Normandie Park is a 207 acre working cattle farm, set in the green pastures of Exeter and featuring a stunning modernist home. The home was built in 1962 by renowned architects Allen Jack + Cottier. Built in the modernist pavilion style, it is surrounded by established gardens and paddocks filled with grazing cattle. Large windows in every room bring in views of the gardens and pastures, giving you a wonderful sense of place. The lounge room opens onto a large verandah, a perfect space to sit and enjoy the country atmosphere. During the colder months you can relax in front of the fireplace. Outside you can walk the grounds, explore the established gardens and view the grazing angas steers. When you stay at Normandie Park you will get a unique taste of Southern Highlands rural life, without being too far from the shops, restaurants and cafes of the surrounding townships.

**Where will I be?**

Normandie Park is a 5 minute drive from the town of Exeter. Moss Vale is a 10 minute drive, and Bowral a 25 minute drive away. The St. Maur and Sally’s Corner vineyards are just down the road. The wineries, wedding venues and other attractions of the Southern Highlands are all within easy driving distance.

**How is the property laid out?**

You approach the house up a long driveway that winds its way past cow paddocks and underneath long established trees. When you arrive at the house, you enter through the large front door into the entry foyer. Turning left off the foyer takes you to four of the five bedrooms, two with ensuite. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. Turning right off the entry foyer takes you into the large living room with lounges, large television, fireplace and stunning views over the established gardens. Adjoining the living room is the dining room with a large dining table. There is a large, modern kitchen fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. The kitchen opens onto an internal courtyard with bbq and outdoor dining table. Moving past the kitchen you will find two more bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite, and the laundry with washer and dryer.

**Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it?**

This property does have Wi-Fi. A username and password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.

Normandie Park is a working cattle farm with extensive grounds. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and lawns surrounding the house.

The property consists of 7 unique cottages set on 40 acres of lawn, gardens, waterways and bush. When you book the entire property you have exclusive access to all 7 cabins, giving you 20 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, enough to accommodate up to 47 people. A number of the cottages are pet friendly and the extensive outdoor area make this an ideal location for outdoor activities. You can even meet the resident Shetland ponies and alpacas.

All of the cottages are linked by a drive way that winds its way through the bush and gardens. Lavender Cottage, Studio Cottage, Orchard Cottage, Pottery Cottage and Angas Carriage are all in close proximity to each other and form the central focus point of the property. Eco Cottage are Oatley Cottage are slightly removed from the other cottages and provide a little more privacy for occupants.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it? **This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

** What about outdoors? **

There are 40 acres of gardens and bush for guests to enjoy. There are bush trails which make accessing the bush very pleasant. There are two Shetland ponies, Bootie and Trumbie, and two alpacas, Augustine and Freda on the property for you to meet. Most of the cottages have generous verandahs or courtyards with barbeques and outdoors seating.

All cottages are heated, either by fireplace or electric radiator or, in some cases, both. Some cottages have air conditioning, and those that dont have fans.

The Tor, Southern Highlands – 4pm Check Out Sundays

The Tor is an older style, classic Southern Highlands cottage. It is set on 25 peaceful acres, surrounded by seasonal gardens with many secret pockets! The house has been decorated in a period style, and is full of character, comfort and style – true to the photos. Beautiful Burrawang Village, Belmore Falls and Fitzroy Falls are all easy drives from The Tor – making it a great base from which to explore this beautiful district of NSW!

** Where will I be? **

The Tor is located on the Southern Side of Burrawang, in a very pretty rural community – dominated by working potato farms and private weekenders. The property is very well located vis a vis two famous waterfalls in the area: Belmore Falls and Fitzroy Falls. Burrawang and Robertson are also very close by. Burrawang has a lovley country pub, great cafes, a traditional butcher, gentrified general store and the famous Easter Saturday markets!

Indicative distances are:2.5 km to Burrawang General Store, 8km to Robertson, 9 km to Fitzroy Falls, 17km to Moss Vale, 20 km to Bowral, 25 km to Kangaroo Valley, 125 km to Sydney.

A visit to the Southern Highlands is all about experiencing beautiful countryside, sitting around a cosy fireplace, driving throughworking farms, and if you are lucky, staying in an older style, traditional home. ** How is the property laid out? **

The house is all on one level. You enter via a small glass conservatory, into the dining area and kitchen – both in a classic, traditional style. The house then has an internal laundry, three bedrooms, a traditional lounge room and one shared bathroom. All three bedrooms open onto the wrap around verandah.

** WIFI, internet, Netflix or pay tv- will I have it? **

The Tor has Foxtel and a DVD player. Re wifi,The Tor provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. During the cooler months and winter, the house has a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area, an open fire place in the lounge, column heaters throughout and electric blankets on the beds. Sleeping six, this is a clean, stylish and immaculate cottage located only a stones throw from Hyams Beach.

** Where will I be? **

Mermaid Cottage is on a corner block in a quiet pocket of Hyams. It is located 100 metres from Little Hyams Beach and an easy five minute walk to the Hyams Beach Cafe.

