Where will I be?
The Cottage is located in the town of Colo Vale, just north of Mittagong. Colo Vale is the easiest of the Southern Highlands towns to get to from Sydney, and if you want to explore the Southern Highlands, all of Alpine, Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale and Berrima are within easy driving distance. If you are attending a function at Grow Wild or Villa Navarra, this is the perfect location!

How is the property laid out?
The Cottage is located on a small property and is located separately to the main house, ensuring privacy. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a generous open plan living and dining area with fireplace. The bathroom features a shower and bath. The queen sofa bed in the lounge room accommodates 2 of the 6 guests. The spa is located in a covered area, as seen in the photos.
Wi-Fi, internet, Netflix or pay tv- will I have it?
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
What about outdoors?
Enjoy lounging in the outdoor chairs on the long, covered verandah at the front of the house and soak in the surrounding nature. There is a small grassed area that is fenced, perfect for young children or your pet. There is also a spa that is undercover and can be used in all weather.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
On cool winter days enjoy sitting by the combustion fire place in the lounge room. In the warmer months, the house can be opened up to catch any available breeze, or the reverse cycle air conditioner can be utilised.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets, bath towels and beach towels for the spa are provided at The Cottage.
Parking for cars, boats etc.?
Being a rural property, there is parking available next to The Cottage.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes, your favourite pet is welcome to stay at The Cottage and please note the following:

the yard is NOT fully fenced

please keep your pets off all furniture and beds

please clean up behind your pet
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
