Where will I be?
Located in the heart of the village, Nautilus is diagonally across the road from the Hyams Beach Cafe and just up from the main entrance to Hyams Beach. It has great views over Jervis Bay from an elevated position.

With wonderful views of the bay, ceiling fan and an outdoor setting, the front verandah is a very livable and relaxing aspect of Nautilus. The inclusion of a BBQ on the front balcony ensures you do not miss a minute of the wonderful views.The interior of the house is also luxurious, spacious and modern. The back of the house has a fantastic outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ and heated spa, plus the original wood fire BBQ can be lit to toast marshmallows!
How is the property laid out?
Nautilus has one queen bedroom, an open plan dining/lounge, a well appointed kitchen and a large modern bathroom with separate bath. Catering to couples only, this property has air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. It is airy and light and provides a very comfortable holiday experience. There is also a second bathroom with shower and toilet, adjoining the outdoor entertaining courtyard to make the most of your outdoor living area.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What about outdoors?
Nautilus has a lovely, covered front deck overlooking Jervis Bay, a fantastic outdoor entertaining courtyard, an outdoor heated spa, beautifully landscaped gardens with sandstone terracing, and good lawn areas. The house is set back well from the road for privacy and space.
The house also has a hot and cold shower for when you come back from the beach.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Nautilus has reverse cycle air-conditioning for your comfort - keeping you at just the right temperature year round. There is a panel heater and an electric wood fire to create the cosy romantic ambience that this great property offers.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen is supplied at Nautilus. Please remember to bring your own favourite beach towels. Anelectric blanket is supplied during the winter months for your comfort as is an electric snuggle rug for those chilly nights relaxing on the sofa.
Parking for cars?
There is off-street driveway parking for 2 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Nautilus is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly properties.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
