Horizons is arguably one of the best properties in Hyams Beach - architecturally designed, master built, fantastic views, infinity pool, private beach access, dual fireplaces and an easy walk to the café! What more could you ask for? Sure to impress and you won't be disappointed with this house.

Strictly no parties at this property. External CCTV cameras are in place to monitor excess guest numbers, and inappropriate behaviour, if needed.
Where will I be?
Horizons is located in the heart of Hyams Beach with direct beach access and short stroll to the Hyams Beach Café.
Why choose Horizons?
Infinity pool, outdoor entertainment area complete with indoor/outdoor fireplace and BBQ, spacious kitchen and living area with 180 degree views of Jervis Bay.
How is the property laid out?
This large four bedroom, three bathroom designer home offers expansive kitchen and living areas, multiple outdoor living areas and verandahs, laundry room with washer and dryer, family or theatre room, and infinity pool overlooking Jervis Bay. The main living level has the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, balcony and pool deck; a slightly raised level has two bedrooms (1x king bed, and 2x king singles), a shared shower and toilet, the laundry and the rumpus room (which leads to the double lock up garage). The downstairs level of the house has the master king bedroom with en-suite bath, and the second bedroom offers 2x king singles with ensuite shower. Access to the beach and outside shower is also from this level.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Multiple outdoor entertainment areas, BBQ, covered fireplace with outdoor lounges, and infinity pool offering the best views in Hyams Beach.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
In every bedroom, there are ceiling fans and ducted air-conditioners for your personal comfort, ready to cater to hot or cold weather. The living area also has the option of ducted air-conditioning along with a combustion fireplace.
Please note that the swimming pool is not heated.
Lighting and Blind ** Specifics **
Horizons is equipped with state of the art, dimmable lighting throughout the house. Given its proximity to the beach and to various neighbours, please turn off or dim down the lights at night. In this way, you will get a lovely sense of the beach and ocean, with bright moons a real treat. Turning lights off will also help the native kangaroos and bandicoots who are mostly nocturnal. If you do want to keep lights on at night, closing the electric blinds to all rooms is the next best option - thank you.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Horizons does supply quality linen and bath and beach towels.
Parking for cars, boats etc.?
Two car garage and space for two other cars inside the security gate. Please do not park on the lawn! Use the road instead.
Is my cat or dog also welcome to stay?
Horizons is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Annette S - 1st December 2024Have stayed at Horizons a few times and it never fails to please ….no matter the weather. As it was we had poor weather until our last day but even with two small children everyone was happy with a beach to explore and plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable and happy. Beds are comfortable with views from every bedroom. Look forward to our next visit.

Linda C - 21st April 2024We stayed at the Horizons with 4 couples and had the most incredible stay from the time we checked in and opened the doors to the most unbelievable view of the ocean and then literally just footsteps away takes you to the most beautiful beach with the whitest sand and crystal clear waters not to mention the dolphins putting on a show for us :) The fire pit area was such a perfect spot to sit and have cheese and wine while taking in the breathtaking views. We will be back!

The outside pool is not heated so only real hot days is it enjoyable. Now the plants around the property have grown there is more privacy. Be prepared for an incredible influx of cars and people over a holiday period like Xmas, so make sure you don’t need to leave this stunning property for supplies too often.

HomieswithHubbies - 30th March 2019Horizons is well built and generously appointed with spacious living areas overlooking the undeveloped, yet popular, Hyams Beach. The nearby cafe serves delicious breakfasts and lunches, however self-catered dinners are required. Otherwise be prepared for say a 15 minute drive to Huskisson's array of good eateries. Once we became accustomed to the gurgling noises emanating from the roof, we three couples were comfortably accommodated and would be happy to return to and recommend Horizons to any dolphin-watching beach-lovers.

