Normandie Park, Exeter
163 Old Argyle Road, Exeter
Normandie Park, Exeter - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Peak Season
Normandie Park is a 206 acre working cattle farm, set in the green pastures of Exeter and featuring a stunning modernist home. The home was built in 1962 by renowned architects Allen Jack + Cottier. Built in the modernist pavilion style, it is surrounded by established gardens and paddocks filled with grazing cattle. Large windows in every room bring in views of the gardens and pastures, giving you a wonderful sense of place. The lounge room opens onto a large verandah, a perfect space to sit and enjoy the country atmosphere. During the colder months you can relax in front of the fireplace. Outside you can walk the grounds, explore the established gardens and view the grazing angus steers. When you stay at Normandie Park you will get a unique taste of Southern Highlands rural life, without being too far from the shops, restaurants and cafes of the surrounding townships.
Where will I be?
Normandie Park is a 5 minute drive from the town of Exeter. Moss Vale is a 10 minute drive, and Bowral a 25 minute drive away. The St. Maur and Sally’s Corner vineyards are just down the road. The wineries, wedding venues and other attractions of the Southern Highlands are all within easy driving distance.
Why choose Normandie Park?
When you stay at Normandie Park you get to enjoy the unique ambience of a Southern Highlands cattle farm but without the early starts. Combined with the stylish, modernist house and beautiful established gardens, Normandie Park is a truly unforgettable place to stay in the Southern Highlands.
How is the property laid out?
You approach the house up a long driveway that winds its way past cow paddocks and underneath long established trees. When you arrive at the house, you enter through the large front door into the entry foyer. Turning left off the foyer takes you to four of the five bedrooms, two with ensuite. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. Turning right off the entry foyer takes you into the large living room with lounges, large television, fireplace and stunning views over the established gardens. Adjoining the living room is the dining room with a large dining table. There is a large, modern kitchen fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. The kitchen opens onto an internal courtyard with bbq and outdoor dining table. Moving past the kitchen you will find two more bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite, and the laundry with washer and dryer.

No bad Angles - Absolutely Beautiful
Soksarlinlar Yim - 25th May 2022I had arranged the perfect getaway for my partner with friends and family to celebrate an intimate getaway. The kids enjoyed the visits with the cows from the farm. The adults enjoyed the views of the beautiful garden and lushes greenery. The top off, the fire place and living space. We played games by the fire and had amazing food in the dining area. Almost each room had its own ensuite and all bathrooms were fully renovated. Till next time! Thank you!!!
Weekend Away
Meg Munro - 6th February 2022The house is perfect for a group. Very spacious, the kitchen is extremely well appointed, the lounge big enough for the whole group. The grounds are really beautifully kept as well.
Beautiful House, felt like heaven
Thilak Rathnayake - 24th January 2022We had one of the best holidays ever with our friends and the memories will last forever in this beautiful house. When we entered, it felt like going to a heaven in a beautifully crafted garden. The house was well spacious and had every single thing we wanted. We didn't go out due to Covid fears, and no regrets about that as we wanted to stay in the house, walk in the park, let the kids play and relax. We will definitely come back to Normandie park to refresh our memories.
Long Weekday stay
Maria Marrocco - 15th June 2021Lovely tranquil property which the family throughly enjoyed. House was Nice and warm for a winter stay :)
The scenery was beautiful, and the property was nice and spacious with lots of beds. Great getaway from the city for a weekend!
Both the home and the property are spectacular. Everything was very neat and clean upon arrival and the kitchen had just about everything you would need. We have been on trips with a large group before and we all agree that this has been the best property we’ve stayed at so far. The 4pm check out on Sunday was greatly appreciated. All in all a wonderful experience, highly recommended for anyone after a relaxing weekend getaway.
A beautiful homestead in the heart of cattle county
Andrew Callister - 8th February 20215 stars! I cannot recommend this wonderful property high enough - the pictures just don't do it justice. The multiple wings in the property comfortably slept and accommodated our team of 14. The grounds are landscaped immaculately and the bulls on arrival are a sight to see! Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful farm with trees and flowers. The rooms are clean and nice. Comfortable journey. prompt response as well.
