The Beach House is an iconic Gerroa Beach property, with one of the best locations in the village. Everyone knows this place...and for good reason. It is a classic yet luxuriously appointed beach cottage, a lovely garden and easy access to either the beach or the estuary. The home is comfortably and well appointed. Summer or winter - this home is cool or cosy depending on your needs! In the cooler weather, warmth is provided by the cosy wood burning stove and two reverse-cycle air conditioners.
Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:

Where will I be?
The Beach House is a waterfront property located directly across the road from Seven Mile beach. Soak up the view and savour the coastal panorama from this charming beach side cottage sand, surf and sunsets.

Immaculate contemporary decor with a nautical flair to elegant furnishings, log fire for winter warmth and captivating views across the river estuary to the beach and ocean beyond makes this the perfect waterfront escape.
How is the property laid out?
The Beach House is a single level cottage with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one master bedroom with a king bed and ocean views, one queen bedroom with reading nook and one twin room with two single beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a spa bath, shower, vanity and toilet, and the second with a shower, vanity and toilet.
There is a sitting area with spectacular views of the beach, two sofas, coffee table, desk area and selection of books. The living and dining areas are open plan with a large corner sofa, open wood fireplace, TV, DVD and CD player and dining table to seat six.
The gourmet kitchen has a six burner gas cook top, large oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is also an internal laundry with washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note, however, that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if it is problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The Beach House has a beautiful fenced front garden and multiple outdoor entertaining areas. There is a patio at the front of the property with table and two chairs, a deck at the back with table and two chairs and also a paved BBQ area with dining table, six chairs and gas BBQ.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
The Beach House has a wood fireplace in the main living area to ensure your stay is cosy throughout the winter months. There are also two reverse cycle air conditioners which provide cooling or heating, depending on your needs. There is a ceiling fan in the master bedroom and portable heaters and fans in each bedroom for year round comfort. The property has flyscreens on the windows and doors and can therefore be opened up in summer to take in the ocean breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is a medium sized garage for one car or storage of surfboards, fishing gear and the like.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Decor design was great! Furniture and linen was nice, in good condition and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and in good order. It was nice to have soap and shampoo provided. Overall, we were very impressed by the property, and we really enjoyed our time there.
Perfect beachside location
Candace H - 5th January 2023Directly opposite the beach, this house is perfect for a beach holiday with excellent views and easy beach access. The house is well appointed and cosy. There are multiple seating areas which is great for a multi-generational family holiday. The kitchen is very well stocked and the BBQ works well. I could rave about this place all day but almost don't want to give away what a great gem it is so it isn't booked out next time we want to visit!!

Lovely beachside cottage
Fiona M - 15th May 2022Cute cottage with the best seaside view. We stayed for a weekend at the beach house and were lucky enough with May weather to be able to sit outside and enjoy the house. Directly across the road from seven mile beach. Very calm and tranquil surrounds. Two very large bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with two singles, could easily suit two families with a seperate dining room and two seperate lounges. Looks like it may have been updated recently and has been decorated in an eclectic style.

There was everything you would need in the kitchen, two nicely appointed bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect, right opposite the beach with lovely ocean views (unfortunately, we had terrible weather). I would recommend this property and would happily stay again.

We saw about 20 whales per day, dolphins, and even seals (at Black Head). We bought a SUP from Natural Necessities, and got our money's worth in just this short 4 day stay. We're planning when to go back !

Smith - 7th August 2018Very quite seaside town with very little traffic. House was very clean and fresh and everything you needed provided. The log fire was a bonus. Remember to bring your slippers as the flooring is rough and the main tv lounge is not too comfy. Forget about using the garage - very old, up the gutter over the grass and no light which is not good when you arrive a night. The front entrance door could also do with a sensor light which would help when you arrive home for dinner.

You don't need to only visit the beach in summer!! The fireplace was so cozy & the house was perfectly clean, neat & tidy. We loved all the space ad the location was perfect for strolls along the beach & visiting the local cafe/restaurant! Would highly recommend this house & hopefully will be back soon! :)
