Lemon Tree is a charming 100 year old cottage that has been stylishly and lovingly renovated, but still retains all of its original features and character. It is comfortable, relaxing and contemporary - with everything you need for a perfect stay. Enjoy the tranquility this beautiful property offers, while having the convenience of Kangaroo Valley village just a 5-minute drive away!
Strictly no parties at this property - please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Please note: Caretakers may on occasion be onsite in a separate cottage approximately 70 metres to the rear of Lemon Tree Cottage. Access is separate & the buildings are screened from one another. This will not impact your stay in any way.
Where will I be?
Lemon Tree Cottage is an easy 5 minute drive to Kangaroo Valley, or 25 minutes to the Southern Highlands.

Each room at Lemon Tree Cottage has individual character, boasting luxury and comfort. Spend summer evenings on the verandah, or curl up in the living room with the log burner in the winter. Nestled in 11 acres of native bushland, flowing creeks and an abundance of Australian flora and fauna are all on your doorstep!
How is the property laid out?
Lemon Tree Cottage is all on one level. There are two king bedrooms and one room with a king single bed and a trundle bed. The bathroom has a claw foot bath with a separate shower. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining area and the doors to the verandah make dining outside easy!
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Make the most of your beautiful surroundings by enjoying time outdoors. Comfortable seating can be found on both verandahs, as well as a gas BBQ. The dining area under the pergola is perfect for enjoying a meal alfresco. Grassed areas surround the house. Due to the location of the cottage you may receive visits from the local wildlife - be sure to take a seat near the lemon tree and listen to the birds!
Stay warm or keeping cool?
To keep warm in the winter there are column heaters in every room, as well as a log burner in the living room. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom for chilly mornings, and electric blankets on the beds. To keep cool in the summer you will find ceiling fans in every room.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Lemon Tree Cottage supplies high quality linen and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Lemon Tree Cottage has open air parking on the driveway for 3 - 4 cars. The property has a gate at the road.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Lemon Tree Cottage is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of pet friendly properties.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
Summer Season: 3 nights
Easter: 4 nights
Long Weekends: 3 nights
All other times: 2 nights
Please note that during Summer Season we do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral. We have over 300 properties in Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Berry, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach, Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands. We offer guests 24/7 customer service – emergency calls only after hours, please.

Great Getaway
Anonymous - 30th NovemberPerfect weekend away in beautiful surroundings. Almost everything has been thought of here, beds extremely comfortable, kitchen well equiped. Sitting on the back porch drinking a cup of tea whilst listening to the cicada concert in fortissimo was an uplifting experience! Only minor issue, was that, I thought a small supply of milk would have been nice so that we could have just unpacked and enjoyed a cuppa on arrival.Otherwise, this was a perfect break away from the city. I could not believe how cool it was inside the house whilst over 30 degrees during the day.

Check in was super easy and when we arrived, the house was sparkling clean and fresh with plenty of the comforts of home, as well as a lovely bottle of wine as a gift. We loved the fireplace during our stay (which was cold and wet, but oh so cosy inside!) and truly appreciated the little touches such as quality linen on the beds, a heated floor in the bathroom and Nespresso coffee machine with pods. The kitchen was very well stocked with pantry items and facilities and we made good use of it as well as visiting local restaurants/cafes in the local village and Berry. The property was so beautiful, with lovely gardens and lush forests, creeks and bush surrounding it. We explored a bit with the kids and saw lots of kangaroos and much to our excitement, also wombats! We really had the best stay and made the most of some down time and relaxation as well. Kangaroo Valley is just a beautiful place to visit! We'd love to return and highly recommend Lemon Tree Cottage to others.

Private with beautiful vistas from all windows. A fireplace for atmosphere. Self contained with a fabulous kitchen so I can do my magic making delicious meals. Character filled decor inside and out. It is cute as a button.

I planned a surprise picnic under the gazebo for my girlfriend where I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. SHE SAID YES! The Lemon Tree Cottage was the perfect background to our romantic getaway. The cottage itself was cozy and well maintained, beautiful furnished and the location was so peaceful and relaxing. There are so many little nooks to chill out at and just let the world go by. Each morning we would be greeted by Kangaroos on the property as birds chirped in the background. There zero mobile phone reception, but it's better in a way as you get to disconnect. There is internet/wifi however. It's not the fastest connection but good enough for social media and zoning out with a bit of Netflix. We'll never forget our stay here, and we definitely plan on visiting against hopefully in the not too distant future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
