Great ambience beautiful view!

This was our second year staying at The Shack. We love to take our fur baby away with us and The Shack is so well set up for dogs. It has dog bowls etc available for use and a good sized well fenced garden for your dog to run around. It is very well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen and has a BBQ on the huge deck close to the kitchen. It has a unique ambience that has been thoughtfully created by the owners. The beach and shops are a short walk away.

Delightful

delightfulis not a word I use often, but our stay here was truly that. The house was so comfortable and enjoyable for our family of five, and our lovely older dog enjoyed the company of a neighbour’s dog named Nugget. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The aspect of the house facing the ocean is just gorgeous. The kitchen was nicely stocked—not the carbon copy of basics usually supplied at holiday homes. We truly enjoyed our relaxing family long weekend away.

Relaxing family break

Loved our stay. The living/entertaining area was a highlight. Perfect for a relaxed break from the city. Perfect location to beach and restaurants. Loads of space and the kitchen was well supplied with all the amenities you could ever want, including a soda stream! Would definitely stay again

Perfect stay in Gerringong

Had a fabulous weekend stay at the Werri Shack. The house was perfect for a weekend stay. House was better in real life than the photos. Had everything you could want. Balcony was lovely. Couldn't recommend highly enough. 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed the daily sunrise, sunset, short walk to the shops and the verandah space for our family of eight adults.

Superbly comfortable

Werri Shack is everything you want in a beach house. Beautifully styled, comfortable, well-equipped and close to beaches and the lovely rock pools. A five minute walk to the local shops and restaurants/cafes. It was very quiet, the beds were comfortable and the fans kept us cool on hot summer nights. It was great to have good non-stick pans and sharp knives. We would definitely stay again.

We've just returned from a beautiful week at The Werri Shack. We loved our stay. Stunning views, gorgeous decor , a well stocked pantry and everything we needed for a relaxed family holiday with our fur baby. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect for a Girls Weekend Away

The Shack is great for a friends weekend away. Great views out to the ocean and beach make sitting on the balcony with a cuppa just delightful. The house has all you need with the kitchen well equiped. A short walk to the shops for a coffee and a shop make it tick all the boxes.

Wonderful house for a long weekend - beautifully presented with an amazing deck/view and close to shops. But be careful going down the drive in a big car - it's narrow !!!.

Fantastic place

Thank you so much. It was our first time in a while that we had a get away with our boys. We had a wedding at the Mercure and it was perfect for our stay. The place was clean and my wife was so amazed at all the utensils, plates, just kitchen thing’s available. It had the best view and the whole place was more than expected. Thank you so much.

WOW - What an amazing location!!! Can

I recently stayed at the Werri Shack and from the moment I walked through the front door, I was so impressed! Greeted by an amazing ocean view, you instantly relax from the moment you arrive. Its a 3 minute walk down to the beach or the shops. The beds are super super comfy and plenty of spots to find your little place if you want some me time! CANT WAIT TO GET BACK THERE AGAIN!

Midweek coastal escape

Our family of four & our beloved dog had a wonderful midweek getaway at The Werri Shack. From the moment we opened the front door the house welcomed us in. Lots of space for everyone to sit back, relax & take in the gorgeous view of Werri beach & the coastal headlands. Walking distance to town for all that we needed. We loved it & can’t wait head back!

Wonderful beach home

A lovely home with an awesome view of the ocean and a fantastic large deck to relax. The home itself is well equipped, cosy and has comfy beds as well as a great games room. What’s more, it is in a great location less than 10 mins to both the beach and main shopping & cafe strip plus its dog friendly. Highly recommend

House is well equipped and comfortable. Gas fire is tricky to get started once started it performs well. Kept lovely and warm. Thanks for a great stay.

A gorgeous place in an excellent location.

A stones throw from the café strip and a short walk down to the beach, this is a prime location. Gorgeous interiors, quality beds and linen, and all the extra kitchen appliances make this a very comfortable place to stay. And with its enormous covered deck (with heating) and games aplenty, we were kept fully entertained on our wet weekend away. We look forward to a return visit in better weather.

Absolutely amazing!!

My family and I wanted to take our mother away for an amazing and chilled belated birthday weekend away and the Werri Shack sure did deliver. The house itself is beautifully laid out, functional and great for kids with the games room downstairs and plenty of backyard space. The house is located close to the beach and the view from the upper deck is amazing. We highly recommend the Werri Shack to anyone looking for a chilled weekend away with the family or a group of friends.

More than a shack

From the moment we entered The Werri Shack we were in holiday mode. Straight to the veranda to gaze out at the ocean, with the timing being right saw our first whale of the season. The home is obviously very well maintained and cared for, styled by a professional - artistically and practically. Extremely comfy beds, plenty of room with a well appointed kitchen where you can make your coffee whilst checking the surf. Having the table tennis was a plus for our family too. We’ll be back for sure

Fantastic

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was fantastic. The house was great, spacious, light and bright and had everything that you could need for a weekend away. Location was fantastic as well. Within walking distance to the beach, the park and the beautiful town/restaurants. Heating was great and it was lovely to have the gas heater for out on the balcony allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space. The yard was also fantastic and our dog loved the neightbours' dog who was very friendly.

