This beach house has well designed indoor/outdoor living areas and can comfortably accommodate two families or a group of friends. The view is amazing, and the location is perfect with Hyams Beach being only 300 metres away and the cafe just 100 metres.

Where will I be?
The Lookout at Hyams is just a 300m walk to the main entrance of the world famous Hyams Beach! It is positioned at the lower end of Booderee Avenue, which is in the centre of Hyams. The cafe is easily accessible for a quick coffee or lazy lunch and both Chinamans Beach and the playground are a short stroll away.

The Lookout at Hyams Beach has an elevated position allows views all over Jervis Bay. The deck is made for sitting and basking in your incredible surrounds!
How is the property laid out?
A front entrance and small staircase leads to a restful master bedroom with ensuite, followed by the main level of the house which has open plan kitchen and dining, three additional bedrooms and fantastic views! Another few steps takes you up into the large open plan living area and designer kitchen with ocean views from every window - just step through the glass doors onto the wrap around deck to soak up the sun or enjoy a cool breeze while taking in the magnificent panorama. The house is decorated in a contemporary style with a fresh cool decor and simple modern furnishings. It is well equipped with quality appliances and includes gas heating, BBQ, ceiling fans and a large laundry. The main bathroom has a huge walk-in shower plus a luxurious tub and separate toilet. Also on this level are three queen bedrooms and a small sitting area opening onto a deck and the garden at the rear of the house.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
The Lookout at Hyams Beach provides a marvelous deck with sweeping views of Jervis Bay. Make the most of the outdoor shower near the back deck after you have spent time at the beach. There is also an open back lawn to run around on.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, luxury linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is a double undercover carport and room to also park on the driveway if required.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
The Lookout at Hyams Beach is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
The Lookout at Hyams Beach is supplied with multiple electric heaters, a gas heater, as well as ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and in the living area. Given its elevation, the house can also be opened up to catch any available sea breeze.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Wonderful stay at Hyam’s Beach

Great location, 1 minute walk to the coffee shop and then a short stroll to the beach. The property was clean and well equipped. Such a relaxing space, thank you for sharing your property with us!
Lovely large property with beautiful views

The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all the platters, cooking utensils and equipment you could need. Would definitely stay again.

Klinsi18 - 5th April 2018The location of The Lookout can't be beat with a caf a few steps away and beach access no more than 5 minutes stroll. The house is neat and very clean and well stocked with utensils/pots/pans/good size fridge/washer/dryer etc. Agree with other reviewers regarding the size of the bbq which is a tad on the small size. The layout was practical with living areas (kitchen/lounge/balcony)on the one level and the 4 bedrooms on the same level. There are a number of stairs to be mindful of if you have young kids/elderly guests. The bedrooms are good size and beds are somewhat comfortable. The two bathrooms were spacious and appear to have been renovated recently. Just note that the driveway is a on slope which may be a challenge to park trailers etc. There really isn't street parking available next to the house, but there is across the road. On the whole, our party had a great time at The Lookout and will certainly be there again soon. Our dealings with The Holidays Collection was also a pleasure, so we would recommend using them for rentals down south coast.

Breath taking views
TheChungs - 14th June 2016We have been coming to Hyams beach for almost 10 years now and have stay in a few property around Hyams Beach ."The Lookout" would be our favorite property to stay in . House is absolutely stunning with a breath taking view of JB . Spacious large 4 bedroom and very well furnished. A short walk to Hyams Beach and coffee shop. A large selections of games books DVDs to keep you entertainment during those rainy days . Would definitely recommend.
Great accommodation
Nia N - 2nd March 2016Booderee 6 was a great holiday house with stunning water views from the deck and within walking distance to Hyams and Chinamans beach. The house itself was in great condition; clean, comfortable beds and very well kept. It also housed lots of DVDs and board games which entertained us during a rainy day. The only negative we had with it was the quality of cookware and utensils available - they were old and rusty which made it difficult to cook with. They had a large collection of dinnerware but some were either also rusted or not cleaned properly, but other than this, everything else was great.
