Where will I be?
Grovebrook Cottage is just a five-minute drive from the charming centre of Berry, known for its excellent cafés and boutique shopping. The coastal villages of Gerringong and Gerroa are only 15 minutes away, with Kiama approximately 25 minutes from the property. Guests can enjoy relaxed seaside days at Gerroa’s Seven Mile Beach, along with a variety of dining and retail options across the region.

How is the property laid out?
Grovebrook Cottage is an ideal getaway for a family or a small group of friends. The heart of the home is a big open games and lounge area with a pool table, ping pong table, pinball machine, foosball, and TV, flowing straight out to a large covered patio. An additional room has an eat-in kitchen and lounge area with a log burner. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer and bathroom with shower, toilet and double vanity. The two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two singles, sit next to each other and both have easy access to another covered patio and porch and outdoor seating. There are covered outdoor spaces wrapping around the house and a Tesla charger at the side of the house.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Grovebrook Cottage has a large, undercover outdoor area with a dining table and lounge that overlooks the expansive lawn surrounding the house. There are several patios to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or keep an eye out for local fauna. Lovers of backyard cricket can enjoy a game or two on the cricket pitch and enjoy a BBQ afterwards! Guests are welcome to wander around any part of the property that is on the cottage-side of the creek.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Gas fireplace in the living room. Ducted heating and cooling in the kitchen, living and dining area.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is open air parking by the cottage for two cars. There is a Tesla EV charger for guest use.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, this property is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of pet friendly options, of which we have many.
Is there any important information I should know?
There is a second home on the property, but it is not near Groovebrook Cottage. Access is separate and the buildings are not within site of one another. This will not impact your stay in any way. Guests are not permitted to use the tennis court or pool that is on the property, but are welcome to use the cricket pitch.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
