Cosy and comfortable

Great location, a short stroll away from the beach. Little cosy cottage and peaceful. Only comment I would add is, if there was aircon it would have been so much better.

Hyams Beach Cottage

We have been wanting to stay here for many years as we stayed 32 years ago before the cottages were renovated. Our blue cottage - number 5 was very comfortable, in a quiet setting and was beautifully renovated. The only thing we would add is a bit more lighting over the dining area as we ate in the dark. We had cold, wet weather on one day so the electric fire was very cosy to have on for the afternoon. The cafe was virtually across the road and provided some tasty lunches.

Cottage 5 - Absolutely Loved It!!!

From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a great trip! On opening the front door, it was a complete WOW Factor. We loved the quaint cottage. everything about this cottage was Amazing. A huge credit goes out to the cleaning staff. I could not fault a thing. The cottage was incredibly clean. We stayed as some top notch hotels and they don't even come close to the satisfaction we felt with this cottage. The kitchen was well stocked. We are definitely coming back! 😊👍

Such tranquillity

Everything you need. Bed great, shower hot and with great stream, hair shampoo conditioner hand wash all there. Quiet champagne on the deck also great for morning coffee.

Bring to you a resplendence of history of Australian Seamen in their cottages. The midnight tranquility is perfectly seeping into the night. Embellished by the beauty of this purest white beach with Guinness award rating. Spoil yourself till your heart’s content.

Relaxing and Private Stay

The cottage is very cute. The location is excellent and it is very peaceful and private. The wi-fi was good and the shower was powerful and hot. The weather was cold and wet during our stay so we could not take advantage of the outside verandah area, however the “fire-like” heater and additional oil heater proved effective.

The property and location were perfect and we had a great stay. The self check in and check out was awesome and we really appreciated being able to move our dates due to covid travel restrictions.

Charming, blissful, cosy and convenient

The cottage is perfect for weekends away or longer stays. It's compact and cosy, well furnished and feels spacious for a couple. Everything was clean and tidy, plenty of bedding and towels. The balcony outlook and natural surrounds make for a peaceful stay, while the nearby beach and cafe is very convenient. We'll look to stay here in the future, without question.

My partner and I had an amazing little getaway together at cottage 5 - it was so clean, neat and had everything you could possibly need. Being right opposite the beach made it super convenient! We had such a lovely and unforgettable stay here, lots of memories were made and it will be one we remember forever.

Gorgeous Little Hideaway

We recently spent four nights at one of the lovely refurbished c.1926 Hyams Beach Seaside Cottages. The cottage was well laid-out, cosy, well equipped and so very charming, oozing character from a bygone era. It was across the road from Hyams Beach, mere metres to a little cafe, and was the perfect, relaxing hub for our exploration of one of the prettiest gems of the south. A surprise visit of local kangaroos and rainbow lorikeets topped it off. We loved it and look forward to our return.

Lovely Cottage that’s a stones throw away from Hyams Beach

Booked a little get away for my wife and I. Was looking for something in a quite location and very close to the beach. This cottage didn’t disappoint. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable with a car spot. Every afternoon your greeted by the local Rainbow Lorikeets on your balcony and the sound of the sea and the wildlife whilst sitting on the veranda was a highlight. The cottage is close to Hyams Beach Store and Cafe which is great for Breakfast or lunch.

The cottage itself if just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! The location is perfect and so close to so many outstanding beaches. The cottage is quaint and caters perfectly to 2 people, just the right size. I will definitely be back and will also recommend to my friends and family.

Great Location

Our stay here was amazing- it was quiet even though a busy season, my favourite beach to swim, the cottage had all you need (no air con but didnt need it due to ocean breeze), bed and linen well provided. Only thing was the bbq was difficult to start.

We enjoyed our stay in Number 5 thank you. The only concerns we had were: - Broken hinge on bedroom window so unable to open - Cold water tap makes an almighty screech when turned on more than a dribble - several small wear holes on bed linen - broken slats on window coverings

A perfect long weekend retreat. A stones throw from everything Hyams has to offer. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and clean, great spot, loved everything about it! A bit smaller than I expected initially but plenty of space for 2. Turned the tv on briefly and found there wasn’t any reception, but a bbq and sitting on the balcony was more fun and what we came for anyway. Thoroughly enjoyed and was sad to leave.

