Grab your flippers,beach lovers! At Sandals At The Bay you are only 100 metres from the white sands of Hyams beach. You will also enjoy ocean & treetop views from this large, comfortable and immaculate first floor apartment. 23a Bayview sleeps six, but you can book 23b Bayview as well to sleep a group of ten! The lawn and laundry at this property are shared by the upstairs and downstairs units.

Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023)
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Friday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
Where will I be?
Sandals at the Bay is located onBayview Avenue which is near the southern end of Hyams Beach. It is a very easy walk to the beach and Hyams Beach Cafe.
Why choose Sandals at the Bay (Upstairs)?
A large secure upstairs apartment with plenty of internal space and a large side deck facing out to the bay. From here you can enjoy lovely views and beach breezes whilst barbequing.
How is the property laid out?
Sandals at the Bay is a large first level apartment with water views from the living area and main bedroom. The apartment features a very large living area with adjoining dining room. Additionally it has a large side verandah facing the bay for outdoor living. The kitchen is large and recently renovated. All three bedrooms and bathroom are located together up a hallway. The main bedroom is a very generous size and features a king size bedroom. Bedroom Twohas a queen and Bedroom Threehas twosingle beds. All arecarpeted and have built in cupboards.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner.If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
Beside the side deck where there is a BBQ, there is also a large back yard that is shared with the downstairs apartment. There is an outdoorshower next to the garage. The downstairs BBQ area is reserved for the downstairs apartment.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
At Sandals at the Bay, there are two electric heaters and the living area is air conditioned. In addition each bedroom has a conventional or blade fan, as seen in the photos.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen is supplied at Sandals at the Bay - though pleaseremember to bring your own beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
You will have use of the right garage andthe right parking spot on the driveway. The left side is for use by 23b Bayview - the downstairs rear unit. Access to the garage is via the entrance foyer of 23a Bayview, and you can then open the garage manually from the inside.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sandals at the Bay is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many other pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

We loved our stay in Hyams beach. The property was perfect for my family.
The property’s location was fantastic, so close to the beach and very close to the store/cafe. The use of the laundry downstairs was very handy. There are fly screens throughout the house which meant you could get a great ocean breeze, as well as two really good fans for hot days. The kitchen was sparkling clean, it had comfortable beds and comfortable lounge area. The Tv and internet were great,as we had some rainy days. The property is as described!
This place is very clean(except for the garage) and well maintained. It is spacious and right next to the beach. Definitely recommend if you have a group and looking for a beach vacation.

Positive: Location very good, couple of minutes walking to the beach and Hyams cafe and store. Excellent cleanliness and very well equipped kitchen. Bed in master room very comfortable. Smart TV very convenient for the kids.Negative: Unfortunately the property next to this one has blocked the view to the bay from the nice balcony, however we spent relaxing moments in the balcony, at night, hearing the waves at the beach.
A perfect location for a relaxing holiday by the beach. Close proximity to Hyams Beach, with the perks of property privacy and parking. An older home with thoughtful touches provided to accommodate our stay. Kitchen was well equipped and apartment was kept clean. Would recommend
Set your expectations for this place to just be a close parking spot near Hyams Beach. Some areas of the property needed cleaning, but wasn’t that bad, BBQ was filthy and almost unusable. Don’t leave any items behind! as this is not your typical AirBnB... there won’t be any communication with the owners once you hand over your money and they won’t respond to you once you’ve gone. Very disappointed! But like us, you’ll probably spend the majority of your time on the sand.

Top spot and great accommodation. 1 min to beach - yes it is the whitest sand ever ... House had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Booking process was simple and straightforward (thanks!). Only thing of note is that the laundry only had a tub(no washing machine), which might be a pain if there for a longer period. Highly recommend taking the drive down thru the National Park to Murrays Beach and Scottish Rocks etc - stunning ... you could easily be in Fiji!
