Total serenity!!
Karen B - 25th September 2024What a wonderful home to stay in for a long weekend!!! We desperately needed a quiet break, and this fabulous property delivered that and more. It had everything we needed from the most AMAZING kitchen stocked with everything, to that fantastic outdoor bath overlooking the valley to the crackling fire in the combustion stove. It's the kind of place you don't want to leave but gives you great memories for life. I can't remember the last time we were that relaxed and can't wait to return!!
Absolutely perfect weekend away
Jayne R - 18th September 2024Absolutely perfect weekend away, and had everything we were looking for. We went to the lookout which was beautiful and loved the outdoor bath and fire place. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing time away.

Josh - 12th July 2024The views were absolutely stunning, and the secluded location made it feel like a true escape. The house was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, with large windows that let in so much natural light. We loved the unique indoor and outdoor showers and the cozy sunken outdoor bathtub. Exploring the nearby hiking trails was a highlight, especially the Red Rocks Trig Point lookout with its incredible views over Kangaroo Valley. Evenings by the fireplace were so relaxing, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. This retreat was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!
Amazing and Beautiful relaxing stay
Isabel S - 17th June 2024Spent a weekend at the Red Rock Retreat in Kangaroo Valley and had an amazing experience. Despite Saturday being wet, the cozy eco cabin provided the perfect refuge with its warm fireplace and inviting atmosphere. Sunday greeted us with clear blue skies, offering breathtaking views of the valley. The highlight was the starry skies at night, an absolute treat for stargazers. The blend of nature's beauty and the cabin's comfort made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend for anyone.
Definitely be looking at another stay at red Rocks in the future

An unforgettable weekend away!
Richard M - 30th April 2024We instantly felt at home when we walked in the door. The location is secluded and peaceful, and the hosts are so thoughtful with all the touches in the place. There was plenty to do nearby (but we could have easily spent the entire weekend in the bath and by the fires!). We can't recommend Red Rocks Mountain Retreat enough! :)
We would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!
Sam H - 10th April 2024This was the most amazing house to stay at during our visit to Kangaroo Valley. The high ceilings, natural interior styling and large common spaces felt very luxurious. We greatly appreciated the outdoor bath, lovely linens, fire pits and incredible valley views. This was our favourite holiday home that we stayed on during our road trip from Sydney to Melbourne.
We highly recommend Red Rocks Mountain Retreat for a romantic getaway!
Andrew A - 29th March 2024Red Rocks Mountain Retreat provided the perfect backdrop for our engagement weekend. The accommodation's stunning beauty, complemented by personalised touches from our hosts, made our stay unforgettable. Nestled in the mountains, the retreat offered unparalleled privacy while still being conveniently close to Kangaroo Valley's dining options. The highlight was undoubtedly the outdoor bath with its mesmerising mountain views.
The perfect two-couple getaway
Iain W - 26th February 2024Once you make it to Red Rocks Mountain Retreat, you won't want to leave. The view is epic, as is the space in the kitchen and living area, and it's supremely relaxing. The two bedrooms are super-comfy and you have everything you need to cook great meals and enjoy the space. We will return one day, for sure!
The perfect balance of adventure and relaxation
Hayley G - 29th January 2024We had such a wonderful time at Red Rocks Mountain Retreat. The perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. The kiddos loved being in ‘the bush’ and the outdoor bathtub was a real delight. The recommendations to walk to the waterfall and the lookout were spot on. Had a brilliant time and would 1000% recommend. The house is simply stunning. Thank you for such a treat.
Such a unique and epic location!
Glen A - 26th January 2024Such a unique and epic location. Plenty of room and well cared for by devoted owners. Even though the place is truly off the grid it was great to have the creature comforts like a full kitchen, fireplace, wifi and streaming services. Would love to come back and share the place with friends and family
This has to be one of the best places to stay within the Kangaroo Valley
Ben A - 16th January 2024This has to be one of the best places to stay within the Kangaroo Valley. Whilst it’s a bit of a trek to get to, Richard and Sarah have thought of everything so you don’t have to leave the retreat. The pictures don’t do it justice, they have beautifully fitted out the place and even though it was summer we took full advantage of the fireplace as the nights were cooler. It has really good Wifi to watch Netflix, and multiple places where you can relax and read a book in peace.
