Spoil yourself at Koru – a modern, stylish and spacious house only 200 metres from Hyams
Beach. It sleeps 8 in great comfort, has a large open plan living room area, and its decks take
full advantage of the elevated position with lovely views of the village and Jervis Bay. It is an
immaculate property – a real sanctuary!
Please note:
With limited outdoor areas, a steep driveway and split-level design, Koru may be better suited to
friends or families with older children.
Where will I be?
Koru is located near the top of Bayview Avenue. It is nestled in natural bushland and has views
to Jervis Bay from its decks, with an easy walk down Bayview Avenue to Hyams Beach, and
further along Cyrus Street to the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Why choose Koru?
Koru is spacious with a well appointed kitchen, laundry, living and dining areas. The four
bedrooms have quality mattresses, with all linen provided. It has a prominent, elevated position.
Reverse cycle air conditioning in living area and upper bedrooms, along with ceiling fans
throughout. Underfloor heating in bathroom and ensuite adds a further touch of luxury when the
weather is cooler. There is ample clothes hanging and drawer space in each of the bedrooms.
Complimentary NBN connected Wi-Fi is accessible throughout. Smart TVs in the living areas
and master bedroom provide Internet TV services.
How is the property laid out?
Koru is a split-level design. Ground level has a single garage and an outdoor shower. Stairs
from the front door lead up to the second level with the main air-conditioned living area,
comprising a comfortable lounge area, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a dining area
seating 8 and a good sized deck with barbeque, and outdoor table also seating 8. The living
room includes a large Smart TV, soundbar with Bluetooth for your own music, Blueray player,
and Apple TV. The ensuite queen bedroom is also located on this level and has its own balcony
with deck chairs, and smart TV. The mezzanine level has a second queen bedroom with rear
deck, shared main bathroom with spa bath, and laundry with third toilet. The house is completed
by an upper level that has third queen bedroom and a spacious fourth bedroom with two king
singles. All three upper bedrooms have air conditioning. The laundry has a large washing
machine, with a dryer located in the garage.
Internet and TV Streaming Services
Wi-Fi internet access is provided throughout the house. TV Streaming services (eg. Netflix,
Stan, etc) are available through the Smart-TV also with Apple-TV in the living room, and through
the Smart-TV in the master bedroom, using your our own streaming services accounts.
What about outdoors?
Koru has limited outdoor areas, however there are wonderful decks throughout the house to
enjoy sun, trees, and sea breezes.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Koru is equipped with ceiling fans throughout along with reverse cycle air-conditioning on all
levels.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
All bed linen and bath towels are provided at Koru. However please remember to bring your
own beach towels.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Koru has a steep driveway requiring some care. You will find directions on how to park in the
house guide. There is a single garage at top of the driveway, and parking space mid-level of the
driveway. Street parking is also available.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Pets are not permitted at Koru, sorry. Please ask us for a list of our pet friendly options.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long
weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs
from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to
make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas,
Boxing, and New Year’s Day public holidays.
Who will I be dealing with during my stay?
This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in
Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral. We have over 270 properties in Kiama, Gerringong,
Gerroa, Berry, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach and the Southern Highlands. We offer
guests 24/7 customer service – emergency calls only after hours, please.

very nice place
This is a really wonderful home with everything we needed for a fantastic week. The house is well equipped and sparkling clean, the wifi, Apple TV and sound bar came in handy as we had a stormy day where we got stuck inside. The location to the beach was perfect, we only had to walk a couple of minutes to the entrance to the beach and cafe. The only downside was the driveway, unfortunately we didn’t take the other reviews seriously and got stuck on the driveway despite following the houses instructions, we almost had to call nrma but thankfully a kind neighbour stepped in and helped us out. I’d definitely stay here again but I’ll definitely be parking on the street.
Super house in a great location. Everything catered for in the house.
This house was just amazing, the utilities they had there was great especially the cocktail shaker. You definitely shouldn’t park in the driveway as it is very steep, we ended up parking in front of the driveway. But overall it was a great stay for our girls trip and would definitely be booking this place again
