Cosy cottage

We had a wonderful weekend staying in Mermaid Cottage. It felt very cosy and homely now that the nights are getting cooler. It was lovely having the table on the back deck, a perfect spot to warm up in the sunshine. Hyams is always gorgeous, anytime of the year!

Wonderful Stay

We loved Mermaid Cottage. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It was lovely to come home and open up the windows to hear the ocean waves and feel the breeze. Will stay again!

Mermaid cottage again, and another lovely short break, Breakfast and evening drinks on the veranda - just the ticket. Wi-Fi was fine and we even found Netflix worked.

What a beautiful cozy cottage! We fell in love on first entrance. Had a fabulous and relaxing time staying here. So close to the Hyams beach n cafe. Peaceful environment and very well maintained cottage! Will definitely come back again !

Slice of Paradise

Hyams Beach is a slice of paradise. Mermaid Cottage is fantastic. Everything you need is there for a very enjoyable stay. The only downside was one bathroom/toilet. Couples staying may find it a bit difficult.

Weekend getaway

Very well presented cottage with amazing views of Hyams Beach from the main bedroom. Could want for nothing more. Definitely need to visit this place again.

Mermaid Cottage at Hyams Beach - highly recommended

The cottage was very clean. Anything that would be required to make your stay pleasantly comfortable was provided. Being only a short distance from the beach was an extra plus. very calm and serene environment. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect little cottage !

The most perfect little cottage, there is nothing that hasn’t been thought of here. We loved our stay and will definitely be back to stay again, location was perfect and within a short stroll to the beautiful beach. We loved the deck to sit and relax with a cuppa in the morning or to eat a bbq dinner at night. The view from the top bedroom we loved to wake up too along with the sound of the waves at night, such a wonderful way to nod off to sleep. Thank you Holidays Collection 5 stars 🌟

Couldn’t have asked for a more comfy warm and cosy cottage. We will definitely be coming back

Home away from home

Mermaid cottage feels a bit like a home away from home for my family and I. The beds and lounges are comfortable, it’s clean and neat and the kitchen has everything we need. We love it.

Lovely beach house, really well appointed with everything you could need.

Lovely 2 story house with 3 bedrooms, one bathroom. Very short walk to Little Hyams Beach and only a short walk to Chinamans or Hyams Beach. Off street parking. Super well equiped with everything you could need including BBQ, air con, wifi, tv, coffee machine and full kitchen plus outdoor shower. Excellent communication with Holidays Collection including late check out. Decor and bedding was lovely and quality. Very comfortable for a week away with 3 generations.

We had the perfect stay at the mermaid beach house and the kids absolutely loved all the thoughtful touches for them! Loads of essentials plus some. Corolla have stayed for longer

Great place to stay at Hyams Beach, well equipped house that is a short walk from the beach

superb place. don't go past this one. We travelled with a 8yr, 6yr and 1yr old. May want to bring a baby gate for a toddler otherwise it's got it all.

The Mermaid Cottage was an amazing place to stay for a short getaway with family and friends. Photos do not do this place justice. It was a complete oasis from the moment we walked in. Despite the cool weather, there was plenty to do inside - we enjoyed the board games provided and relaxing on the verandah. Even our 3 year old had an amazing time! Our only regret was not staying longer. We look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you again for a great time away.

Beautiful location! Can’t wait to come back

The place was perfect for our family of four, and could easily accommodate another couple. The house was in a great spot, just 100m walk to the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean from the top bedroom. It was very tidy and had lots of games and books for the kids, and was really well setup with appliances, linen and kitchenware.

Gorgeous home and amazing location. A well managed property within a short stroll to Hyams Beach, close to the cafe and central to all other activities in the area. The house itself is as described and it was very clean! Thanks for having me.

Lovely holiday

This is our second stay at Mermaids and it was as equally pleasant as the first. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable and really well laid out. It's so close to the beach that it made it very easy for our young family to enjoy the sand and the water. Our children also loved playing with all the toys ate the house. Thanks again for having us. We will be back.

Second stay at mermaid cottage. The holiday collection are always friendly and make checking in and out smooth. Very clean, cozy and full of natural light, only steps from one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Exactly as a holiday house should be!!

One of Australias premier beaches and accommodation, that will create lasting memories for your family. Wonderfully appointed barefoot luxury house located a stones throw from one of the worlds Top 10 beaches. Everything you need has been thoughtfully supplied and the house is super clean and has many places to enjoy the warmth of Jervis Bay. With 3 kids under ten (and parents!) smiling for seven days without technology and theme parks, do yourself a favour and plug into nature at its best. Highly recommend
