Where will I be?
Located in the heart of the village, Nautilus is diagonally across the road from the Hyams Beach Cafe and just up from the main entrance to Hyams Beach. It has great views over Jervis Bay from an elevated position.
Why choose Nautilus?
With wonderful views of the bay, ceiling fan and an outdoor setting, the front verandah is a very livable and relaxing aspect of Nautilus. The inclusion of a BBQ on the front balcony ensures you do not miss a minute of the wonderful views.The interior of the house is also luxurious, spacious and modern. The back of the house has a fantastic outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ and heated spa, plus the original wood fire BBQ can be lit to toast marshmallows!
How is the property laid out?
Nautilus has one queen bedroom, an open plan dining/lounge, a well appointed kitchen and a large modern bathroom with separate bath. Catering to couples only, this property has air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. It is airy and light and provides a very comfortable holiday experience. There is also a second bathroom with shower and toilet, adjoining the outdoor entertaining courtyard to make the most of your outdoor living area.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What about outdoors?
Nautilus has a lovely, covered front deck overlooking Jervis Bay, a fantastic outdoor entertaining courtyard, an outdoor heated spa, beautifully landscaped gardens with sandstone terracing, and good lawn areas. The house is set back well from the road for privacy and space.
The house also has a hot and cold shower for when you come back from the beach.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Nautilus has reverse cycle air-conditioning for your comfort - keeping you at just the right temperature year round. There is a panel heater and an electric wood fire to create the cosy romantic ambience that this great property offers.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen is supplied at Nautilus. Please remember to bring your own favourite beach towels. Anelectric blanket is supplied during the winter months for your comfort as is an electric snuggle rug for those chilly nights relaxing on the sofa.
Parking for cars?
There is off-street driveway parking for 2 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Nautilus is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly properties.
Is there any special information i should know about?
Due to the style and decor, this property is not suitable for children or babies.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

The house was extremely comfortable and so close to the beach, the king lounge and large TV was perfect for watching the tennis final. View from the balcony is super. We’ll be back. Make sure you bring your own Nespresso coffee pods& milk if you want to make use of the coffee machine :-)

Fantastic location, with beach a few minutes walk, and a cafe across the street. Nice location near all that Jervis Bay has to offer.
A cute place for couples to stay, with great spa in a tropical garden out the back. It is located across the road from the local cafe which served good cafe food and coffee. Beautiful beaches and walks are easily accessible. Enjoyed the ambience of this house and visits on the balcony from the stunning rainbow lorikeets.
Absolutely beautiful home. There were no details overlooked and we felt completely relaxed. It is very obvious you care about your home. The view and quiet location were incredible, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The spa was the icing on the cake! The kitchen is modern and extremely functional with everything you could need for cooking.

Relaxing stay
JANE M - 6th March 2021My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nautilus at Hyams. The house was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. The house is conducive to relaxation whether it's enjoying the view from the verandah while eating breakfast, lounging on the daybed or looking at the stars from the hot tub before bed. We both slept super well on the very comfortable mattress and left much more relaxed than when we arrived.
Fantastic property in arguably one of the best locations in the South Coast, and most convenient location in Hyams Beach. Located a 2 min walk to beach, with fantastic views over Jervis Bay, you really feel on holiday and instantly relaxed. If you haven’t been to Hyams Beach before, its a pristine white sandy beach, with crystal blue water which could be anywhere in the world. We felt like we could be in Greece. Property has large living room and great kitchen to cook in which is fully stocked with all the utensils you could need. 2 x BBQ’s (front & back), and the hot tub is a great size. The photos are accurate, and when you arrive seeing the property exceeds expectations which is fantastic surprise! Lovely bedroom, if i were to fault anything it was the Queen size bed rather than King size, but the Queen size bed was advertised so no surprises. We will definitely be back.