This weatherboard cottage is charming with modern features and plenty of light. It has an open plan dining and kitchen with plenty of room to entertain. The wrap around verandah is perfect for sitting back with a book, watching the bird life and enjoying the day. Its proximity to the beach is unbeatable.

** How is the property laid out? **

Mermaid Cottage has three bedrooms; two large dormer style rooms upstairs, one large queen bedroom with walk in robe and another generous bedroom with two king single beds. Downstairs is another queen bedroom with built in robe. It has a fully equipped kitchen andEuropean laundry with washer and dryer. Downstairs has a separate lounge, open plan dining and kitchen area and a modern bathroom with a shower / bath. Majestic Couple’s Retreat is a stylish, well appointed and spacious couples only retreat – perfect for a romantic getaway. It has a king bed, bathroom to die for, large deck with BBQ, and private access to the Palm Beach waterfront. The trendy Greville Avenune Store & Cafe is also an easy walk down the road, and the eateries of Huskisson and Vincentia are an easy drive from the house.

Please be aware that 210 Greville is split into two levels – the Couple’s Retreat upstairs, and a 3 bedroom unit downstairs. Each unit has its own private access from the street, private deck and BBQ, and private access to the beach.

Majestic Couple’s Retreat is located in a prime strip of houses on Greville Avenue, with private access to the Palm Beach waterfront. There are many attractions and amenities nearby – The St Georges Basin Club and golf course, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach and the beautiful Booderee National Park. That is assuming you will want to leave the place once you settle in. You may just choose to relax and only walk to the nearby Greville Avenue Store & Cafe!

Majestic Couple’s Retreat exudes style and comfort, and has tranquil views of the St Georges Basin – accessed via private stairs to the beach. It is therefore a perfect couples only getaway – fully equipped and supplied with quality furnishings, linen and towels!

Majestic Couple’s Retreat has a ground floor entrance foyer, with private stairs leading up to the unit upstairs. Kookaburra House at Vincentia – 4pm Check Out Sundays

Kookaburra House is a great family and pet friendly beach house, with a large rear garden and direct access through a waterfront reserve to beautiful Nelson Beach. It sleeps 12 and has good open plan living and deck areas.

** Where will I be? **

Kookaburra House is very well located. It has direct access to Nelson Beach along a pretty bush track that leads away from the rear garden gate, and is an easy walk to Blenheim, Greenfields or even Hyams Beach. The Vincentia shops are also only a short drive from the house.

** Why choose Kookaburra House? **

Kookaburra House has a lovely back garden, perfect for the kids or if you bring along the family pet. It is also spacious, comfortable and well appointed – a quintessential family beach house.

** How is the property laid out? **

Kookaburra House is a two-storey home with two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan kitchen / dining living area upstairs plus two bedrooms and a laundry and second bathroom downstairs. The upstairs living area connects to a good sized deck that overlooks the rear garden and waterfront reserve, whilst downstairs, the third bedroom and entry hall connect to a large patio. The back garden is fully fenced with a gate that joins the track that leads directly to Nelson Beach.

Fibro Majestic at Hyams Beach – 4pm Check Out Sundays

Fibro Majestic is a classic, very affordable, and perfectly located Hyams Beach beach house. It sleeps four and has been tastefully renovated inside. It also has good lawn areas and a lovely front balcony.

** Where will I be? **

Fibro Majestic is located in the heart of Hyams Beach. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the beaches and cafe. Being close to the entrance to Hyams Beach, it’s not difficult to find!

** Why choose Fibro Majestic? **

The cottage provides easy access to the beach and local store + cafe. It is easily identified by its lime green-coloured fibro exterior – hence the name.

** How is the property laid out? **

Fibro Majestic is a cosy, open plan cottage with one bedroom featuring a queen size bed and one bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen comes with all utensils and cooking necessities including an oven, toaster and kettle. An iron and ironing board are on hand if needed. The lounge room is equipped with a TV and DVD set-up for entertainment.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

The bedrooms are configured as one queen room downstairs, and one queen room plus a bunk room upstairs.

This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. Black Wattle has a small back lawn and three separate balconies, perfect for alfresco dining or catching up on some reading. The buck also has a hot and cold water outdoor shower for washing off before re-entering the house after a visit to the beach.

Black Wattle is equipped with a gas heater and two ceiling fans in the lounge / dining area, a moveable electric heater and a pedestal fan. If the house it opened up in summer, it catches any available breeze. The rear courtyard is also north facing so has a good sun aspect.

The Black Shack is in the best location in Hyams Beach. It is merely metres from the sand, with private access from the garden. Spend the evening listening to the waves, and wake each morning to an incredible sunrise over Jervis Bay. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic cooktop, integrated dishwasher and bar fridge with freezer. The open screened master bedroom has a queen bed styled with luxury linen. The small second bedroom with a double bed is accessed via the master or, for greater privacy, from one of the rear decks. The walk-in wet room has floor to ceiling concrete tiles and complimentary Aesop toiletries are provided for guest use, making the Black Shack a truly opulent experience.
