Vue de La Mer is a modern, two storey beach house in Gerroa with beautiful views over Seven Mile Beach and the estuary. With four bedrooms, this Gerroa home sleeps up to 8 people in style and comfort. Seven Mile Beach is a short walk away, as is the acclaimed Blue Swimmer Cafe, perfect for a morning coffee, lunch or romantic evening meal.

Please note that this is not a party house and we have zero tolerance for party groups. Party groups will be evicted in accordance with our terms and conditions. Appropriate groups of family and friends are otherwise welcome at this lovely property.

** Where will I be? **

Vue de La Mer is well located in Gerroa, overlooking Seven Mile Beach and the Crooked River Estuary. The beach access points are about 300 metres away, on foot. The village of Gerroa is at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach and the towns of Gerringong, Kiama and Berry are just a short drive.

** Why choose Vue de la Mer? **

** How is the property laid out? **

Vue de La Mer is a two level home with lovely views from the upper level of Seven Mile Beach and the Crooked River estuary. Set on a sloping block, you enter into the top level which features the master bedroom with ensuite, open plan kitchen, dining and living area, and the spacious deck. The gas BBQ is located on the upstairs deck. Downstairs you will find the other 3 bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and the laundry. There is also a second deck area downstairs that leads onto the lawn.

The kitchen has a Nespresso coffee pod machine.

** Wi-Fi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it? **

This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.

Please note however that we or the owner cannot guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

** What about outdoors? **

There is a large upstairs deck area with bbq and dining setting. Downstairs is a separate deck area and small lawn – fully fenced. Seven Mile Beach is an easy 5 minute walk away.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

There is ducted reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house – for both heating and cooling.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

Vue de La Mer has a double garage for guest use, as well as parking on the driveway for one vehicle. Parking on the street is possible, but not advisable as traffic can get busy on certain days.

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.

LAVENDER COTTAGE, Alpine, Southern Highlands – 4pm Check Out Sundays!

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful home located on 40 acres of gardens and bush in Alpine, Southern Highlands. The timber floorboards and exposed roof beams give this property a wonderful country feel. You will not miss out on modern conveniences however, with a large modern kitchen, flat screen televisions and air conditioning upstairs. This home sleeps up to 14 people across 4 bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms. Children are well catered for with large lawns and gardens to explore and even a tree house. Lavender House is a charming and spacious base for enjoying all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.

** Where will I be? **

Lavender Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 42 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. There are two other cottages as well as the Angas Carriage in immediate proximity to your cottage so please do expect to occasionally see your neighbours. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

A visit to the Southern Highlands is all about experiencing beautiful countryside, sitting around a cosy fireplace, driving through working farms, and if you are lucky, staying in an older style, traditional home. Lavender Cottage is such a home, however it has been carefully updated to provide modern comforts while maintaining its historic charm.

** How is the property laid out? **

Lavender Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a large living area with slow combustion wood heater and flat screen television. The first floor also contains a large, fully equipped country style kitchen, dining area that seats 10, laundry, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Upstairs is the fourth bedroom with ensuite. Outside is an undercover entertaining area with large table and bbq. The house is surrounded by lawns and gardens to explore and play in.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it? **

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

** What about outdoors? **

Lavender Cottageis surrounded by lawns and gardens that are open for guests to use. The house is part of a larger 40 acre property which includes bush trails for guests to explore. Please be aware that there is an unfenced dam on the property so children must be supervised at all times.

** Keeping warm or keeping cool?! **

Lavender Cottagehas a slow combustion fireplace downstairs. Upstairs is a reverse cycle air conditioner. There are ceiling fans in all downstairs bedrooms.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

High quality sheets and towels are provided at Lavender House.

Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Regarding food, condiments and the like, please plan to bring everything you need. For safety and hygiene reasons, our houses generally do not supply food items.

CHESTNUT TREES, Burrawang – 4pm check out Sundays

Chestnut Trees is a beautiful, architect designed home, set on 2 acres and within walking distance of Burrawang’s cafe, pub and main street. The home has a separate master bedroom wing, cathedral ceilings, generous open plan living areas, plenty of natural light, and beautiful trees and gardens (including of course Chestnut Trees!). It is a perfect, stylish and quintessential Southern Highlands getaway for 6!

