Fibro Majestic is a classic, very affordable, and perfectly located Hyams Beach beach house. It sleeps four and has been tastefully renovated inside. It also has good lawn areas and a lovely front balcony.
Where will I be?
Fibro Majestic is located in the heart of Hyams Beach. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the beaches and cafe. Being close to the entrance to Hyams Beach, it's not difficult to find!
Why choose Fibro Majestic?
The cottage provides easy access to the beach and local store + cafe. It is easily identified by its lime green-coloured fibro exterior - hence the name.
How is the property laid out?
Fibro Majestic is a cosy, open plan cottage with one bedroom featuring a queen size bed and one bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen comes with all utensils and cooking necessities including an oven, toaster and kettle. An iron and ironing board are on hand if needed. The lounge room is equipped with a TV and DVD set-up for entertainment.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Fibro Majestic supplies all linen and bath towels. Though please remember to bring your own beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
The driveway has enough parking for one car whilst there is ample street parking outside the cottage.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes! Fibro Majestic is a pet-friendly property, however it is not fully fenced. Please do not allow pets on furniture and ensure that all waste is cleaned and disposed of correctly upon departure.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

magj - 10th January 2020Much better than expected so close to beach and cafe with extra bunk beds and a larger than expected area with a big back yard. We had the best time with the kids!!! Loved the South African touches with respect to decor too.

Cockroach infested, unexpected fee, no privacy.
Shayne - 29th September 2019The original booking I had was rundown cottages I was not willing to stay there for $$$ (not alowed to tell you how much i spent other wise the reveiw will be taken down.)for two nights, it was awful yet the description online said it was in outstanding condition and the photos seem to be a decade old and no longer relevant. I complained so they found us another place to stay this time at the fibro majestic. They emailed me a bill saying I owed them an upgrade fee, I never agreed to this bill and they did not tell me in person when they helped change the accommodation. I saw two cockaroches the first night and didn't think to much of it, the second night I went to the toilet after the lights had been off for a few hours and had a cockaroche fall on me when I opened the door, and i found more when i turned the kitchen light on, on the ground and on the coffee table. The next morning we got up early to leave and there were cockaroches under our bags in the bedroom. I asked for a refund and they told me NO, they had been watching me and and claimed I enjoyed myself. Now I feel as if my privacy has been invaded and I have been ripped off for this infested accomadation. Absolutely disgusted..... Do not stay here.

Domi1 - 12th December 2018The Fibro Majestic is exactly as described. Not flash but very comfortable. We've stayed in a lot of places - and were delighted with all the small things....very well equipped kitchen incl Cling Wrap and heaps of DVD's, books etc to keep you entertained