Picture perfect

We stayed here over Queens Birthday long weekend and had the best time. The cottage is right across from the beach access and you can see the water from it and hear the waves crashing. The cottage has everything you need and was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

The perfect relaxing beach escape

Where to start, loved our morning cuppa on the deck overlooking the ocean and the occasional visit from the wildlife. Loved the quaint, cozy, very clean, and beautifully decorated cottage. If I had to give negative feedback the only thing would be the tv reception wasn't always good.

The cottages are so adorable and cute, however much smaller than we anticipated and I have to say overpriced. Having said that, the cottages are right opposite the beach and perfectly positioned in a wonderful spot. We had a lovely time - thank you

Clean and perfect

The cottage was exactly as per the photos and we were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the property. The wide wooden floors boards were just beautiful, perfect stay for a couple.

Quaint cottage, well appointed and comfortable....wonderful beaches with crystal waters and sand and bird life in abundance. A very restful place to recharge!

Perfecr escape

Looking for a cute beachside getaway with the husband we stumbled across this place. What a beautiful little cottage!! It has all the creature comforts you need, set just metres away from the most stunning beach and is so cosy and perfect for a mini getaway! Everything from booking to the keys were a breeze... making our weekend break even better than we had imagined

Cute cottage

Overall cottage layout and location were perfect. Bed was comfortable and showers were hot. Only down fall was very poor tv reception and the cabin not having DVD selection. I feel most holiday places these days will have digital tv/Netflix/Fox etc. I completely understand that is not an option due to the area. However the old school dvds would have sufficed. Especially as the only rental kios in the Jervis Bay area was out of action so renting was not an option. No phone reception was nice for a change in this technology world, however the only down fall was being unable to plan things to do or know which direction to drive in. I fee the cottages would benefit from a guest book with attractions/maps/restaurants etc. I would defiantly return to these lovely cottages. I would just be more prepared next time with things to do - as static tv and no phone reception on raining days is not super fun

Wonderful Cottages

The cottages are perfect for couples, quiet, cosy and everything most people would need are supplied for relaxing days. The sound of waves, birds and peaceful location were just perfect.

Beautiful Cottages

WOW what a beautiful cottage plus location ! My husband and I had fantastic time, we were so relaxed by the time we had left. We will be coming back for sure and going to try make an annual holiday at Hyams Beach Seaside Cottages. I would highly recommend this place to anyone !! :) :)

Relaxing but isolated

Very lovely cottage for 2 night stay during hot weather. Without air-conditioning the nights were very hot (ceiling fans only)which made sleep difficult. Very isolated with poor mobile phone reception and no wi-fi. Local cafe (only shop in town) provides a nice breakfast, however it closes at 3pm so nothing available for dinner. Beaches are lovely and pristine. Jervis Bay area could do with a few more up-market eating areas.

We enjoyed the cottage, it was neat and clean and close to the beach. With the poor mobile phone reception in the area it would have been nice if there was WiFi provided.

Meticulously restored cottages. Everything about them was absolutely beautiful. Perfect location across the road from the beach and kiosk!

Really relaxing place to stay. Clean, compact, great view of beach. Brought gourmet food and wine with us so spent every evening on the balcony.

Living in an aviary

Beautiful cottages with views of the water and sitting on the balcony with the array of gorgeous birds. Bed was comfy and it was very clean and well kept.

Peaceful & very relaxing Location

Loved our 5 days here. Waking up to the amazing array of bird life & beach view from balcony. Beaches are a plenty with the amazing white sand. Only tiny downside is going out to dinner is a 15 min car ride to Huskisson.

Clean, quaint and perfectly located

We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 2015 and we were very impressed! Our cottage was immaculately clean and that's what we noticed straight away. Lovely, quiet setting one street away from the beach. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and we would definitely stay again!

Jem by the beach

These self contained cottages are located right on Hyams Beach, so location could not be better! The balcony has a view of both bush and ocean, making it ideal to spend the hours outside. The cottage inside is absolutely lovely-spacious enough for 2, yet also cosy and warm. Comfortable, clean and quiet, will definitely be staying again!
