This award winning home showcases an immaculate integration of modern stylish architecture and functionality. Located in a natural setting, Hyams Retreat is just around the corner from the main Hyams Beach entrance. Please also note that this property has two queen bedrooms and that the two single beds are loft style beds, accessed via a vertical ladder.

Where will I be?
Prestigiously positioned at the southern end of Hyams Beach, adjacent to a natural stream. It is hard to believe that the beach is only 100 metres away.
Why choose Hyams Retreat?
Set back from the street, this home has an elevated living space with modern features, open living and a lovely deck.
How is the property laid out?
The living area is all on one level. The sleeping arrangements are: one queen room with ensuite shower, built-ins, access to the deck and a ceiling fan; and one queen room with built-ins and a ceiling fan. There are two loft style single sleeping platforms located in the study above the bookshelves. Please note that these are accessed by ladders. See photos for further information. The house is open plan throughout and has spacious lounge / dining / kitchen area with gas heating. There is also a shared shower bathroom for the second and third rooms, and a laundry adjoining the kitchen.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
Hyams Retreat offers complimentry wi fi.
What about outdoors?
Hyams Retreat is located back from the street with ample space for parking in the front. There is an outdoor shower adjacent to the front door and the deck runs along the back of the property.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Hyams Retreat has a gas fireplace in the living room. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and there is a floor standing fan for warmer days.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Hyams Retreat is supplied with linen and towels. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is a carport for one car and space for two cars on the driveway.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Hyams Retreat is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
Is there any special information I should know about?
Hyams Retreat has a security alarm. The code will be provided with the keys and the alarm does not have to be used during your stay. You also do not need to activate the alarm when you leave. That will be done by the cleaner on the day of your departure.
The two single beds located on the sleeping platforms are accessed via a ladder and are within a loft space which is not high enough to stand in. It is for the purposes of sleeping only.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Beach and bush at your doorstep

The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were really comfortable and being so close to the beach made things really easy for us. Bird watching from the property was a highlight for our bub.

A stylish and comfortable retreat, with a great location - very close to beautiful Hyam's beach (a couple of minutes' walk only) but in a private bush setting. Best of both worlds.
Lovely home, maybe slightly larger than expected and great location.
This is a great place to stay and would highly recommend it to others. The bush around the house is unique in the street making it private and quiet. The deck off the back is a generous size and beautiful place to sit. Very short walk to the beach and local cafe. The house is really well equipped and homey. The area is full of birds which is gorgeous even though they get up early!

Secluded Retreat

The bedrooms are airy and light and having two separate bathrooms was a great bonus. The outdoor BBQ area is a lovely place to eat, read and relax. Just lovely !

My partner and I enjoyed a very comfortable 2-night stay here. Check-in was clear and straight-forward, and the space was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. Also only a 2 minute walk to the beach! Would also be a great spot for 4 guests (as there were 2 bedrooms).
