Although wonderfully secluded and immersed in nature, Rockleigh Retreat is only minutes from Exeter village, boutique cafés, cellar doors and some of the region's finest food and wineries. Montrose House, Bundanoon, Moss Vale, Sutton Forest, Berrima and Fitzroy Falls are all within easy reach, making Rockleigh Retreat the perfect base from which to explore the Southern Highlands.

How is the property laid out?
Designed with flexibility in mind, the home comfortably accommodates families, couples travelling together and small groups. At its centre is a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a beautifully appointed kitchen and generous butler's pantry. Large sliding doors connect the living spaces with the outdoor entertaining terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. A separate media and games room provides an additional space to relax, watch a movie, enjoy the cocktail arcade table or challenge friends to a board game. The accommodation comprises four bedrooms, including two master suites with private ensuites, a third queen bedroom, and a versatile bunk room. A generous family bathroom and separate powder room complete the layout.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. There is a smart TV for streaming services. Please bring your own login details for streaming services.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
The generous entertaining terrace is perfectly positioned to capture the sweeping valley views and ever-changing landscape. Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the countryside, long lunches around the outdoor table, afternoons on the barbecue or evenings around the fire pit beneath brilliant Southern Highlands skies.

Designed to work with the surrounding environment, Rockleigh Retreat remains naturally comfortable throughout the seasons. During winter, the slow-combustion fireplace and hydronic underfloor heating create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the home's orientation and expansive glazing maximise natural light throughout the year.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and towels are provided at Rockleigh Retreat.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking on the driveway areas around the main house for 3 - 4 vehicles. Guests may also park in any of the sheds if they prefer to have their car under cover.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Rockleigh Retreat is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