Wonderful house complete with whale watching from the deck

This house was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable, and it was wonderful watching whales and the pumping surf from the deck. The neighbour and his dog were great - they came out when we first got there just to make sure our dogs would get along (since the dogs would be able to see each other through the fence separating the two backyards). Looking forward to booking my next stay at the Werri Shack!

Great location, super family friendly, great view, super beachy vibes, comfy beds, even the day beds downstairs that convert to beds are super comfy! Fully equipped kitchen means you don’t have to go out for food, but is a 5 min easy walk if you want to go out!

Family holiday

Very comfortable, clean, some windows hard to open (hence our problem in bedroom downstairs). Kitchen well equipped, problem with upstairs TV getting free to air and Netflix, a few extra bath towels recommended, would give a 5 star if driveway/parking had been easier but overall we enjoyed our family Xmas very much.

We love this house

We’ve stayed here twice. The deck is huge and wonderful for relaxing. The style of the house is gorgeous, but it’s not so perfect you can’t relax. Downstairs is great to give older kids their own space. And it’s so sensible that a few basic supplies are already there. Nothing worse than only being left one dishwasher tablet and no salt and pepper!

The Werri Shack was a lovely home for a large group. It is just like the photos and is wonderfully decorated. The kitchen provided many amenities that were very useful, and many cleaning supplies were provided. The only downside of this house, is the lack of sound proofing. From the rooms downstairs, every noise made upstairs can be heard. Many of us found it very difficult to sleep as even walking at a normal pace and not thumping, can be heard very clearly. Otherwise we had a lovely time here, and particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach from the top deck. Would stay again.

Place was really clean, beautifully styled with all the little touches thought of. Amazing location and walking distance to beach and shops. The deck was a stand out and our dog loved the backyard!

We stayed for 2 night with our friends and dogs and we all enjoyed the property. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to the town centre, beach and coastal walk (all walking distance).

Would Love To Visit Again!

Amazing place to holiday with teenagers and dogs. The downstairs area [is the] perfect place for the kids to have their own space. Brilliantly equipped kitchen as well - made cooking etc a pleasure. Would love to visit again!

Perfect for teenagers

Bought three teenage boys down for a four night stay during the first week of Christmas school holidays to get them away from technology etc. The set up of the place is amazing. The boys spent most of their relaxation time playing table tennis, playing footy in the yard or relaxing in the rumpus room. Also had two dogs in tow - the place is great for them as well. The yard is secure and the balcony a great spot for them to snooze in the sun. The place is also well suited for the adults. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are ample spots to sit and get into a good book. Overall highly recommended.

Perfect Location!

This was such a pleasant surprise for myself, partner and our dog. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, with good quality linen and bathroom towels. The entire home is immaculate and offers extensive views over Werri Beach. We loved every minute of our 5 day stay here. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. The beach, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Thank you so much - we will be back soon!

Perfect Beach House

The perfect dog-friendly beach house. Amazing views, and expansive covered balcony from which to enjoy them. Fully fenced, large yard great for the dog. Lovely personal touches such as Mecca sunscreen provided, and a beautiful Werri Beach Shack beach bag. Will be back!

Casual, relaxed beatifully appointed beach house!

As you look at the photos, the shack looks wonderful. They do not do it justice however. The view is vastly superior and the rooms are generously large. The interior design of the shack is modern, well thought out and very relaxed. There is everything you need in this one and a distinct attention to detail. A short walk to the beach and halfway up the hill to the high street. In a very quiet street, so typically Australian and relaxed. We will certainly grab this one again when returning to see family in Gerringong. High recommend it for its ease of check-in process, style, relaxed and comfortable interiors, the view and proximity to both the High Street and the beach! Well done and thank you.

Beautiful Location

Jan 2019-Werri Shack has a cool coastal vibe, relaxing to be in and to look at and to look out from (great views). Close to shops,cafes, restaurants and its a downhill walk to the beach - bonus ! We'll be back.

Just spent a week at the Werri Shack and had a great stay with extended family and our pets. Top location and outlook to the sea, even better than in the pics. Walk to Gerringong shops and beach was easy. Would love to get back there again.

I booked the Werri Shack months ago for our annual Xmas weekend away with friends. We spent hours on the back deck which had spectacular views of the beach and headland. Great house and great location with a short walk to the beach and the village. We will be back.

Great house for families and teens downstairs. Very welcoming and comfortable living with stunning views from all living windows. Pet friendly so our little dog also enjoyed his few days away. Perfect sights and sounds

We loved our stay here. We found ourselves relaxing from the moment we arrived and saw the incredible view of the ocean and beach. The bright, clean and relaxed dcor was just perfect for winding down. Our little dog loved it too. We all slept so well with the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep.
