware that there is an unfenced dam on the property so children must be supervised at all times.

Oatley Cottage has a slow combustion fireplace in the living area. All bedrooms have stand alone heaters. There are ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms.

Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Eco Cottage are Oatley Cottage are slightly removed from the other cottages and provide a little more privacy for occupants.

All cottages are heated, either by fireplace or electric radiator or, in some cases, both. Some cottages have air conditioning, and those that dont have fans.

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful home located on 40 acres of gardens and bush in Alpine, Southern Highlands. The timber floorboards and exposed roof beams give this property a wonderful country feel. You will not miss out on modern conveniences however, with a large modern kitchen, flat screen televisions and air conditioning upstairs. This home sleeps up to 14 people across 4 bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms. Children are well catered for with large lawns and gardens to explore and even a tree house. Lavender House is a charming and spacious base for enjoying all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.

** Where will I be? **

Lavender Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 42 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. There are two other cottages as well as the Angas Carriage in immediate proximity to your cottage so please do expect to occasionally see your neighbours. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

KIRRIEMUIR – Burradoo, Southern Highlands – 4pm Check Out Sunday

Kirriemuir is a luxurious and beautifully decorated retreat in Burradoo – ideal for 3 couples. Families may also stay of course, but due to the nature of this house, children under 8 are not permitted – sorry! The home is stylish, sumptuous and equipped with everything you could wish for – including complimentary home roasted coffee, wine and other treats upon arrival. Beds are super comfortable, the garden is large and you will be very centrally located – so a perfect base for exploring the Southern Highlands!

Families are of course welcome at Kirriemuir, but due to the nature of this house, children under 8 are not permitted – sorry! The open gas fireplace and the quality and value of furniture and other decorative items in this house are the reasons for this rule.

Kirriemuir is within easy driving distance of Bowral town, Moss Vale, and all wineries, wedding venues and other local attractions. The local pony club grounds and the beautiful Burradoo Park are an easy walk from the house and highly recommended.

Kirriemuir has extensive gardens and grounds, with multiple places to sit outdoors and entertain. It is in a quiet street adjacent to the Eridge Park velodrome and playing fields – perfect for a morning walk!

Kirriemuir has hydronic heating throughout the house, with multiple heating panels in the living areas and one panel in each bedroom and each bathroom. As a result, the home is kept at a very comfortable, consistent and cozy temperature during cooler months! In summer, the home can be opened up to let in fresh air or to catch any available breeze.
