Why choose Mirriyindi?
This wonderful home has many great features, including fireplace and country kitchen. Both bedrooms have northerly aspects, en-suites and their own unique style.
How is the property laid out?
The property consists of a main house and one studio cottage.
Mirriyindi (Aboriginal meaning ‘where the rainbow ends’)
This is the main house and features two queen bedrooms both with en-suites and spacious, light-filled walk-in robes. The living room has a cosy slow combustion fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs and books for you to enjoy.
Woongarra (Aboriginal meaning ‘sleeping place’)
This spacious studio sits beside the pond with serene views across the neighbouring lake. It has a queen bed and a single sofa bed, as well as a funky bathroom and kitchenette.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it?
Internet and landline are not available, but there is strong 4G network coverage around the property. There are also bluetooth speakers in the main house and both studio cottages.
What about outdoors?
There are many great outdoor options at Mirriyindi. The covered verandah off the main cottage kitchen is perfect for an al-fresco dining alternative with its long trestle table, and there’s also an outdoor seating area nearby that catches the sun year round. The gazebo overlooking the garden pond makes for a great photo opportunity, and the grounds are full of places to explore and relax. There is also a gas BBQ available for your use.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
The main cottage is fitted with a wood combustion fire and gas heater for Winter, as well as ceiling fans in the bedrooms for Summer. Woongarra has reverse cycle aircon to keep you cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter.

Reviews
Beautiful setting - great location.
Catherine - 23rd March 2020We initially booked Mirriyindi for a wedding at Bendooley Esate. Due to the current health epidemic facing NSW; the wedding was cancelled. The 6 of us decided however, to still go down to Berrima and escape for the weekend. We found the accommodation very comfortable and the location excellent. The grounds in which the accommodation is situated are simply superb and peaceful. The only criticism that I would have, is that as foodies, we found the cooktop on the oven very frustrating to use. The hotplates took up to 5 minutes to heat-up and then it was virtually impossible to adjust the hotplates to have any control over the temperatures required. Such a shame when the kitchen appears to be a "cooks kitchen". I would not hesitate however, booking Mirriyindi again.
Beauty and tranquillity
Tricia - 17th April 2019Peaceful, beautifully appointed, luxurious escape, in a gorgeous natural setting, with friends included. We would all highly recommend.
