Perfect Place

We love coming to Riverside. We walk, we swim and watch the tide go in and out, the sun rise and the sun set. The birds are wonderful. We sea the community of Minamurra swim in the river, row, paddle kayaks, play with the kids. Perfect!

Such a joy to arrive at Minnamurra, our water paradise. Always clean and tidy and everything you need is there.

Perfect for couple

So happy with our stay here. Owners provide everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Very private cottage right by the river. This is our second stay here and we noticed lots of upgrades to enhance your comfort. Very private and right on the beautiful river you can lay watch the tidal river with all its amazing bird life or swim in its sparkling waters right off the property. Kayak use is provided too. Definitely a favourite with it’s location to our favourite place. Perfect for couple.

The outlook for this delightful riverside cottage is superb. The accommodation was nicely appointed, with everything we needed for a very restful break. The fabulous deck, full windows with fly screens, aircon & late checkout Sunday just added to the making our stay more relaxing.

Such a beautiful place to stay

The cottage includes everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. The terrace and the view are just stunning and allow for pure relaxation. We loved our stay there!

Great place to chilax

What an absolute stunning place to be able to stay. Right on the very clean, pristine waterfront of the minnamurra river. Wonderful to just relax & watch the bird life fly by. Wish I was lucky enough to own such a beautiful spot. Will be back

This place is an absolute gem. Really easy booking, friendly and helpful staff, Jaw dropping river views and great location, I highly recommend riverside cottage and will definitely be booking it again soon.

Water front beauty

This place was awesome to stay at, has everything you need including external laundry facilities. Morning sunrises are superb, go fishing any time you like. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wood to keep the fire place going, such a private hidden gem. Delightfully simple booking process , will definitely stay again.

A perfect retreat...

Once again (third time) we have had a lovely stay at Riverside Cottage. A spotless interior, a well-equipped kitchen and good quality accessories all round (cutlery, china, bed linen/bath towels etc), this is our very favourite home away from home. The property was well-fenced for the security of our dog who also enjoys the location.

Paradise

A beautiful property in a magical place. Everything you need for a perfect getaway. I will be back. The best part was walking off the back deck into the water. It was paradise.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location

My wife and I, together with our Groodle dog, Coco, stayed at this lovely cottage located in Minnamurra in late May 2022.

Weekend getaway on the water

Minnamurra is only 1.5 hours drive from Sydney and this cottage is the perfect weekend relaxation getaway. Fully renovated it has everything you need for a comfortable scenic weekend right by the water.

Updates needed

I love staying here so much! I make sure we get down at least twice a year.

A real gem!

We had the most wonderful stay at Riverside Cottage even though there were some renovations going on outdoors. The cottage was extremely well equipped with good quality fittings and equipment. It was clean, cosy and super convenient, allowing us to come and go easily into Kiama Downs for grocery shopping and into Kiama proper where our children live. We enjoyed it so much that we've booked again for a stay in September!

This place far exceeded my expectations. From sitting out the front by the waters edge, watching the grabs, little fish and stingray go by, to kayaking up the river and over to the beach, to the coziness of the cottage itself... I assure you, you will not be disappointed with your stay here. Absolutely gorgeous!!! We will 100% be back!!!

This spot was just idyllic! The sun came out on our last day so the 4pm check out came in handy! It was also great to be able to use the SUP, kayak and canoe!

Craig’s place is well set out and provides everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It’s the nicest place I’ve stayed that allows you to take your furry friend. I really don’t want to write too much as I don’t want to make this hidden gem public. Minnamurra river is beautiful and it has a real community feel. Minnamurra is a well maintained suburb. It offers the essential shops and access to great coastal walks. Kiama is near by if you need more. We have a new favourite place and will definitely be back.

best on the river

We think this one bedroom place is the best on the river. Just a few stairs down to the river to walk across to the sandbank at low tide and enjoy swimming at high tide. The deck is well set up with table chairs and BBQ - perfect for watching the sun rise and set, plus the procession of others enjoying the river. The apartment is clean and well furnished. We love this place and will be back. Our dog had a wonderful time too - swimming, playing on the sand, watching fish. Perfect!

Can not wait to return to the cottage, perfect location, perfect stay.

My husband & I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. It just felt so perfect for a couple! Beautiful views, great atmosphere, and the house provided all necessities. This was by far our favourite stay, and appreciate the great service we received upon arrival & throughout the stay. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our second stay at Riverside Cottage and it won’t be our last. Spectacular location and amenities. Kitchen is really well equipped, comfortable bed, lovely shower and fantastic undercover patio with good size table and chairs. Did I mention the new Weber Q? The owners have not skimped and it shows. Netflix and WIFI. Nespresso coffee machine available but bring your own pods. See you soon.

This modest cottage is three steps from the Minnamurra River. With sunny weather it would be a dream location. In the rain it was a little diminished as the outside awning wasn’t waterproof so everything was wet the whole time, trapping us inside. Bar for some cleaning implements left in the shower, it was neatly presented. The sofa could do with replacing, but I otherwise was happy with the furnishings. I loved all the area-specific art, particularly the aerial photos of the river mouth so you could see where the sand banks were. The kitchen was well-equipped and nicely presented. We did have a problem with the septic system not flushing well and this adding an unpleasant smell necessitating air conditioning all weekend. I am told this will be attended to. Would recommend despite hiccups.

A well appointed cottage - the outlook and position on the River could not be bettered (unless you were staying on a houseboat!) So relaxing just sitting and watching the River with its amazing tidal changes, and the wildlife passing by. A choice of watercraft on hand . . . we used the canoe

Wow this place is magic. Only metres from the river with an amazing view & easy access to get in the water. Great facilities in the cottage. Comfortable bed & furniture & newly renovated. The use of stand up paddle board, fishing kayak, canoe etc. a big plus! Loved our stay & would recommend as a couple & our miniature poodle loved it too.

Beautiful view of the Minnamurra River that continually changes from morning to night. Lovely set out cottage for a couple & their miniature poodle. Comfortable bed, great shower, luxe linen & towels & all modern kitchen facilities for your use. The access to the river is something very special to have outside your door with use of paddle board, kayak, canoe or dinghy. We love the getaway!

What a gem of a property! We had the most incredible weekend in mirramurra. The cottage was literally on the water and had amazing views. Such a beautiful spot. The kitchen was very well equipped. All in all a fantastic weekend and we will definitely be returning !

We had such a lovely stay at riverside cottage. We could tell from the photos that it was going to be close to the water, but we had no idea how lovely it would be - waking up looking out on the river, swimming straight from the deck & canoeing down to the beach. We really hope to come back!

Perfect location and accomodation

Second time staying at the Riverside cottage and it was just as good as the first. The location speaks for itself while you do as much or as little as you wish with so many amenities at hand including a paddle board, dinghy and canoe all for use. The cottage itself is perfectly clean and tidy with a well equiped kitchen. Bring everything you need with you and kick back and watch the tides change from the doorstep. Once again a stay here has made us forget the troubles of the world. We can never get enough of just watching and enjoying the activities on the river. The cottage has everything we want and need. Perfect!
