** Security at The Deck **

Due to the quality and nature of The Deck, external security cameras are installed in some locations and are only used to investigate security issues or if needed, to make sure that the property was used for agreed purposes by the approved number of guests.There are no internal cameras.

** Where will I be? **

The Deck is located in a premiere location on the crest of Tasman Drive, Gerringong. Ithas amazing 180 degreee views of Werri Beach, an expansive oceanparkland and reserve across the road, and the hinterland. It is a short walk to the beach, Boat Harbour,or into town where there are shops, cafes and restaurants.

Werri Beach and Boat Harbour are only a short walk away. You also have the option to swim in the solar heated pool (includes a baby pool), or relax in the spa!

** How is the property laid out? **

The Deck is an ultra-modern and architecturally designed threestorey house with high quality fixtures and fittings. It is styled with beautiful timber panelling that contrasts with the light tones of the house to create a relaxed atmosphere and good energy. Entrance to the house is via the ground floor where you will find three of the four bedrooms. There are three luxurious bathrooms, a living room, deck, pool (including baby pool) and spa also on this level. You can also access the lower, fenced rear garden from here. Upstairs you will find the open plan kitchen, dining and main living area with a stunning view of the ocean. There is a large 180 degree deck and fourth bedroom on this level also. On the lower floor there are laundry facilities and an extra toilet and shower.

The kitchen is sleek and sophisticated with dishwasher, microwave, oven andcooktop and a double door integrated fridge. There is a dining table to seat ten.

The upstairs living room has a modern gas fireplace, comfy couch and spectacular views of the ocean. There are blinds to provide privacy at night and glass doors that opento the entertainment decks.

Re bedding, one of the bedrooms (bedroom 4 on the floor plan) can be made up as 2 x long singles instead of a king bed. Please request this when making booking.

** WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it? **

This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. You will also have complimentary access to Foxtel, including the sport package and Netflix.

Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

** What about outdoors? **

There is a large 180 degree outdoor entertaining deck off the upstairs living area with outdoor lounges, dining table for 6-8 and views over Werri Beach. Downstairs is the pool and spa. There are two sun lounges and chairs on the deck next to the pool. Please be aware that the pool is accessed directly from the downstairs living room. The spa can also be accessed from the main bedroom deck. Children must be supervised at all times.The door from the living room to the pool can be locked for peace of mind.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

The Deck has ducted heating and cooling in all rooms, as well as ceiling fans in all bedrooms. There is a gas fireplace in the living room for the cooler months.

The Deck has solar heating only for the pool – not electric or gas heating.  The pool will only be as warm as the weather permits and no assurances whatsoever can be given by us or the owner as to the pool temperature.  Please be aware of this.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Pillows, blankets, doonas, luxury linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

Secure open air parking on the driveway for one car. There are also parking spots across the road on the street.

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.

THE POTTERY COTTAGE, Alpine, Southern Highlands – 4pm Check Out Sundays!

The Pottery Cottage started life as a pottery studio bu has been lovingly converted into a comfortable, characterful cottage. There are two bedrooms, each with ensuite and bedding for 5 guests. The design of the living area and bedrooms makes extensive use of beautiful timber cladding and a double height ceiling with exposed timber joists. During the colder months, the fireplace makes this a wonderful cozy place to be.

** Where will I be? **

Pottery Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 40 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

** Why choose The Pottery Cottage? **

The Pottery Cottage is a charming and comfortable base from which to explore the Southern Highlands. Set amongst beautiful gardens and removed from other cottages on the property, Pottery Cottage feels like a secluded and comfortable getaway.

** How is the property laid out? **

The Pottery Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a charming country kitchen and dining area. The front door opens into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The bedrooms are at each end of the cottage, with the living area in the middle. Outside is a courtyard with barbeque and seating for six.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it? **

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. Lavender Cottage is a beautiful home located on 40 acres of gardens and bush in Alpine, Southern Highlands. The timber floorboards and exposed roof beams give this property a wonderful country feel. You will not miss out on modern conveniences however, with a large modern kitchen, flat screen televisions and air conditioning upstairs. This home sleeps up to 14 people across 4 bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms. Children are well catered for with large lawns and gardens to explore and even a tree house. Lavender House is a charming and spacious base for enjoying all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.

ELLENGOWAN FULL HOUSE, Foxground, Gerringong- 4pm check out Sundays!

Relax around the pool or on the spacious deck while breathing in the fresh air at this Foxground property set on acreage halfway between Berry and the beach. The swimming pool and fireplaces make this the ideal house for family entertaining and relaxing.

** Please note – **

Ellengowan is ideally suited for a large family gathering, or two families going away together. Groups of ten or more adults may be permitted, but only once we have an understanding of the age, nature and make up of the group. Party groups, bucks, hens or other rowdy gatherings are definitely not permitted at Ellengowan – sorry.

There is an unfenced creek on the property, small children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Friendly horses live in a paddock near the entry to the property you are welcome to pat them, but please keep gates closed at all times.

Ellengowan is located in the beautiful rural valley of Foxground. The property is private and secluded but only a 15 minute drive away from Gerringong’s shops, cafes and Werri Beach.

Ellengowan is the perfect property for those that want to relax surrounded by nature! The house has a warm, cozy, country feel and is perfect for two families. There is plenty of room to explore, play and relax.

** How is the property laid out? **

Ellengowan is a single level farmhouse suitable for ten adults and four children. There are three king rooms, one double room, one queen room and twochildren’s rooms, with two single beds, one of the children’s rooms can also be used as a play room with a selection of games and toys. There are three bathrooms all with vanity, shower and toilet and one with a claw foot bathtub.

