This large, architecturally designed coastal retreat is located on Elizabeth Drive, Vincentia - across from the access points for beautiful Orion’s Beach. The house accommodates up to 16 and offers guests a non-heated plunge pool, entertaining kitchen, multiple living spaces, a wood fireplace and air conditioning. The home is a perfect gathering place for family or friends!

Summer Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Tuesday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Tuesday being the arrival and departure day. Summer Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
Orion's Lookout is superbly located opposite multiple access points for Orion's Beach in Vincentia and the Huskisson to Vincentia cycle path. This property is also within walking distance of Vincentia’s shops, cafes and restaurants. Huskisson is a short, 5 minute drive away.
Why choose Orion's Lookout?
Orion's Lookout is a unique, architecturally designed property suitable for several families or larger groups to come together to enjoy a coastal getaway. Generous common spaces, plenty of natural light and a good sized backyard and deck will mean that everyone feels at home. The property is within walking distance of several beaches, with access points to Orion’s Beach just across the road.
How is the property laid out?
Orion's Lookout is a split level home, with three main levels.
On the ground floor, you enter into a generous atrium containing a staircase that connects all levels of the house. To the left is a double lock up garage that is made available for guest use. To the right, double doors open into a large rumpus room complete with second kitchen, a table tennis table and 3 beds: 1 x king single and 2 x singles. Connected by a hallway are two bedrooms - one queen and one with 2 x king single beds - as well as a shared bathroom for this level of the house.
The second level is divided into two sections, divided by the staircase atrium. To the right, the larger wing contains an open plan kitchen, dining and living area which serves as the hub of the home. Leading off from this area you will find two more bedrooms (one with a king bed and a single bed behind a dividing wall; and the second bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a shared bathroom and European style laundry on this level. At the front of the house to the ocean, and to the rear of the house to the garden - the living, kitchen and bedrooms open to timber decks. The rear deck has a gas BBQ and fenced non-heated plunge pool. The rear deck steps down to a lawn area which is fully fenced on all sides.
Still on the second level, to the left of the atrium is a master queen bedroom with a private balcony, ensuite and separate bath tub.
On the third level, after continuing up another flight of stairs, you find the "Orion's Lookout" level that serves as another bedroom with a double bed.
For coffee lovers, the house is equipped with a coffee pod machine.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at Orion's Lookout.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the internet is always in service, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Orion's Lookout has an unfenced landscaped garden to the road, various decks and balconies, and a fully fenced rear garden. Two of the bedrooms in the house adjoin and have access to a balcony, one of which is private. The living room also connects with a balcony facing the road. To the rear of the house, a good sized timber deck connects the kitchen with the rear garden and a fenced off non-heated plunge pool enclosure. The rear garden is fully fenced.
Keeping warm or keeping cool!
For year round comfort this property features air conditioning in some rooms. To stay warm through the cooler months Orion's Lookout is equipped with a wood burning fireplace & NON- heated plunge pool on the back deck.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Orion's Lookout supplies linen and towels. Please however bring your favourite beach towel for use with the non-heated plunge pool or at the beach.
Parking for cars, boats etc.?
Orion's Lookout has a double garage plus space for 4 cars on the driveway i.e. a total of 6 vehicles.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes! Pets are welcome to stay at Orion's Lookout subject to the following:
- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
- Lastly, please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home. Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure - thank you!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

A unique space which is perfect for groups

Beautiful property with lots of space

We did have some issue with the fire alarm, which Martin tended to & was incredibly helpful/courteous, especially when we called him out on the weekend. Overall, even with being cooped up inside due to the weather, there was enough space and areas for us all!
