The Shed is the perfect getaway for any time of year. In Summer enjoy the NEWplunge pool and sea breezes, while in Winter soak in the northern sun by day and enjoy the cosy open fireplace by night. The expansive outdoor grounds are perfect for family fun year round.
The Shed celebrates an industrial aesthetic with magnificent five and a half metre high ceilings, polished concrete floors and many unique details throughout.
** How is the property laid out? **
The Shed is single level with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master king bedroom has views to Walker’s Beach with an ensuite with bath and deluxe bathrobes. The queen bedroom has French doors opening onto the garden, and the bunkroom has two sets of bunk beds (four single beds), lounge, smart TV with Netflix, and DVD player, Sony Playstation, games and plenty of room for the kids to play.
The main living area features an open plan lounge and dining area capturing the magnificent farm and ocean views with a galley kitchen. This flows onto the northern lawn and covered eastern terrace.The dining table seats ten comfortably and is separated from the lounge by an impressive double-sided wood fireplace.The industrial style galley kitchen has everything you should need including Nespresso coffee machine. The breezeway space features a four metre glass fold up door and sliding wall to truly make this an exceptional indoor/outdoor space – whatever the season.
** WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it? **
Complimentary WI-FI is now available at The Shed and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
** What about outdoors? **
The Shed is surrounded by 100 acres of lush green farmland. Take in the views while enjoying the NEW plunge pool. Dine alfresco at the outdoor table for 10. Disconnect while you lounge around the firepit and watch the kids climb trees, play on the swings and explore!
** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **
The double sided industrial open wood fireplace is a stand out and central to the living space, with ceiling fans in the living/dining/kitchen.All bedrooms have ceiling fans and electric heaters. There is also a large gas heater in the breezeway and the bathrooms enjoy radiant heaters.
** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **
All linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
** Parking for cars, boats etc? **
There is off street parking for 4 cars.
** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **
Sorry, this property is not pet friendly.
** What are the minimum stay rules? **
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
** Are there any special Peak Season rules? **
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
** Who will I be dealing with during my stay? **
