Scarborough is arguably the best positioned holiday home in Hyams Beach. From the living room and deck you can enjoy uninterrupted views down the beach and across the bay. Access to the beach is via your own private stairs. The home is an original Hyams Beach cottage that has been stylishly refurbished, yet still retains a classic, casual and comfortable feel. It sleeps 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Peak Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Tuesday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Friday being the arrival and departure day. Peak Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
Scarborough is in the best location in Hyams Beach. It is on the waterfront, with private beach access from the garden. Spend the evening listening to the waves, and wake each morning to an incredible sunrise over Jervis Bay. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the beach and visit the famous Hyams Beach Cafe which is only 2 doors along Cyrus Street.

How is the property laid out?
Scarborough is on one level. You enter via an enclosed courtyard and a hallway. The large master bedroom has an en-suite and the twin bedroom (2 x singles) and third queen bedroom share two additional bathrooms. The home has a lovely, large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with desk space and tv nook. There is also an internal laundry and a fantastic covered timber deck with the best views in Hyams Beach!
Wi-Fi, internet, Netflix or pay TV- will I have it?
This property provides complimentary NBN wifi.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the internet is always in service, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
The covered deck with outdoor setting and gas BBQ is the perfect space to take in the stunning views and beach atmosphere. Stairs from the deck lead to a small lawn and from the lawn area, the private stairs lead to the very northern end of the main beach.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
Scarborough can be opened up to catch any available sea breeze. The house is also equipped with electric heaters to keep you warm in cooler months.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Scarborough supplies high quality white linen and towels. Please however bring your favourite beach towel.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking for 2 vehicles at the end of the driveway. The access driveway and parking is shared with the street front house. Please be aware of this.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Scarborough is not pet friendly. Please contact us for our pet friendly options.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

This home provides everything you need for the perfect holiday. The location is impeccable with direct beach access, close to a cafe and the views are breathtaking. The home is beautifully decorated with all the little additions such as hand soap in all bathrooms. Kitchen accessories is fully supplied with lots of bowls and utensils for the perfect stay away from home. A must for any getaway.