** Where will I be? **

Chestnut Trees is located in Burrawang Village, within walking distance of the pub, General Store Cafe, the renowned Maugers Meats butcher, and many historic buildings in the main street. Burrawang is arguably one of the prettiest villages in the Southern Highlands, and is close enough to also be a base for any event or wedding in Bowral, Mittagong or Moss Vale. Robertson town is also only a 5 minute drive away.

** Why choose Chestnut Trees? **

Chestnut Trees oozes style, grace, and tranquility. The home is architect designed and that is evident in the space, flow and natural light of the house. The gardens and lawns are beautiful, and you are able to walk to Burrawang village. The vehicle access road that you will use – Harman Street – is also a quiet cul de sac with no through traffic at all.

** How is the property laid out? **

Chestnut Trees is all on one level and as per the floor plan has a living / dining / kitchen wing, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom as a second wing, and a master bedroom with en-suite, second kitchenette and second living room as a third wing.

There is also an internal laundry, large pantry, entry hallway and use of a lock up garage.

The kitchen is equipped with an espresso machine that requires ground coffee and has a milk steamer. Please clean it properly after use for the benefit of the next guest.

** WiFi, Internet, Netflix and Pay TV – will I have it? **

Chestnut Trees has complimentary WiFi. Whilst the service is generally reliable, it cannot be 100% guaranteed and no compensation will be paid if wifi is faulty.If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.

** What about outdoors? **

Chestnut Trees has plenty of outdoor options – a BBQ area, beautiful lawn areas and plenty of trees and garden areas to explore! There is also a shortcut path behind the hedge at the garage which takes you down the hill, across a timber walkway and up to Burrawang village along an extension of George Street. There is no need to walk along Harman Street to get to town!

Chestnut Trees has ducted central heating and airconditioning in two wings of the house, and a split system airconditioner in the third wing. The house can also be opened up to let in fresh highlands air – especially the living room!

A lovely, spacious house surrounded on all sides by beautiful gardens which were home to adorable bunnies. The interiors of the house are just as lovely as they are pictured, and the surrounds are even nicer than they seemed in photos. We had a fantastic and relaxing time in this house – there is enough room for everyone to spread out. It is an easy walk to the Burrawang Village Hotel and General Store which are the only options for dinner and breakfast, made even nicer by a small trail and boardwalk accessed at the back of the property which cuts out quite a bit of road. It’s worth remembering there are no shops in town besides the cafe and pub so bring everything you need with you. We’ve already recommended this beautiful house to friends and family and plan to return ourselves.

Wembley House, Southern Highlands – with 4pm Check Out Sunday!

Wembley is a one of a kind in the Southern Highlands – a historic, stylish and captivating home set amongst an oasis of landscaped gardens. The home has soaring 3 metre ceilingsand incorporatesreclaimed doors and stained glass windows from theQueen Victoria Building and Carrington Hotel! Wembley is set on 11 acres and has an incredible array of features:pool and spa, luxurious pool cabana with its own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, adjoining indoor-outdoor entertaining area that combines the best of a shearing shed, sports bar and BBQ, a half basketball court, trampoline, herb garden, chicken run, farm animals, and plenty ofparking for guests! Wembley is therefore a perfect retreat and is located just west of Berrima town – an easy drive to cafes, restaurants, wedding venues, wineries and the like.

** Please note **
Whilst groups of up to 11 are welcome, Wembley is not available for rowdy bachelor parties. Wembley has an on-site caretaker who looks after the property and farm animals and can assist with any queries you might have whilst staying. His residence is private and away from the house and pool house.

** Sunday Brunches **
Wembley is available to be booked for post wedding brunches. The 11 in house guests + an additional 30 guests may attend the brunch. This is entirely on a “Do It Yourself” basis. Wembley is unable to provide catering, cutlery, crockery etc for the brunch. The cost of hosting a brunch is an additional $1,450 and must be arranged with us at the time of booking or prior to your stay. The on site caretaker will monitor use of the property for brunches, and we will ensure payment for that.

** Where will I be? **
Wembley is situated in Medway, to the west of historic Berrima. It is close enough to town to be an easy drive for coffee or a meal, but far enough out to truly feel away from it all. This is an ideal property for guests attending a wedding in the Southern Highlands as The Bendooley, Centennial, Eling Forest, The Loch and Artemis Estates are all within easy driving distance.

