Sea Magic is a charming, stylish and well appointed beach house with direct access to Hyams Beach. It has sensational views over Jervis Bay, a lovely garden and good off-street parking.

Summer Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Tuesday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Tuesday being the arrival and departure day. Summer Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
An idyllic locale, Sea Magic is a weatherboard cottage located beachside at the southern end of Hyams village and is only a short stroll to the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Why choose Sea Magic?
An original beachside cottage, Sea Magic has sensational views,and is nestled in manicured native gardens that hide a well constructed path leading down to the white sands of Hyams Beach. The property looks directly out towards Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island. A beautiful wood fire is in the living room for those cooler winter nights.
How is the property laid out?
With floor boards throughout, this interesting cottage has an eclectic decor and is well furnished with comfy couches and easy chairs. It is a one level property with an open lounge fronting the beachside deck where the views are nothing short of outstanding. Slip through the curtains from the living area to the master bedroom, which also takes in the same fabulous vista and has access to the deck. The second double bedroom also takes in the view and the sunny third bedroom has two singles. The fourth bedroom is a sleepout detached from the house with two single beds and a small lounge and second TV. The sleep-out has closer access to the second shower and toilet as well as the laundry which is located outside. A hot and cold outdoor shower is also located in between the laundry and annexe to rinse off the sand after your visit to the beach. There is an efficient galley style kitchen with modern appliances and an older style bathroom with some newer features.
The house layout is only suitable for up to four adults and four children.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwith by us or the owner. If internet acess is critical during your stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What about outdoors?
Apart from the huge deck at the front of the house there are more outdoor living spaces; a sunny deck at the rear of the house and a protected side patio with BBQ. For a beach-loving family or a group of close friends this is the ultimate beach shack. Laze on the deck, pop across the sand for a quick dip or for the more energetic perhaps a run or brisk walk along the beach to navy base HMAS Creswell.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Sea Magic is fitted with a fireplace to keep you warm during the cooler months.
What about sheets,towels and other supplies?
Sea Magic supplies linen and bath towels for your stay. Please bring your own beach towels though!
Parking for cars?
There is off street parking for two cars on a circular driveway off Cyrus Street.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sea Magic is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly properties!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Beautiful beach house in idyllic setting

Deck with a view!
melatt - 6th December 2018Great relaxing getaway. Its nothing fancy but its all about location and the view, the deck is the showstopper! We would sit each morning with a cup of tea and listen to the waves and gaze out at the incredible view of blue see, white sand and greenery. The beach is a short stroll down the path and if you do decide to stay in and chill there are plenty of DVDs to choose from. If you are a first time visitor it is important to note that there is no wifi available anywhere, so be prepared to switch off and relax. This home however has better cell reception then the rest of the places.
Epitome of a Beach Holiday Home
Molly30 - 19th April 2018Absolute epitome of what you would expect a Beach holiday home to be. We seriously couldn't have found anything better. Big spacious decks that overlook the incredible white sand and beautiful blue ocean. Open spaces inside and airy spaciou rooms with beautiful views. Perfect for a family wanting to get away and spend some real quality time together. The house was beautiful and we loved the fact that it hadn't been "modernized" the decor was so relaxing and beachy and we loved everything about it, we certainly felt like we were home. The kids loved the fact we had our own little path down to the beach and the wildlife was amazing. We had a friendly kookubara visit us daily, a giant Kangaroo hang out on the lawn at night and we watched numerous pods of dolphins swim past. Staying here is a must!!!!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Couldn't get enough of the beautiful beach at our back door, sunrises and lying in bed watching the moon rising over the bay. Stunning! Thank you Hyams Beach. Great house, lots of room for the family and extended family.
