Kayenta was designed and built by the original owners and has been welcoming guests to the Kangaroo Valley for many years.
Within walking distance of the village yet looking over and across the Valley, this cottage can easily accomodate 5 guests for either that special weekend away to perhaps cosy up infront of the fire in the Winter after a walk from the many shops and eateries the Valley has to offer or enjoy the lovely garden, outdoor eating area and woodfired pizza oven in the Summer. The cottage has many unique features that will enhance your stay and make you want to return.
The main bedroom has a queen bed and a second single bed with plenty of space. Use of the main bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and its own ensuite shower room. The lounge room is furnished comfortably, has a TV, and a wood fire burner, dining area and entry to a large deck area that has flyscreens to enable you to sit late into the evening and enjoy the sunsets. The kitchen is extreamly well equiped with a full oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Airconditioning completes the comforts.
The garden enjoys mosaics creatively placed for your enjoyment as well as fragrant plants, a stunning lemon tree and of course the wood fire pizza oven.
Plenty of parking so that you can simply walk into the village to enjoy dinner in either the local pub or restaurants.
Ideally located if you are attending one of the many weddings held in the area as the buses collect from only 5 minutes away.

Definitely recommend staying hereNeil - 10th August 2023
This is a lovely property, great views, plenty of outdoor space, fire was amazing, walkable to town. Peaceful setting. Definitely recommend staying here, we stayed as a family of 4 (2 children under 2) but plenty of space for an older/larger family or group. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect location for enjoying Kangaroo ValleyJane - 22nd October 2022
Our stay at Kayenta was really wonderful. It’s a gorgeous and much loved cottage in a perfect location for enjoying the Kangaroo Valley village and surrounding areas. We were there for the Folk Festival and it was a beautiful soft landing at the end of each long day. Comfy beds, cosy and generous living spaces and amazing views to boot. Lots of different outdoor spaces to settle for a cup of tea or glass of wine, and sublime birdsong every morning. Kayenta has been lovingly adorned over what seems many years, with endless floor mosaics and personal design and decoration touches everywhere that were intriguing and creative. We would definitely book again.

Absolutely beautiful setting, amazing mountain views and so much space. Fantastic attention to detail throughout the house. The softest cosiest linens, comfy indoor and outdoor settings. We loved the log burning fire and the huge outdoor marble table. There were even kangaroos in the neighbours garden when we arrived! We didnt want to leave and cant wait to come back.
