Girls Weekend at Mirrabooka

A beautiful, cosy and comfortable house surrounded by lovely gardens, Mirrabooka is an ideal holiday home for a girls’ weekend or even a group of couples.

Garden setting

Large, family home surrounded by well maintained gardens. It was a comfortable two night stay. More cutlery for guests would be advantageous. I would stay there again.

Lovely Place

Had a great weekend away at Mirrabooka. Lovely ground and gardens. Great having the 4pm check out I would have liked the hand soaps and shower products to be as per the Adverts- p[Palmolive didn't cut it for the price we are paying.

A wonderful house with everything you could possibly want, we barely left. Beautiful large gardens with lots of lovely spaces to sit and have some quiet time. The common areas are great for large groups and the large kitchen is impressively stocked with cooking equipment. The bedrooms are gorgeous and comfortable, even the spare bed in the living area was brilliant as it can be cordoned off. The house has great character, we had an amazing stay and would come back anytime.

This is a lovely open plan home that s very suitable for a larger group. We had a lovely stay.

A lovely spacious home with stunning gardens in a fabulous location!

Lovely gardens & spacious interiors!

Easy and great communication with the host. There was a bad leak in the roof which was fixed on the same day we mentioned it to the host. The grounds of the house were a real highlight and well kept. We loved the big open lawns and loads of space. The house is lovely and spacious although we did find it grubby - for the high cost of the accomodation we would have expected better. there was a definite smell of mould in the bedrooms and and no screens to enable us to open windows and keep mosquitoes out.

Mirrabooka exceeds the description It was such a gorgeous garden which was in wonderful condition with the recent rains The home was very comfortable & stylish filled with many treats - including the large claw footed bath Our seven people all felt very comfortable with large spaces to relax and enjoy On a rainy weekend we lit a fire in December and had a very different early Aussie Xmas to our usual seaside one The gourmet kitchen is equiped with everything you need to cook up a storm It was great fun and we will be back with our friends and family We even had a house all decorated for Xmas which was so thoughtful Thanks again

Mirrabooka is a lovely property with stylish interior and a beautiful garden. It was a relaxing stay.

Lovely spot for a weekend away

This was our second stay at Mirrabooka and it hopefully won't be our last. The house is charming and comfortable in a relaxed way. The three bedrooms are a good size and each quite separate - so would suit either a family or group of adults for a weekend away. The kitchen is large and well appointed with European appliances. Also, unlike a lot of holiday / weekend rentals, the utensils are plentiful and of good quality (including the kitchen knives). The large grounds make for a very peaceful and relaxing stay - just what you want when you get out of the city. The location of the house is perfect - set in a quieter part of the Highlands and near the charming town of Burrawang which boasts a good cafe at the General Store and a lovely village pub with good food and great outdoor dining on a sunny day.

Charming family home

A perfect home for our family to regroup post Covid isolation. The garden is charming and the house well equipped and welcoming.

What an absolute delight!

We recently celebrated my daughter’s wedding in the southern highlands and needed a property to accommodate a big crowd. The online photos did not do it justice and Mirrabooka was even better in person. All the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed and more. The grounds were spectacular and provided the perfect backdrop for family photos and lots of room for the kids to roam. The fire and sitting room, which was quite spacious, made the perfect location to build some amazing family memories and the entire home was very clean. The master bedroom en-suite has the most glorious claw foot bath and was the perfect place to soak after the business of the wedding. There was also a great dressing room that was not featured in the online photos which proved to be a wonderful space to get ready for the wedding. We cannot believe our good fortune in finding Mirrabooka and we will definitively stay again. The house and it’s old world charm certainly did not disappoint.

Exceptional location

Mirrabooka is a stunning location. The exceptional garden is a delight to roam around. The house has a wonderful verandah with beautiful nooks and comfortable furniture that enables you to sit and take in the beautiful surrounds and relax. The house is large and comfortable with a great kitchen that is easy to cook in. A very relaxing and nurturing place which was just what we all needed.

I was so impressed by this home the pictures don’t even do it justice the house was very large an spacious the property was beautifully landscaped it was purfect and I will stay there again in the future.

Wonderful weekend

Mirrabooka is a beautiful home surrounded by magnificent gardens. We had a wedding at Fitzroy Falls & this was the perfect location. The home had everything we needed for our 3 couples, plenty of space & all on one level. Perfect base for exploring the Southern Highlands. Highly recommended!

Fantasic home

My overseas relatives loved staying in this home, it has a truely home from home feel, all their needs were met with a pantry well equipped and so much more. Would highly recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future.

Fantastic House

We spent a week at Mirrabooka. It is such a beautiful house with everything you need for a relaxing family holiday. Huge log fire, lots of places to relax with a book and so quiet. Our dog loved exploring the back yard. Will be back again.
