Kerridancer Cottage is a space to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be within striking distance of the pub and a cafe for the all important caffeine fix! There is plenty of room to cook, eat and relax by the wood burning stove during the cooler nights. The private deck is a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset.
Please note:
- Strictly no parties at this property - please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken
- There is a dam on the property and it is not fenced. Please supervise children at all times
- You may see wild mushrooms around the grounds. These are not for consumption as some may be poisonous
- Next door is the beautiful Kerriedancer House (sleeps 11) that can also be rented. Both properties (House and Cottage) can be booked separately, or as one booking for Kerriedancer Estate sleeping 15
Where will I be?
Kerriedancer Cottage is a 2 minute drive from the town of Exeter. Moss Vale is a 10 minute drive, and Bowral a 20 minute drive away. The wineries, wedding venues and other attractions of the Southern Highlands are all within easy driving distance.

How is the property laid out?
Kerriedancer Cottage has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite with a shower and a toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the main bathroom has a shower, bath and toilet.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. The living area offers plenty of seating, and opens onto the beautiful deck.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
There is a lovely deck that is perfect for eating alfresco or enjoying your morning coffee. The beautiful gardens were established over 50 years ago and there are many different areas to explore, with different plants providing a show each season. The property is just under 25 acres in size, and is a mix of both planted gardens and paddocks with cattle. There is a dam on the property and it is not fenced. Please supervise children at all times. You may also see wild mushrooms around the grounds - these are not for consumption as some may be poisonous.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
There is a fireplace and an electric heater in the lounge room. The bedrooms have oil heaters to keep you warm in the winter. In summer, the windows and doors can be opened to catch the breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Kerriedancer Cottage supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Kerriedancer Cottage has open air parking for one car in front of the cottage.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes! Dogs are welcome to stay at Kerriedancer Cottage subject to the following:
- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture, rugs, or in the bedrooms
- Please bring a dog bed and and food bowls
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
