Coastal cottage Christmas

Clean, bright, comfortable and steps to the water. We spent two weeks over Christmas with 4 young children here. House was exceptionally clean with a small lighted Christmas table decoration to welcome us. Fluffy towels and lovely linens. I was nervous that the location would be noisy as it’s packed in with its neighbors but the garden and decks proved private and quiet. Falling asleep to the waves along the shoreline…well it was wonderful.

Coastal Bliss

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway before the silly season arrives. The house had plenty of chill out space and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic and we loved how close we were to the beach which was pet friendly and the path to town only took 15 mins. In all this house is now our Huskisson favourite and we will be booking again.

Cosy cottage by the sea

Loved this cottage, it was charming, clean modern and close to the water. Will be wanting to return in warmer weather to enjoy the deck.

Great house and Location

Great house and great location on the beach. We really appreciated the the comfortable sofa to enjoy the TV or read, the separate dining table and large rooms. Our grown children did not decide to stay with us as originally planned but they did visit and the house was comfortable to rest with a drink, prepare food for our hikes and enjoy their company. As a tea drinker I liked the generosity of supplies but was surprised there was no teapot. Thanks for a pleasant stay Shirley

Love this place

1 Tapalla is a beautiful place to stay. So close to everything but very quiet and peaceful, even during the busiest period of January.

We had a great week with 6 adults and our dog, with lots of space and perfect location.

A really beautiful location, cosy home, and pet friendly! Although it’s in the listing just make sure you’re equipped with toiletry and cooking essentials. Highly recommend catching sunrise and sunset at Huskisson beach, we saw one of our favourite sunsets here.

Great peaceful spot at the edge of huskisson away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to get to the high street. The whole family had a great time, including the dogs. Will be back again I’m sure

A lovely cottage in a great location. Nice and quiet too.

A nice house in a GREAT location. Nice and clean and everything that was advertised was correct. Our dog loved the stay and we felt safe as both the front and back yard are fenced. The car park spot was tight and required a bit of manoeuvring to get it in - but we do have a big car. All up a great place - we will be back

Perfect stay for a family and furry friends!

Great house, perfect for our family of 5 adults and fur babies. Front yard is secure so they can be left while you go exploring. Dog friendly beach is right across the road! As previous reviews mention, no pantry basics for cooking but we planned ahead for this. Overall a great stay!

House very comfortable, in a great location and feels very homey however be aware that toiletries are not supplied and there is only 2 rolls of toilet paper. Overall was an excellent weekend away and location is perfect.

This is a perfect beach house for a family getaway! The location is terrific being right on Moona Moona Reserve so a short walk to the beach, children’s playground and on the shared path to walk into Huskisson. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Huskisson's hidden gem

We've stayed at this cottage consistently over the last 20 years and it never disappoints. Great location for beach access and walks in both directions, love the dual bathrooms, quick washing machine, and spacious kitchen. As many other reviewers point out, basic kitchen supplies are not provided, it seems they clear out every bit of cooking oil, soap and salt & pepper on cleaning, so be prepared to bring your own but that is really the only negative.

Nice house on great location, Moona Moona creek is right across the house. Our kids played at the playground and the lagoon every. Just make sure you bring enough essentials stuff with you as they barely provide anything.

Perfect location

Our family loved our stay at Tapalla point. It’s an easy walk to the kid friendly moona moona creek and the house was very comfortable for the four of us, room for the kids & adults to relax.

We enjoyed our stay at 5 Tapalla point. Very handy location just next to Moona Moona creek and Huskisson beach which are both pet friendly . The front yard is good size. Beds were comfy. All in all we enjoyed our stay there and so did our dog.

Awesome property in a great part of town. Dog friendly. So close to the water. An easy stroll into town. Will definitely come back!

stunning location

Perfect beach cottage, great location, close to shops, Moona Moona Creek your backyard. We always stay at Tapalla, the little extra touches this stay were appreciated. Also very clean. For us it's a home away from home.

Tri stopover - dog friendly

Lovely weekend getaway, great house with all the comforts and perfect location by the water. Our first weekend away with the dog too, no issues with garden size and secure fencing.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the quaint beach holiday house. Fantastic quiet location close to the beach and Moona Moona Creek and short walk into town via walkway to buy an icecream!

Great location but some issues

This is a cute house in a beautiful, convenient and quiet location but no basics in the cupboard (not even glad wrap or paper towel) and the wifi didn't work. Another issue was the dishwasher - you couldn't fit a standard size plate without the rotor arm hitting it. There weren't many plates or bowls provided so in the end it was easier just to wash up. Overall we had a lovely stay, and it was great to bring the dog with us. Thanks.

Felt like home

This charming iconic holiday house is really well maintained and appealingly decorated. Full laundry and 2 bathrooms are very practical.Loved the north facing sunfilled backyard and cute little front balcony bbq area protected by lovely old gum trees and with views of the Moona Creek inlet.Very happy !

Lovely place but not really dog friendly

Great location right on the corner of the creek and beach, just out of town in a nice quiet spot. The house was a well furnished and equipped holiday home. Very pretty, light filled and welcoming. A great holiday house! Great deal with the stay 2 nights get one free. Much appreciated! The wifi was however not working which was actually a drawcard for booking the property as I needed to complete some work during our time away. I called the office to be told at first the property did not have internet despite being advertised and on all the welcome documents, then told that its an intermittent service and it wasn't considered a problem and it wasnt looked into any further even though I tried to explain what was actually happening when trying to connect. The dogs loved the location, the beach etc, however, You cannot actually leave the dogs out on the back deck and leave the house. There is a seat inbuilt to the balcony side which even a very small dog can jump on, then easily jump over if they wanted. We have 2 very well behaved dogs, and i doubt they would, however we tried to leave them on the deck and go out, and were overwhelmed with worry and had to return to the house to sadly lock them in the laundry. We were not at all happy with this situation. Our dogs are our family. There is a large amount of brand new looking fencing around the house, so i would suggest putting one extra panel between the new fencing and house to put the dogs in while away from the house. A lovely stay, however unless the Dog Friendliness of the house improves we will not be able to return.

Cute Cottage, Great Location

My husband and I stayed here as we were too late in booking the Hyam's beach cottages. This was just as good. its a great little home. We stayed here for 4 nights, was a 10 min drive to Hyams Beach, and a 1 min drive to Huskisson restaurants & pub. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people. Clean & tidy w/ linen. Lamp shades beside the bed were broken, and some windows were unable to be opened which wasn't to good as we would have like to capture the sea breeze throughout the house. But overall a great little place to stay. Would definitely return! its close to everything without being amongst the hustle & bustle of all the main attractions around the area. I highly recommend it!
