Located in one of the quieter streets in Hyams Beach and within walking distance of beaches and the cafe, Sailor's Cottage is a place for you to unwind and enjoy the beach! Recently renovated with new furniture throughout, Sailor's Cottage is ready to welcome guests. Close to the beach, but far enough from the crowds, Sailor's Cottage is a great choice for a holiday with family or friends.

Where will I be?
Sailor's Cottage is located on the uphill side of Tulip Street. It is very centrally located a short walk from the cafe and the three beaches in Hyams. By being one street back from the water, it avoids much of the hustle and bustle of the busy periods, but still has great views of Jervis Bay. A great location overall!

The cottage is a relaxed beach house with views over Jervis Bay. Recently renovated throughout, Sailor's Cottage is minimalist and uncomplicated. There is an outdoor deck with dining table where guests can enjoy a view of Jervis Bay and the fresh see breeze! Casual and comfortable, and great value for money.
How is the property laid out?
Sailor's Cottage has open plan living and kitchen with direct access to the outdoor deck with seating. The kitchen is fully equiped with oven, stovetop, fridge, microwave and coffee pod machine. There are three bedrooms: one Queen, and two with tri-bunks, sleeping a total of 8 guests. The shared bathroom has a shower and toilet, with an additional toilet in the laundry. There is space for parking three cars in the driveway.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Sailor's Cottage has a good sized backyard which backs onto a National Park. The deck has views to the bay and a grassed area at the rear of the property. The property has a BBQ and a deck has an outdoor table with seating.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Sailor's Cottage is equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioner in the main living area of the house. In cooler weather there is a slow combustion fireplace. On warmer days, the house can be opened up to catch the breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Sailor's Cottage. Though please remember to bring your favourite beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
Sailor's Cottage has parking in the driveway for 3 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sailor's Cottage is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Security Cameras
Security surveillance cameras are located on the exterior of the property only to monitor guest numbers, if necessary.
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
