Sea Point at Hyams Beach – 4pm Check Out Sundays (except Peak season)!
7 Lotus Street, Hyams Beach
Sea Point is a casual, comfortable, older style, and character filled three level beach house with original bathroom and spectacular 180 degree views across Jervis Bay from its large wrap-around deck. The house sleeps six, has huge light filled living areas and is an easy 200 metre walk to Chinamans Beach.
Please note:
Take care when entering or leaving the property as the driveway is steep. Lotus Street is a dual carriage street with one-way systems in place. This said, for lower style vehicles, it is easier to enter the driveway from the right as you go up and left as you exit.
Strictly NO PARTIES at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

Sea Point at Hyams Review
Tia Giles - 2nd February 2022The place is lovely with amazing view of the bay. We have been quite impressed during our first nights stay.
Beautiful Stay
Paulette Araya - 22nd December 2021Location and overall look and feel of the home is amazing. Incredible views and layout, plenty of space! Everything was great and we have had the most amazing time. Thank you
Fantastic views
Kerrie Bruce - 17th December 2021Beautiful location with panoramic views of Jervis Bay. Lots of beautiful birds visit and fly past everyday. House is comfortable but basic. It was clean and the beds comfortable. Driveway is best for cars that are higher rather than low to ground as when street meets driveway there is a rather steep gradient.
Very cozy property
Vanessa Sommaro - 7th December 2021Cozy property. We really enjoyed it. It’s dated but clean and it had all the amenities we needed to enjoy the stay. The view is spectacular so even though we had bad weather we were able to enjoy being in the property and feel like we were In Jervis Bay.
Lovely house with original interiors and amazing view. The place is only a couple minutes walk from a variety of beaches and has a nice homely feel. Thank you for having us!
Great views and a charming home. The driveway is steep but I left my car on the road as I don’t have a four wheel drive. The house had everything we needed. Thanks.
What a view!
The view is ridiculous- we didn’t want to leave. The space is huge (4 couches, 2 dining tables +outdoor furniture) and very comfortable. It is not a 5-star resort, rather (preferably!) it is a beach-side property and full of cosy old charm. You won’t be obsessing about the little bit of sand you bring in, you can relax because it’s not pristine and you don’t feel like you need to keep it that way. It IS clean, there are no mice etc as described by other reviews. Frankly we don’t understand the reviews below 🤷🏼♀️. Kitchen is very well appointed, fridge is huge. Yes it does become warm (especially upstairs in the bedrooms as there is no aircon. However, it is so high on the hill that the breeze is effective if you open the windows and doors. You could BYO fan if you have space. Fly-screens on the doors to the balcony would be preferable, as there can be some bugs about. Bring bug spray! Yes the driveway is steep- but manageable and especially east if you use the neighbours driveway for a 3 point turn and then enter from the ‘wrong’ direction. Similarly, yes this venue would be inappropriate for anyone with mobility concerns- there are a great many precarious stairs. The TV reception is sketchy, and external connections don’t work reliably, so bring pre-downloaded content and use HDMI, the picture quality is great. Overall, we can’t wait to book again.
Beautiful view and great location
Lynette Cook - 13th March 2021The home likely has the best view in Hyams Beach. It is stunning and the home is in a great location. The beds were comfortable and there is a spacious living area. The only concern is that there is very little lighting in the main living areas to the point it was nearly impossible to read or do some work.
A well equipped holiday home with a gorgeous outlook to Jervis Bay. Be prepared to climb steps to enjoy it. The beds were very comfy, just like home. The house was clean and welcoming. The driveway was too steep for our long and low car so everything had to be carried up the steep driveway. Easy walk to 3 beaches with sparkling white sand. The Hyams Cafe has excellent coffee and menu

Elisa Palazzo - 22nd December 2020Great place. Thank you. It is a shabby chic style, we loved it. Sheets were clean but many black curly long hair. We used our linen. Lack of some basic kitchen supplies and glasses for wine. Barbecue is in a bad condition and dirty, we haven’t had the courage to use. The rules for garbage collection are not clear. Rugs smell of wet dogs. For the rest, the view is spectacular and you offer a great service. We have been here with you before and we’ll be back. Thanks
Seapoint has an amazing panoramic view of Jervis Bay, the sunrises in the morning were amazing & totally worth it. The house was spotless & the spiral stairs were even better in person. The driveway is a bit steep for anyone with a sedan or smaller cars - cars need to be driven up with a lot of care and on the right angle. Would still recommend the place!!
The house was stunning and accurately described. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, we saw dolphins in the morning from the house and we were so lucky with a few clear nights as the star gazing at night was exceptional. Thanks for the headsup of the driveway. Note for future guests to read description as the driveway is very steep and scrapes the bottom of the car a little. Also, the internal stair case and the stairs leading to the house should be noted for less mobile guests. Thanks for a beautiful stay. Will be recommending to friends.
Great location and view from the balcony! Would definitely stay again.
The photos show a spectacular view and an old but comfortable home. However they don’t show a property that needs TLC, a deep clean and maintenance. Sadly the hosts let us down by not pre-checking & cleaning the house properly before our arrival (bins full, BBQ gas empty, items left from previous guests not cleared away) even though they were helpful in allowing us to check in early. The house smells musty and smokey so a good airing is required (we also went out and purchased air fresheners which helped). Unfortunately our experience with the host once we complained was not pleasant and they were unprepared to assist in making our stay more comfortable. So sadly we cannot recommend this property.
Easy stroll to beach Great views of ocean with huge balcony on a hill Private even though there’s surrounding neighbours Could improve kitchen supplies (missing basic things like sugar) Pillows/bed were not that comfortable Bath was fantastic
Incredible view overlooking Hyams Beach
alext - 16th November 2018A comfortable house with an amazing wrap around deck and unparalled view overlooking Hyams Beach and Chinamans Beach. The house is in very close walking distance to both, and a short drive to Huskisson and Vincentia. A great place for a week or weekend away. We will definitely be back!
Perfect location, amazing view and charming house
Anna - 23rd May 2018The house has so much charm and the best view! Utterly breathtaking with a very sizeable balcony, perfect spot for an afternoon/evening drink! Easy quick walk to Chinamans and Hyams beaches, and pet friendly so we took out pooch with us who loved the lying in the sun which drenches the home. We visited in winter and it was a perfect getaway.
great location
adf1 - 24th April 2018the drive is a problem - impossible to not scrape the car!
Amazing Views and Relaxation
Clare - 22nd September 2014We were so pleased with our stay at Hyams Beach as we had amazing views, weather and accommodation to relax in. It was lovely waking up in such a peaceful area and so close to all the stunning beaches. The house itself was so warm and had a real fire for the evenings. The bathroom was cold and possibly needs updating however the rest of the house was lovely and comfortable. Views out to the Heads!
