Mistral at Gerroa is a large, spacious and very well appointed beach house, with fantastic views of Gerroa and Seven Mile Beach. With four large bedrooms, a huge upstairs living area and a full width deck, Mistral is a perfect getaway for families, friends and your pet.
Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Summer Season (19 December 2025 to 22 January 2026)
6 or 7 night minimums as follows, with remaining Summer Season dates a 3 night minimum, any day arrival or departure

Where will I be?
Mistral is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the beach. It is located one street back from the northern end of Seven Mile Beach and has access via a gate in the backyard. The house is slightly elevated, giving great views of the ocean from the balcony, living area and bedrooms.
Why choose Mistral?
Mistral is a well appointed house with extensive views and easy beach access via the backyard. It is peaceful, comfortable and spacious enough for two families with everything you need for your holiday.
How is the property laid out?
Mistral is a double storey, four bedroom home, configured as follows:
Upstairs has a large open plan kitchen and dining area featuring polished timber floors and sliding glass doors which open to a large covered timber deck. The spacious master bedroom is adjacent to the living area - a king bedroom with great ocean views, a large en-suite (shower, bath, his and her basins), and sliding doors that open onto the deck. It also has a TV and DVD player. Near the kitchen, there is also a separate toilet with basin, and a spare room for kids to play in.
Downstairs are three additional bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a separate toilet with its own wash basin area. The bedrooms are a large queen sized bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two king single beds + single trundle beds for children under each. Both the queen and twin bedrooms also have beach views and sliding doors that open to the downstairs deck.
Downstairs also has a good sized internal laundry, an entrance hallway and internal access to the double lock up garage.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have complimentary Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during your stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
A large deck off the living area with outdoor setting for eight and gas BBQ. The main bedroom also opens to this deck. Downstairs is a fully fenced backyard with outdoor shower.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Mistral has a gas fire place in the living room, there are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms to keep you cool in summer.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking in the double garage for two cars and off street, open air parking for two more cars on the driveway. Please note that the driveway is fairly steep, so take caution.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Mistral at Gerroa is a pet friendly property, subject to all the normal rules of no dogs on furniture or beds, clean up your doggy mess please, and make sure your dog does not bark at night or if left alone.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

The open concept living area provided us with non-stop views of Seven Mile Beach and the ocean beyond. The outdoor covered verandah is spacious, and a welcoming area to sit and enjoy the views. Beach and headlands access are both an easy walk. We had an issue with a leaking washing machine hose upon arrival. The Holidays Collection were very responsive in repairing the problem without delay.

Fantastic large house in a great location

Towels - maybe need to be updated Cleaning - does need a spring clean as another review suggested - above stove - laundry. But did not affect our stay. Dining Chairs - need to have new felt on legs so as to protect floor Dog Friendly - we cleaned our house well before we left as we do have a large dog. Backyard not appropriate for small dogs as many holes and gaps in fences. I did note that a guard rail provided
Mistral is a huge home with breathtaking views close to the beach. It's stylishly presented and equipped to cater for an extended family group/s. Room sizes are generous and the layout worked beautifully for our group. So grateful to have such a terrific property available to us.

The layout of the home is generous with many large bedrooms and big couches and dining tables in the expansive open living area upstairs. It was such a joy to bring family together in this inviting home. My thanks to our host Craig who accommodated some last minute adjustments and made booking and accessing the property super easy.

This home has an amazing view of the sea and beach There is everything you could ever want in the home, sparkling clean and spacious. We will definitely book again.
Property is as pictured and described. We spent most our time on the balcony which had stunning views. Cleanliness however was a little average. Rooms and bathrooms were cleaned 100%, however high touch point areas (door handles, light switches, range hood etc) had visibly not been cleaned which was a little off putting, particularly given COVID 19.

This lovely spacious stylish house was in a beautiful location and was so comfortable for our group. The views - the sunsets! - were gorgeous. You could walk to everything. The kitchen was generously equipped.
