Set on 35 acres, this two bedroom cottage is located to the rear of a working farm overlooking a beautiful creek. Creek View Cottage is your home away from home. Take in the peace and quiet of the countryside and explore the farm paddocks, or visit some of the historic villages that make the Southern Highlands famous. The cottage is within walking distance of the beautiful Fitzroy Falls visitor centre, reserve and waterfall!
Strictly no parties at this property - please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Where will I be?
Creek View Cottage is located in the hamlet of Fitzroy Falls, equi-distant from Kangaroo Valley and the towns of the Southern Highlands (Burrawang, Robertson, Moss Vale, Exeter, Berrima, Bowral). If you are attending a wedding at The Bungalow or Mali Brae,Creek View Cottage is a great option to consider for accommodation. You can drive anywhere from here, or just stay put and enjoy the tranquility of Fitzroy Falls and its stunning walks, escarpments and waterfalls!
Why choose Creek View Cottage?
Creek View Cottage is a beautiful destination year-round. In spring, farm life is in full effect with lambing and the shearing of the alpacas. In the summer months the nearby walking trails are waiting to be discovered. Autumn brings stunning colours and winter is the perfect time to enjoy the crisp air and being cosy around the firepit.
If you would like family or friends to join you, take a look at Annies Barn, an accommodation option that sleeps two and is also on Rowan Farm.
How is the property laid out?
Creek View Cottage is all on one level. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. The open plan living area includes dining table, living area with a comfy sofa and a smart TV. The well equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine that is compatible with Nespresso pods. There is also a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board for your use.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Take in the fantastic views of Rowan Farm from the front porch of Creek View Cottage. There is a firepit you are welcome to use. The cottage is surrounded by paddocks and grazing farm animals and there is a good chance you will receive a visit from the local wildlife.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area for year round comfort, as well as a gas heater for the chilly nights. The bedrooms have ceiling fans, and you can open the windows to catch the breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Creek View Cottage supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Creek View Cottage has open air parking for 2 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Pets are welcome at Creek View Cottage subject to the following rules:
- The property is pet friendly but not between start of September to end of October when it is lambing season on the farm
- If you go into a paddock with livestock, or near the free range chickens, we ask you to keep your dog on a leash
- There are no fenced areas for your dog. Please only stay if you are able to control your pets!
- Clean up after your pet
- Please do not allow dogs on the furniture
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Who will I be dealing with during my stay?
This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral. We have over 300 properties in Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Berry, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach, Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands. We offer guests 24/7 customer service – emergency calls only after hours, please.

Just a lovely peaceful place to stay

Perfect place to relax and unwind

The cottage is beautiful.. ideally located to explore Kangaroo Valley, Bowral and Mittagong etc.. The property is entirely private and incredibly peaceful. We absolutely loved our weekend at Creek View Cottage.. We had great weather so made the most of the outdoor space inc the awesome fire pit.. Highlight - the ability to bring along our dog who always travels with us! Thanks for having us :-) The property owners were lovely - super friendly and helpful! Already thinking about rebooking for next year!

Getting fresh farm eggs straight from the hens was a highlight, and the alpacas on the farm are very cute. Greg, the owner, was lovely as well and gave us great tips on our bonfire. Worth it and will be back again!

Anonymous - 30th NovemberWe had such a wonderful stay at creek view cottage! The place was gorgeous and the area was ideal for a getaway with our dog who loved playing with Max the dog who lives on the farm! It was very easy to get around and was close to everything, we had a lovely dinner at a pub in moss vale which was a short drive. I wish we had have made more use of the firepit outside as it looked like it would have been great to sit around in the evening with a glass of wine! Would definitely come back again thank you so much!!
