Summerdaze is a casual and comfortable beach house, mostly in original condition. The home is stylishly decorated and furnished, and has a lovely, full width deck with district and Jervis Bay views. The main beach at Hyams is straight down Bayview Avenue from the house. A great option for a small family or group of friends on a budget.
Strictly NO PARTIES at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023)
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Wednesday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
Where will I be?
Summerdaze is located at the top of Bayview Avenue, a cul de sac street. This location gives the property elevated views of the district and some views of Jervis Bay through the trees. The walk to the main beach at Hyams is 350m each way. The walk back is uphill.

How is the property laid out?
Summerdaze is set on one level with a full width deck, kitchen and living room at the front of the house, and three bedrooms plus the shared bathroom (shower and toilet) at the back of the house. The house is set up one level from the parking, and is accessed via a flight of external stairs. There is not internal stair access. This is seen in the photos.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Summerdaze has a lovely bush setting, with the Jervis Bay National Park at the rear, and plenty of natural trees around. The house has a covered area under the house (for use as parking or a ball games area for kids), and on the main living level, there is a full width timber deck with gas BBQ.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Summerdaze needs to be opened up to any available sea breeze in summer. In winter, there are various electric heaters for your use.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Summerdaze. Please bring your own beach towels however.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
The driveway access to Summerdaze is steep. Please be aware of this. Once you get to the top of the driveway, there is easily parking for 2 vehicles under cover. When leaving the property, you should take time to turn your vehicle around at the top of the driveway. Reversing down the driveway is not recommended for visitors who are not familiar with the property.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Summerdaze is not a pet friendly property. Please contact us or search our website for a list of pet friendly options.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