Ellengowan has two living areas, the first has four comfortable sofas, a wood fireplace, flat screen TV and sliding doors that open to the deck. The main living area has a flat screen TV, twosofas and is divided from the dining room by a double sided wood fireplace. In the dining area there is a huge timber table with seating for 16. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooktop, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger and a servery window leading out to second living room. There is also a laundry with dryer, second fridge, washing machine and sink.

Step down five steps to another level of the deck with a firepit overlooking the creek. There is also a vegetable garden, trampoline and children’s swing on a tree.

Ellengowan has three wood fireplaces to keep you cozy in winter. There are ceiling fans in some bedrooms and portable fans provided to keep you cool in summer.

Just over an hours drive from Sydney, Alpine Lodge is the perfect luxury country getaway. Set on 22 acres, this architecturally designed home boasts beautiful bush views and luxurious modern amenities. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen and generous living spaces, Alpine Lodge can accommodate up to 10 people.

** Where will I be? **

Alpine Lodge is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Mittagong. Bowral is a 15 minute drive away. This is the perfect location for those who want a secluded retreat to come home to after a day enjoying all the Southern Highlands has to offer.

Enter via the side door off the carport into the fully equipped laundry with washing machine, dryer and plenty of storage. This space doubles as a mudroom with shower, vanity & WC at the far end.

Continue through the impressive kitchen with induction stove, Miele oven, steamer, heat tray, microwave (4 in 1 unit), double drawer dishwasher, fridge, caesarstone benchtops, bar stools.

From the kitchen the property opens up into a spacious casual dining/living room with floor to ceiling glass doors that open onto a massive paved outdoor terrace. The lounge faces a gorgeous sandstone feature wall. Take the steps beside the sandstone feature wall to enter the rumpus room with 2 seater lounge, wall mounted big screen TV. Also on this level is a bathroom, & two bedrooms one with a queen bed and built in, and the other with 2x king singles & built in. There is a glass sliding door out onto a large rear deck where you can overlook the surrounding bushland.

A large foyer with vaulted ceiling that features a white piano is located behind the kitchen wall. Pass through the double doors into the formal dining room and raised formal lounge room which features the double sided fireplace, glass windows that bring light and sunshine indoors and allow guests to enjoy the views. (The hallway in front of the piano leads to the actual front door. The foundations have sunk slightly and the front door is now extremely difficult to open and close hence why we use the side entrance off the carport) At the end of the hallway beside the front door there is another set of white double doors that leads into the spacious home office with a desk. There is a powder room opposite the staircase to the upper level.

Upstairs is a sitting room, home theatre with balcony behind the blackout curtains, and three bedrooms; two with queen beds & built-ins plus access to a balcony. On this level you will also find the master bedroom with king bed, occasional chair by the windows perfect for reading, wall mounted TV, walk in robe, & two way bathroom with underfloor heating, heated towel racks, bath, shower, & vanity.

Alpine Lodge is set on 22 Acres. The house is surrounded by gardens and manicured lawns. Beyond the lawns is bushland which attracts a range of wildlife that can be viewed from the expansive outdoor entertaining area.

There are heated, polished concrete floors throughout the house. Between the formal dining room and the lounge room is a double sided gas fireplace which warms both areas. The ensuite bathroom features underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.

For the warmer months there is reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house.

White Caps is an older style, casual and comfortable beach house that sleeps six and ispriced accordingly. It is a great option for a relaxed, easy going family holiday – with fantastic views and a great location!

** How is the property laid out? **

Enjoy the comfort of this light filled home with lofty, vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork feature walls and carpet underfoot throughout the living area and bedrooms. Purpose built to take advantage of the amazing views and natural sea breeze, this wonderful split level home will not disappoint.

On the entry level are three bedrooms: a queen with ensuite, walk in robe and views over the beach, another queen and a twin room with two single beds. Opposite the twin room is the main family bathroom with generous shower, vanity and toilet.

On the upper level is the open plan living and dining area openout to a deck looking out to the beach. The living areaincorporates a large flat screen TV with DVD player (with a selection of DVDs to suit most ages), and music system. There is a large dining room table, leather lounge and chairs to relax and enjoy the views.

The fully equipped kitchen has an electric wall oven, built in microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and an eat-in breakfast nook.

A staircase leads down to the ground lower level where you will find a spacious games room withdoors to a fenced back garden. There is a playstation with a large selection of games along with a selection of DVDs to keep the kids entertained.

The laundry has a washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities. Another bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet is accessed through the laundry.

Sorry, this property does not provide wifi. Please make alternative arrangements, or plan to switch off and fully relax during your stay!

Upstairs, White Caps has a deck looking out to the ocean, Crooked River and mountains with an outdoor setting and gas barbecue. Downstairs there is a fully fenced back garden with both grassed and paved areas.

This home has recently undergone significant updates. You will find quality linen, a new TV and a new BBQ. All the bedrooms either upstairs or at the back of the house and all living areas are at the front facing the beach. The paved outdoor entertainment nook fronts on to a lovely little garden area where there is a bush track down to the beach.

** How is the property laid out? **

There are three bedrooms, two queens and one with two singles, all with built-ins and ceiling fans, the main also having an en-suite and private balcony. There is a bath and separate laundry, and open plan kitchen and dining that overlooks the slightly sunken lounge. This gives access to the outdoors via a glass sliding door.

** WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This property provides complimentary Netflix and Wi-Fi, and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival emailor will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

** What about outdoors? **

There is a lovely communal garden/lawn just beyond the paved outdoor BBQ area which has an awning. Beyond the lawn is native bush which leads down to the beautiful Hyams Beach. The property has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.
