On The Beach is a stylish, comfortable, and beautifully renovated beach house with fantastic views of Jervis Bay from a large front deck. The main house sleeps six and a spacious, self contained annexe also sleeps 6.
Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Summer Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Sunday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Sunday being the arrival and departure day. Summer Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
On The Beach is very centrally located in Vincentia, with direct access from the front gate to Collingwood Beach. The local shops are an easy walk from the house - only 500 metres. This strip at Vincentia is north east facing, so all houses have a great sun aspect and some of the best views of Jervis Bay. Huskisson, Hyams Beach and Booderee National Park are all an easy drive away.
Why choose On The Beach?
On The Beach preserves a somewhat classic beach house feel. Experience single storey living, lovely settings, good gardens includinga lawned area, beautiful water views plus stylish interiors and decor. You will relax as soon as you step inside!
How is the property laid out?
The main house is a single storey design and opens onto a lovely deck with fantastic views of Jervis Bay. There is a large open plan area that takes in the kitchen, dining and a comfy TV lounge. Three bedrooms connect to the living area via a hallway - the master bedroom with water views and a queen bed, a second queen bedroom, and a third kids' room with bunk beds. All bedrooms share a common bathroom with shower and bath, and there is a separate toilet.
The detached annexe has a very large living area with 2 bunk beds and a fourth bedroom with a queen bed, a small kitchenette, a shower and toilet, and a connected internal laundry. The configuration of the annexe allows the kids to enjoy the bunk beds and living area, whilst Mum and Dad can have their own space in the separate bedroom.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
The house offers alfresco dining on a large entertaining deck overlooking Jervis Bay - with On the Beach having some of the best water views in Vincentia! The garden is of a good size as well, perfect for the kids, and runs down to a front gate that has direct access to the beach.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
On the Beach is equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the living room - perfect for keeping the main house warm in cooler months, or cool in summer. In addition, the house can be opened up to catch any available sea breeze. The Annexe has a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the bedroom and a moveable oil heater for the room that has the bunk beds.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen is provided at On the Beach. Please however remember to bring your beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Parking is off-street on the driveway, with room for up to 3 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
On The Beach is a pet friendly home! Please bring a bed for your pet, and do not allow them on the beds or furniture. Please also clean up after your pet, and note the property is fenced though we recommend to watch your pet to ensure they are safe.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Beautiful location, spacious & comfortable
Shayne D - 3rd June 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at On The Beach at Vincentia. The property was comfortable and spacious and we loved the location and the beautiful views of Jervis Bay. It was lovely being so close to the beach and walking path. The property was an easy walk to the shopping centre and only a short drive into Huskisson. It was lovely to spend the weekend with three generations of family at On The Beach at Vincentia, and be able to take our dog as well.

The cottage and main house suited our family arrangement and proved to be a wonderful way to be together or do separate things depending on each couple’s needs. The size of property, great deck and parking availability along with water views made our stay very relaxing. Checkin was easy, as was the communication with The Holiday Collective. I would recommend taking your own pillow if you don’t like high ones but beds comfy.

The large living and dining area was a great space to enjoy the spectacular view of the bay. Stunning location
Ange - 19th January 2018Great location, beautiful views and plenty of room! However, it was not very clean, particularly in the granny flat. There were wasp nests all around the granny flat which is not ideal with kids. Spiders and ants were also frequent guests in both houses. Not something you expect with this price. Would definitely book this place again if the insect problem was sorted.

It felt like such a no-fuss, relaxing house to be in- everything we needed. The deck has a great view and we saw the dolphins from there on a few occasions. Super low-key beach holiday - lovely.