A long private 50m driveway reveals this beautiful property with manicured lawns and fountain. Enter through the ornate leadlight doorway and you are greeted by the formal parlour room. In the main house there are 3 bedrooms, a queen, a queen with 2 singles and a master bedroom with a king and a single. Shared by these bedrooms there is a truly exceptional family bathroom; an entirely open travertine tiled wet room with a feature reclaimed stained glass window from the Carrington Hotel, ornamental fireplace and a freestanding claw and ball bathtub. There is also a laundry in this section of the home with a washer, dryer, toilet and basin.

The heart of the house is the large kitchen with stained glass windows featuring a 5 burner range cooker, European appliances, granite bench tops and garden views. The large open plan living/dining area enjoys a large open fire, comfortable lounges and an antique French rectory dining table. Further to this, is the informal children’s lounge, with additional TV, Wii and retro arcade games machine. The second family bathroom is accessed via the children’s lounge, featuring a walk-in shower and a free standing claw and ball bath tub.

Across the lawn lies another real treat; a large covered entertainment area decorated in True Blue Aussie style – complete with bar, bar fridge, dart board,large gas barbecue, ping pong table and an outdoor TV! Adjacent to this games area is the pool house with queen bed, separate lounge and a full kitchen with bi-fold windows that open to the undercover bar area – even the chef won’t feel left out!

Wembley is set on 11 acres. At the front of the property there are beautiful lawns, an ornate fountain and a basketball court. To the rear of the home is a covered entertaining deck and open lawn area with a trampoline.The lawn leads to a paddock and children will love visiting the chickens, alpacas and resident pony! The covered bar area opens to a full kitchen garden (help yourself!) and the 12m pool with in-built heated spa.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **
The main house has floor ducted heating and cooling throughout plus underfloor heating in the bathrooms and kitchen. The main lounge has a large open fireplace. The pool house has underfloor heating in the bedroom and bathroom and a gas fire in the lounge (but no airconditioning).

Pillows, blankets, duvets, linen, bath towels and pool towels are all provided at this property.

2 covered car ports are available for guests to use and further parking is available on the driveway or the half basketball court. Please do NOT park on the other lawn areas as there are irrigation and sprinkler systems that can be damaged by vehicles.

Kangaroos and wombats frequently visit the property, guests are reminded that these are wild animals and not to approach them.

The pizza oven and adjacent BBQs are not available for guests’ use.

The trampoline is used entirely at your own risk.

The pool is accessed via multiple gates and is fully compliant with NSW regulations. Please note, however, one of the pool gates is the large corrugated iron barn door in the bar area and therefore must be latched at all times.

Wembley is looked after by a caretaker who lives on the property. However you are assured of complete privacy as the property is not overlooked by the caretaker’s residence.

Relax and enjoy the best that Jervis Bay has to offer from this five bedroom home that sleeps 14 people comfortably. Ideally located across the road from the shopping precinct,a short walk to Collingwood Beach and views of the bay – you won’t need much else for your stay! Upstairs you walk into the open plan living area with spacious kitchen, generous lounge and the dining area, from which you access the large, north facing balcony. The 3 bedrooms upstairs all have queen beds, and the second bathroom.

VIEWTOPIA, Gerroa – 4pm check out Sundays!

Viewtopia is a large beach house with stunning views, within easy walking distance of the beach at Gerroa. It is a majestic, imposing, comfortable and very well equipped home – offering the best of views, style, space and proximity to the water!

** Where will I be? **

Viewtopia is located in a perfect spot on Stafford Street, Gerroa – only a 150m walk from the sand. The home looks straight along Seven Mile Beach to the south, with a commanding, elevated position.

** Why choose Viewtopia? **

Viewtopia has it all – 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, wifi, qualitiy linen and guest amenities, fantastic outdoor areas, views, walk to the beach and more. The home is also very well equipped, serviced and maintained – as per the photos!

** How is the property laid out? **

As seen in the floorplan provided, Viewtopia is a 3 level home, entered from the lower level and up a flight of stairs to the main living area.