You can not beat the location with direct beach access to the beautiful white sand & crystal clear water of Hyams Beach. The home is absolutely amazing, views from pretty much every room in the house, beautifully designed & quality built property with everything thought of, well laid out, plenty of space. The pool is spectacular, and there is plent of outdoor space. Everything you need is provided & the inclusions are good quality. I would agree with the previous review that some shade would be a great addition to the seating around the pool area, and the BBQ could be updated, but i did give it a good clean & used it 3 times. This home is truly beautiful you will not be disappointed staying here & we look forward to visiting again next year!
3rd time here

Matt - 19th December 2018You know when you look at photos and then you see something in the flesh and it doesn't live up to the photos? This place is exactly how it looks in the photos. A wonderfully private, beautifully situated and modern property. Wonderfully appointed and exceptionally well maintained and clean, it's a little bit of luxury on a beautiful beach. We'd love to see the addition of an outdoor umbrella on the cliff side for a little shade, but other than that we couldn't fault the place. The transitioin between pool/house and beach is just so easy and everything was super comfortable. Thank you Holiday Collection for your hospitality and to the owners for sharing their beautiful house with us. We'll be returning for sure.

Lesley - 13th December 2018Now I know how great it is to have a private balcony to the beach. The uninterrupted view is priceless. The atmosphere is tranquil. The simplicity, and calculated understatement is restful. All the inclusions are quality. Potential issues were thoughtfully looked after, with great blinds to help one sleep in, if desired. Air con if you prefer to keep the climate more controlled. There are plenty of options to hang with others or be alone. Two families could easily stay here without being in each others way. We didnt need to go anywhere, other than top up groceries, and that wasnt far. We didnt want to be anywhere other than here. The kids alternated between ocean dips and pool swimming. Our older teens went snorkelling and saw a stingray. Thanks for trusting us with your amazing property and for generously sharing it with others. Like people at a restaurant say compliments to the chef, I feel as though I should say compliments to the architect! But the owner always collaborates, so it is no doubt a joint success. Very well done! We appreciated everything. Dont hesitate about booking - you will have NO regrets. The photos cant do this property justice. Just come!

LW279 - 20th May 2018This house is stunning, architecturally gorgeous on the inside and absolutely amazing views when you look outside. The constant view of the beach was our favourite part of our stay. The position of the house couldn't be better, literally steps away from the water. Although the weather was not the best during our stay, on the days we couldn't make it to the beach, the fireplaces and stunning view made for a great environment to relax in. Would definitely recommend staying here, it is definitely an experience. Overall we had the best time and have already booked our next stay!

Direct access on to Hyams Beach and the property having water sports equipment was just fantastic - everyday should start with a 7am paddle board! Spectacular Property
RobynW - 1st July 2016Five of my family recently stayed at this spectacular property to quietly celebrate my (youthful) mother-in-law's 80th Birthday. We were immediately blown away by the stunning location and attention to detail in the house design. It was impeccably clean, private, spacious with an elevated and protected north east aspect which was perfect for our winter stay. Actually, it would be perfect any time of year! The home is beautifully designed and decorated, with everything at your fingertips including state of the art lighting and well appointed kitchen. We loved the architectural use of contrasting textural elements including sandstone, glass and recycled timbers. It felt warm and comfortable and the masonry walls added to this warmth and quiet. The main entertainment/ living/ kitchen areas and all 4 bedrooms look out to the breathtaking views, the loveliest of which is when your eyes shift from the enticing infinity pool to the mesmerizing bay beyond. Both fireplaces were fabulous on the cold wintery nights and we spent our days relaxing, reading, exploring the rock pools and beach and eating at the local cafe only a short stroll away. We'll definitely be back.....

Very spacious layout that offers peace when required and a choice of communal spaces when not. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Whilst stylish it is also inviting and very comfortable. Visiting friends are always in awe of its layout and location. Such a treat.

We enjoyed an open fire on a cool evening with the sounds of the ocean in the background, paradise, Plenty of space for the 7 of and secure parking for the car lover amongst us, a pool the perfect six for 3 active children and hot water in both outdoor showers meant the beach stayed outside! Highly recommended (x7)
