Stylishly refurbished cottage in the heart of Huskisson, with good front and back yard, both fully fenced. From this lovely base, walk to the beaches, the park, cafes, and the town centre. Perfect for a family of 6 or a small group of friends. The home is true to the photos and retains some original features, including the bathroom.
Please note - construction on the lot behind
Please note that a unit complex is being built behind this property, and construction work could be ongoing for some time from commencement in August 2021. The back boundary is 26 metres from the house, so there is some distance to the neighbouring lot, however please be aware of this issue and please only book the house on this basis. Construction at this site is permitted during the week and on Saturdays.
Strictly NO PARTIES at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023)
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Saturday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
Where will I be?
Sandalwood is located on Duncan Street, Huskisson. It is a short walk to the town centre, the pub and the two main beaches (Huskisson Beach and Shark Net beach). Huskisson is filled with cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping.

Sandalwood is a lovingly refurbished beach house that will feel like a home away from home. It is stylishly furnished and decorated, and very well equipped.
How is the property laid out?
The property has three bedrooms, a side and rear deck for great indoor / outdoor living options, a lounge, dining and kitchen - all on one level. There is also a shared bathroom with separate toilet, and a separate laundry with second toilet.
The kitchen has a pod coffee machine that is compatible with Nespresso, Vittoria or Woolworths brand pods.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Sandalwood has a good sized back yard, perfect for a game of backyard cricket. It also has good sized rear and side decks that adjoin the back yard. Beaches are a short stroll away.
Sandalwood also has an outdoor shower, perfect for when you return from the beach!
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
This property has air conditioning in the lounge and the house can be opened up to catch any available breeze. In the winter months there are heaters for those chillier days.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, duvets, linen and bath towels are all provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street parking in the driveway for up to 3 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sandalwood is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

We loved our stay at sandalwood. Beds were comfy, plenty of room inside and out for the two small families. Loved the fire pit out the back and plenty of room in the drive way to park the boat loved it

Negative: Nothing. We had a great time.Positive: Great location - only five minutes walk to the bars, cafes and restaurants of Huskisson, but still nice and quiet. Five minutes walk to two lovely beaches. The bungalow is perfect. So clean, with everything you need for a comfy stay. We loved our stay here. We will be back.