The main living area has an open plan dining / lounge and kitchen that spills out onto a large terrace. An internal laundry, bathroom, pantry, one bedroom and a back verandah are also found on this level. The bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe with hanging and shelf space. The bed is super comfortable and is made up with Sheridan linen, four pillows, a doona and a spare fleecy blanket.

The upper level has an en-suite master bedroom plus two additional bedrooms, another large deck area and a shared bathroom. The three upstairs bedrooms have beautiful ocean views, queen sized beds and wardrobes with hanging and drawer space. Each bed is super comfortable and is fully made up with Sheridan linen, four pillows, a doona and a spare fleecy blanket. Each bedroom also has two side tables and reading lamps.

** Special information – the painting in the living room **

The painting above the fireplace is by local artist Kristal del Villar. It is called Cabbage Trees on Rose Valley Road. ** WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it? **

The house has complimentary NBN wifi, details of which will be provided in your pre-arrival email. The smart TV is connected to the internet. Netflix, ABC iView and SBS on demand are accessible through the TV. There is only one remote control so please leave it on the TV standfor the next guest.

If you want to go analog, there is also an assortment of books, games, puzzles and playing cards for use during your stay. And for music, there is a Bose Bluetooth speaker on the kitchen bench.

** What about outdoors? **

Viewtopia has a lot of outdoor furniture so guests can relax and make the most of the balconies on both floors. The house has a WeberBBQ.

On the main floor balcony there is an outdoor dining table with eight chairs, an outdoor lounge and a coffee table. Please put all the outdoor lounge cushions inside the main house at night. It often rains overnight in Gerroa and it is hard to dry and clean wet cushions – thanks!

On the upper floor balcony there is a smaller table with two chairs and two banana lounges with cushions. Again please put the cushions inside at night.

Tranquility is a single storey home on an acreage surrounded by trees.There are four bedrooms, one with a king bed, chaise lounge, TV, electric log fireplace and ensuite bathroom;one with a queen bed; one with two single beds and a fourth bedroom located in the separate garden room across the lawn, about 20 paces from the main house. This room has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom.

There are three bathrooms, an ensuite to the king room with marble bath surround, vanity and toilet, the main bathroom with shower, vanity and separate toilet and second ensuite in the garden room withpolished concrete flooring, shower, vanity and toilet.

There is a gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, double oven, hotplates, and coffee machine withs ome pods provided. The large open plan timber floored living and dining area has a wood fireplace, flat screen TV with Foxtel and sliding doors that open to the beautiful back garden. The Lookout is split over multiple levels, as follows:

Street level – with views everywhere as you approach! Please note the driveway gradient is steep. The house can be entered either via the garage, or via a pathway that leads from the street to the front door on the main living area of the house.

Main living area – this level has lovely windows that take in the views and give plenty of natural light. You will find the master queen bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, with bath tub and shower, the front door, a lounge area with fireplace, the dining table, the kitchen, and and outdoor deck which has a table and gas BBQ.

Mid level – this level has two semi-partitionedbedrooms, with a king single in each andtwo king single trundles underneath them both. There is also a shared bathroom with bath tub and shower, another good sized living area, and an internal laundry. A second deck adjoins the one bedroom and the living area.

Bottom level – the bottom level of the house has a third living area with tv, one king bedroom and the fourth bedroom with two single beds. The Elms is an expansive 5 bedroom country home all on one level, with 3 living rooms and a spacious open plan kitchen/dining space that forms the heart of the house.

Entry through the foyer leads into the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. The kitchen features double oven and a 5 x induction cooktop, a butler’s pantry including a dedicated drinks fridge and a large breakfast bar. The dining space has a beautiful timber table that extends to seat 6 to 12 ideal for entertaining! The dining area then flows to a TV lounge area. At the northern end of the house is the largest of the bedrooms. 2 steps lead down to bedroom 5, the perfect teenager or young family retreat or with 4 king singles; this room opens on to its own patio area overlooking the lawn and gardens. Adjacent to which is the spacious formal lounge with fire place.

Access from both the foyer and the garage flow to the eastern end of the home where you will find a further four bedrooms, the family lounge and the study/nursery room. The timber floored family lounge has a fire place, smart TV with Foxtel and DVD player. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, overlooks the garden and has its own ensuite with built in robe.
